I'm in exactly the same boat. My in-laws, brother-in-law, etc all Pats fans. I can hear the arguments about the games starting already. They'll be trying to make my kids Pats fans too which pisses me off to no end... Merry f'n Christmas! Go Bills!

I'd be just fine without the celebrations. I'll still teach my kids that its not the right way. But I get it and I guess I'd rather they get to do what they want to do as opposed to the "no fun league"

Its hard to say from that angle what happened to Dawkins on that play (other than getting burned). However, Peterman doesn't get touched until after he lets the ball go. Maybe they were in his head at that point.

I feel the pain of the OP. I married a Pats fan over a decade ago. I'm also a Yankees fan and shes a Red Sox fan. We can watch Yanks/Sox games together (mostly), but its separate rooms for those extra special Bils/Pats Sundays.
I'm married to a pat's fan. She's fine honestly... her dad on the other hand is an insufferable POS.

Here is an idea- rent an rv and get the full tailgate experience? If not I would stay downtown- nothing is really far from any place that you pick- Marriot and Hyatt would be a good choice. You can also consider East Aurora- a cozy town with good restaurants/bars right on Main Street and its a quick trip to the stadium- ten minutes.
Lastly- people mention Chippewa- stay away unless your idea of a good time is getting mugged. Hit Elmwood strip or Hertel Ave if staying in the city.

I'm going to the Raiders game for my annual trip back this year. Pretty small group this year. I usually stay at the Marriott in Amherst, but we're toying with the idea of staying downtown. Anyone have personal preferences that they'd like share? Thank you!

Totally a results driven business but the results are different for fans and the bottom line for the teams. They both have products that keep us at the table. When New England performs like the Bills the stadium will be empty like it was before Parcels went there. We keep coming, regardless. Does it say more about us than it does about the owners, I don't know.
Either way, this thread just makes me think of the Ryans and pisses me off.
