I'd take Williams back as the RG on a team friendly contract. He was ok there.

They looked super baggy on Keith Ellison
Tommy D didn't draft Ellison so that's probably why. Keith certainly wasn't built like, for instance, Mike Williams who wore those unis so well.

We need someone better than Ford at RG. That's the bottom line for me. If it's Bates at a reasonable contract, great. If it's some FA at a reasonable contract, great too.
Just not Ford.

Shaq or Jerry on the same contact?

If there’s only been one player you can remember being sold on after their rookie year…..you either don’t watch enough football or aren’t a very good evaluator of talent imo.
definitely up to you to decide. I’m just giving free advice.
Excellent advice ty have a great day

Idk what to say except that maybe you should watch more football or stop watching football because you’re not a very good evaluator

If true guess this team is supremely confident in Allen continuing to stay healthy for 17+ game season.
I agree with you. I don't think Matt has the ability to cover more than one game these days. I think his time is over. Love you Matt

I’ve been sold on several rookies. Many people have been.
You don’t think anyone should ever be sold on a rookie? That’s strange. Being sold on a player doesn’t mean that said player will 💯 be a star, it just means that you loved what you saw and are confidant that they’ll be good players.
Sold as in sure about he's going to continue being good/bad/same? No, I'm trying to think if I've ever been that sure. I think that's pretty normal. /shrug
EDIT I thought of a very recent one. Jamarr Chase. I'm sold on him no question

It played better but “very well”. Nah. Josh was pulling some Houdini ***** to escape almost definite sacks as his offensive line got blown up in front of him…. Especially in the divisional game.
I’m still not even sold on Brown. Dude was down right awful at times in pass protection last season.
I don't think anyone should be "sold" on Brown. He was a rookie lol. Of course he isn't a finished product

I think Miami has a decent look at maybe getting a game off the Bills this year. You gotta squint a bit and get creative but I could see it. I wouldn't bet on it though.
I think they spank the Jets twice.
Pats are an unknown to me. Gotta see them play a bit. I would bet money we punt at some point though.

Ill take Bob Woods back

Honestly. I feel bad for Browns fans. The team is hamstrung with Watson eating tons of cap space and 3 first round draft picks.
Admittedly I don't like Watson the human. But even as a player, I don't think I would have touched this deal if I were a GM.No one wants to be lost in the Wilderness that is No QB. We know that's a horrible place to be

It's a little after noon. You just grabbed lunch and you're heading back to the office. You're walking down the side street between your building and the next. "pssssssttt"
"hey over here"
Brandon Beane is squatting behind a dumpster. He's drawn a fake mustache on his face with a sharpie.
"yeah you. Listen to this..." looks around nervously
"Keep this to yourself ok?" *whispers* "I heard big Star is retiring. Know that."

Feliciano was a backup g/c. Not a starter as evidenced by him being healthy and watching Bates play.
Breida wasn’t our 3rd down back. He was 3rd rb and rarely ever played.
dimarco? Are you serious? Fireable offense.
The offense has never been the same after losing Pat 😉

If they were planning on him being their starter, they should have given him a 2nd round tender, and they didn't. So they are either taking a huge risk, or planning on finding a starting guard in the draft.
I'm wondering if it matters. If you're willing to pay him more, why not choose a lower tender then match any reasonable offer. Best case no one offers and you get him for a lower price, or someone offers a reasonable price and you match, or someone offers more and you let him go (w/o comp I understand)
I just mean that if you're willing to match, why not choose the lower tender?

Now THIS is an interesting nugget. We might end up getting screwed.
Do you think he is worth more than we offered him? What do you think he will get from the Vikes? How much do you think the Bills will match up to?

Most would believe the Bills upgraded at O-Line coach.
Ryan Bates was a better OG than Jon Feliciano down the stretch. And Rodger Saffold is likely an upgrade over Darryl Williams.
Matt Breida was not our third down back. He was barely active last season.
Patrick DiMarco hasn't been on the roster since 2019. This one is odd.
I thought including Pat was enough of a signal lol

The Bills lost their OC and playcaller
The Bills lost their O-line Coach
The Bills lost their 2 starting guards (Feleciano* and Williams)
The Bills lost their third down back (Breida)
The Bills lost their blocking fullback (DiMarco)
We've got our right tackle though. And Von Viller.
EDIT for clarity, this post is /s

unless the cap expands a heck of a lot in the next few years, this whole thing may fall apart in 2-3 years.. McD will get fired, all the schemes will change, the dead cap hits will explode, and we'll be right back where we started from during the drought.
Is spending our way back to drought-land worth winning a SB, which itself is more crap shoot (see Bengals this year) than ever. Is it? What if they can't stay healthy during the VonMiller "shinyobjectoverspend" era? Then its 2025, all the talent gets cut to get down to the cap, etc, etc. Drought city.
they had a roster capable of winning it last year, one ST coach shat the bed at crunch time to screw that up. why all of a sudden change course and wreck the cap chasing older shiny objects? Have they suddenly lost the faith in the process that got them to the brink of the trophy? What happened to "doing your 1/11th". Team defense. Team culture. Hell, lets go sign freakin Jarvis Landry, who makes Star's selfishness look like child's play. Lets blow it all up to get one trophy that will collect dust for rest of Josh's career.
so much for "trusting the process" ... the process just got tossed out the window. not sure I am good with this. We shall see.
Man I hope you got that hit of dopamine after this. Otherwise, yikes

Well, we only have a 2 year window and the other 23 D-linemen that we drafted all suck, so what else were we supposed to do? We needed a pass rusher. Beans obviously can’t hit on DE’s so we needed a FA. At least he recognized it and fixed the problem.
Now we should trade Edmunds and dump Beasley.
Covered all the bases there I love it! You forgot Star though, page 5 of the handbook
