  1. Do you see the irony here? A championship team with an immensely better roster has the cap space to bring in a good player. A persistently losing franchise with a less talented roster can't afford to keep a good player because it is in a tight cap situation. Which organization is better managed? No one can deny that the Pats are the gold standard in this league.

Is anyone really saying that Bills have been a better managed organization than the *Pats? Really? I'm not hearing that here.

  2. I've been in the camp that if you could show me someone better than by all means move on. I just haven't seen the better options out there. Not a ringing endorsement, but that's where we are. I didn't think a restructuring would be possible given how sparse the QB market is so whatever they have done, I think it makes some sense.

And thank god I can stop worrying about what the #$% they were going to do!

  3. Its always great when we are sitting on here whining about how Boston sucks at parades because they have them all the time... F me. Either way, my office is on the parade route and it took me an extra hour to get in today because all the trains were full of yahoos. Now I'm paying $42 to park and it'll take me twice as long to get home. Whatever the turnout is, the streets are definitely not empty.

  4. If Mehta can't see that the reason the Bills fired Rex was because the defense sucked, that's his forte, and with a halfway decent defense they probably would've made the playoffs, he's an idiot. And the cheap shots at Buffalo just make him look like a giant douche.

Absolutely. The premise of the article is that there was no way he could win with our offense. Even if you didn't watch the games, which I'm sure Mehta didn't, the score board would show that the defense was a serious problem.

  5. I think we'll know what the Pats think of their backup quarterbacks by how much playing time they get over the next two games. They have the Jets and then Miami. My guess is the Jets will be getting blown out and leaving the door open for them to bring one of them in. They could have home field locked up before the Miami game meaning they could sit Brady (and blow any chances we might possibly have left of the playoffs by letting Miami win). If Brissett sees the field then I'd think that means Jenine is hitting the market. There is really only a game and a half of tape on Garoppolo and he didn't stay healthy. I'd be wary to say he is going to step into a starting role and blow Tyrod's performances out to the water.

I hope he reads this forum.

To the moron that shattered his leg jumping onto a table: you are the reason many Bills fans wished Bon Jovi won the bid, and why I rarely wear my Bills stuff in public anymore.

I don't live n Buffalo, so the grief I get for how stupid people around the country think our fanbase is has me ashamed. I went to games and generally had a great time like anyone else when I was younger, and drank a lot of beer while doing it, but we tried to keep it respectable. I won't go to anymore home games if something isn't done about the idiots that now litter the parking lots.

There is no way that the glorification of these idiots jumping into tables is going to keep me from going to games or wearing my Bills gear. I live in Patriots country and I can wear my gear without anybody mistaking me for one of these asshats.

  7. Born in BLo - live in Massachusetts. There is a great Bills Backers of Boston group that has grown steadily over the last 10+ years since I've known it. Married a Pats fan from a Pats family, but my four year old knows all the words to the shout song and gets pissed at my wife for not putting on her Bills shirt like the rest of us.

I'm in the Middle East, in a tent. Can't say exactly where. But I check this website at least 3 times a day. You guys are awesome, GO BILLS!

This is awesome. Thanks for your service!

  8. The one time they shut me out was when it was really close to the start of the season. I had also received it free for a few years before that, which might have been a factor too. It helps if you have a grievance of some kind that you bring to them. I got a sweet deal this year because Directv had a dispute with the our local NBC affiliate and it wasn't resolved until halfway through the Olympics. Telling them that they made my children miss their first summer Olympics played out great.

  9. I don't live in the Buffalo area anymore and most of my family and extended family doesn't either. The one home game a year I go to is the one thing that helps bring everyone back. But more than that, I'll still get the Directv package and waist my time reading everyone's post on this blog, probably because I've invested too much at this point to let it go.

Plus, we all know that the irrational optimism starts to flow again starting around March of each year...
