I just hope it's as durable as the iPhone 4....you guys would not believe what mine has been through lately. I have an Otterbox Defender case that I love, but the other day I dropped it in the bathtub...full immersion! It's also taken a few big "thuds" lately cause I had it out of the case and forgot how slippery the damn thing is...it's fallen off the breakfast bar and landed smack on the tile flooring twice, and not even a scratch. The defender isn't water proof, so all the mics, speakers, and switch openings were exposed.
I was really scared I killed the iPhone, but it's as good as new! I have no desire to upgrade...unless at some point I really do kill it. Any mortal phone would have succumbed by now.
Guy I was on a job with ran his over with an excavator. Just cracked the back glass. Phone still works.

Mmmmmmm, ELK! Coming to our freezer soon.
Ha, I don't know about that. But I'm looking to score some before the games at his RV.

My biggest concern is safety. There's going to be full trees that you can't see through and now I'm going to have to wear orange during bow season so that I don't get shot by some inexperienced kid. Obviously there are parents who do it the right way and take their kids out hunting and show them the ropes, but there are ones who will just take them out, not explain anything, and let them shoot at the first thing that moves. Not to mention the parents who are just going to shoot the deer and throw it on their kids' tags. I'm curious as to how many DEC check stations will be out and running, but doing that would just admit that there's an issue with this youth hunt process.
-
I am pumped, my 14 is also excited to get an early chance at tagging one.
Why are you pumped? I personally don't like it because it's going to kill the rest of bow season right off the bat. The deer are going to go nocturnal and bed down all day earlier than usual (before rut even starts).

So to sum up, for one weekend, parents can take their kids out hunting and get 1 deer, no matter the sex, anyway possible? Is that right?
Kids can use either a doe tag or a regular gun season tag.

Junior Hunter Mentoring Program
Youth Firearms Deer Hunt
14-15 Year Old Junior Hunters can hunt Deer with a Firearm over the 3-day Columbus Day weekend
Resident and non-resident Junior Hunting license holders may take 1 deer with a firearm during the youth deer hunt.
Junior hunters may use a Deer Management Permit (antlerless-only), Deer Management Assistance Program tag (antlerless-only), or a regular season tag. During the youth deer hunt, junior hunters may use the regular season tag for a deer of either-sex.
The youth deer hunt will occur in both the Northern Zone and Southern Zone, except in bowhunting only areas and Suffolk County.
During the youth deer hunt, mentors may not carry a firearm, crossbow, or bow to pursue deer.
Junior Hunters may also use a crossbow during the youth deer hunt.
Rules for 14-15 year old Junior Hunters and their mentors outlined below, including blaze orange requirements, also apply during the youth deer hunt.

Tell me again how this solves their O-Line woes? We could definitely be looking at a 1-3 Pats team after their game against Buffalo (hopefully).
-
Great news for the Bills. There are a bunch of teams in the AFC who now have a loss from a non-conference team. Hopefully the Bills can at least go 2-2 against the NFC West (which is no slouch anymore). However, it still is the conference games, especially divisional games, that are the most important. Winning those conference games will go a long way to putting us in a better position for a wild card spot through tie breakers (if necessary).

Figured I'd update this for ya Kettle so you don't go looking for him. Unfortunately Jim won't be at the game, he's out west hunting.
-
Yep, between the field house and the stadium. Massive RV, lots of good and beer. I'll probably be there before the Pats game if I can get tickets.

Talk time is nearly over.
Production time is close at hand.
Show us the baby, Shawne.
Uh, 6-8-6?

A smart O/U would have been at least 7 1/2. Definitely an OVER on this one.

Not only did she lie about it, but her family sued the school district and got a $1.5 million payout. She should go up on charges for fraud too.
I hope the kid gets some sort of chance somewhere.

I agree: the reason you don't see punters and kickers on practice squads normally is that there are not 32 good punters and 32 good kicker sin the league
If someone is talented enough to catch a coach's eye for the PS, he is likely talented enough to go play for another team right away
It would be no use to put him on the PS honestly. Another team with punter issues will just pluck him off of it.

Probably waited for the picks to get signed around him. IIRC, the only thing the rookie wage scale doesn't decide for you is the guaranteed money? Bills probably wanted to see what guaranteed money was going out to those players picked around Gilmore.
-
I do not see Special Teams being the deciding factor for these two guys. I think Choice's experience gives him the advantage over White.
Unless White really makes a statement in camp and preseason, I don't see him making the active roster.
I agree, we have plenty of Special Teamers with the recent draft picks that I don't think this battle will come down to who can play ST.

I would like to extend the thank you to kabnt2005 into this thread. I appreciate you sharing your information with us even when you take some abuse about it's legitimacy. Thanks for sharing, keep it coming.
+1
I'm glad those privy to inside info aren't afraid to share despite the mockery
I too would like to extend an atta boy to him. I wanted him to prove himself and at least on this occasion, he did.
Thanks all. I'll share what I can when I hear of things going down.
And Fan in Chicago, if you look back at the Mario Williams signing, I was calling the Bills going after Williams and Meachem before free agency started and got ripped on for that too.

Edwards played some 4-3 DT and 3-4 DE in Baltimore. He can give them some versatility. We can send them Spencer too. Both are $4m cap hits.
-
Can the Bills trade them Dwan Edwards and unload his $4m cap hit for a 3rd or 4th rounder please?
-
Hey, if I hear it I share it.
I've been told by a few fellow posters on another message board to slap the **** out of all of you.
Thanks to those who don't rip on the little guy and everyone over at SF.

IN kabnt2005 WE TRUST!!!!
If this is a done deal, consider my humblest public apology, kabnt2005.

I deleted it because I was told by my source to keep my head down on it. Take that for what it's worth, but I wouldn't be told that if I was making **** up.
Patience is a virtue. If you really want to know the details, you can PM me. But I was told to stay low on this out in public forums.

Heat pressed right on behind stage. Nike had a machine there set up. They just had the name plates for each player ready to go.

Also, what's the point of pre-ordering my iPhone 5 at Verizon if they're just going to ship it to me at my house and I won't have it today even though they will in the store?
