On draft day, people were saying KC fleeced the Bills.

Considering Worthy's physique, I'd say KC "flea-ced" itself, taking a junior mint version of Tyreek Hill.  Hill is NOT a slight, light guy.  He's an athlete with an athlete's body, who happens to be really fast.  Worthy will suffer with physical abuse from NFL LBs and DBs, he'll catch some long TDs and drop some others, and he won't get a second contract.  In the meantime the Chiefs waste a roster spot and the chance to draft and develop an actual NFL WR.

IDK what will happen with Worthy, but you're spot on about Tyreek: The dude is a tank

    Thanks.

I always love the "comments from league execs and coaches" articles. They're awesome.

Unfortunately, the comments about Coleman and Worthy match my own feelings. And the statement "there is now a big difference in the amount of speed around Mahomes and the amount of speed around Josh Allen". Yep. Not great, Bob.

Worthy should have gone top 15 with all the praise he's getting all of a sudden. Great player

I dont know why you are knocking youtube, they literally have full game cuts on there.  It's no different than what scouts are watching.  A cut up scout video is like 20 mins max.  There is so much dead time in a football game.

His blocking is hit and miss.  Some good blocks, and some poor ones.  I did notice that it seemed like he took a few too many plays off for my liking.  Every player in the NFL does, but its something I didn't like with Diggs, so I'm not going to like it with Coleman.

I don't know why I'm getting knocked for having an opinion that MANY really good analytic sites are saying.  If Keon succeeds, it will be an outlier based on how past WR like him have done.  I thought there were more sure bets at WR at 28, who still had flaws, but overall they had the production or tape where you could see it translating.

The overall theme around Keon is a lot lower than what the Bills thought.  Generally speaking, Beane has been terrible in the 2nd round.

Not to mention, Beane thought so highly of Keon, that he had no issue giving up control for a 5th year.  If Beane thought Keon was going to make multiple pro bowls, he wouldn't have given up that 5th year option.  For a guy like Chase, it's saving Cin over 10 million.

My guy, there's a big shift in tone from what you just wrote in a more reasonable way (which I still disagree with in severalparts), and the following difinitive statements which you can't possibly know:

I don't know how anyone can watch this man play football and think he will be successful in the NFL.  The dude just runs what looks like half speed out there.  His routes are a joke.

The guy will not win on the outside in the NFL.  Sauce Gardner will literally laugh at Coleman trying to get opened.  He will be walking out there and able to be in his hip pocket.  You think Coleman is going up over Gardner to get a ball?!

Did Sauce Gardner laugh when Shakir ran by him like he was nothing on his 80 yard TD.?

    Give me a break.

Let's see how Coleman does before you claim a p***y like Gardner is laughing at anything.

Some of these people are dug in so far to their draft opinions they are moving into crazy territory now, it's wild the stuff they are saying

“He texted me the day of and was like, ‘You’re the guy I want. I watched a lot of receivers and I want to play with you,’” Coleman said, via the team’s website. “And I’ve been saying the same thing. I want to play with the guy that wears number 17. I think he’s a great quarterback, one of the best in the league right now and I would love to be catching passes from him. I’m ready for that.”

Yes, I don't know how anyone can watch this man play football and think he will be successful in the NFL.  The dude just runs what looks like half speed out there.  His routes are a joke.  They are not crisp, they are not sudden, they are not twitchy, they are not precise, and to top it all off, he looks to be in slow motion.  I personally think his hands are grossly overrated.  Go watch the 22 min video on youtube of him, there are countless balls that are in his hands that he doesn't come down with.  I don't know why those aren't counted as drops.

The guy will not win on the outside in the NFL.  Sauce Gardner will literally laugh at Coleman trying to get opened.  He will be walking out there and able to be in his hip pocket.  You think Coleman is going up over Gardner to get a ball?!

This is just baffling to me scouts watched this man play and came away with the impression he will be a good WR.

Well, they LOVED Jerry Hughes and he was the same thing. 5 sacks a year and they treated him like he was a Saint. He was the most overrated player here through his tenure

No one is saying to pay Groot top dollar

No one is saying he's the best player in the league

No one is saying he's a saint lol

You guys are impressive with your ability to create something out of thin air so that you can argue against it

Decent player. Not worth an extension at this point. Maybe that changes? IDK.

A lot like most our roster.

that's that negative spin we needed around here

So Coleman didn't just run the fastest gauntlet time this year, he ran the fastest in the last TWO years.  The fastest last year - who also had a slow 40 -- was Puka Nakua and Coleman was faster than him.  At least Puka didn't jog, and he is not too bad.

Doesn't count, 40 time, accuracy rate, separation, you can't improve accuracy you have it or you don't

if the bills keep him as a big body outside wr. He’s going to give a Gabe Davis like production. Which is to say he might have a big game or two. But he may go 3-4 weeks with 0-1 catches …. Be a blocker on the outside

it is what it is folks
