  1. I hope the guy is OK, but please stop with the "he is the greatest" comments. If you were unlucky enough to run into "Jimbo" at a bar in his playing days you would realize how much of a jerk he was. His post career has been a complete mess. Take a look at the success of other past QBs that were his contemporaries. Obviously Marino and Elway had more brains than Jimbo. His whole ownership thing with the Bills is a complete joke. Hope the best for his health, but please just fade away and find something to do other than the Bills. Bruce Smith did it right-just go away.

How is Marino a success post-career? Because he's an analyst on CBS? So is Shannon Sharpe, so that argument works against you. Jim's family issues with Hunter's illness put things in perspective. There are more important things than football. He's a big charity and community supporter and enjoys his life away from the field while still supporting his team on Sundays. He's a lot of fun to hang out with if you ever get a chance, he just would prefer to not get swarmed in public.

  2. It was definitely bizarre seeing all the Giants signage up in the parking lots and at the store, but the Bills logo still being visible pretty much elsewhere. The only things covered up are the store, midfield logo, padded wall along the field, and the tunnel endzone. They're only going to be shooting probably 10 or so different plays for the film. Got some photos of us in front of all the "players" during their run-throughs on Sunday.

  3. Just curious, what kind of truck does he drive? He doesn't strike me as a truck guy.

Either way it's nice to hear that he's in there working. I am not worried at all about his production. I just hope he can stay healthy.

Range Rover, some wouldn't call it a "truck" I guess.

You see, Steinbrenner is like the first guy in, at the crack of dawn. He sees my car, he figures I'm the first guy in. Then, the last person to leave is Wilhelm. He sees my car, he figures I'm burning the midnight oil. Between the two of them, they think I'm working an 18-hour day!

We'll see if spiller's car is littered with flyers and pigeon poop in a few days...

Or on blocks with the tires off.

Hahaha, well his truck was gone both days before I left at like 5:00, so no dice on that one. Great episode though...

Do you know if they have contacted the people who went out to be extra's in the movie yet?

I'm assuming so because they are supposed to start filming today. Rain is probably going to hamper that, but they're supposed to be here filming all week.

  4. I can't speak to who else was or was not there. The parking lot wasn't that full. Spiller's truck was the only one that I recognized and I saw him in the player tunnel personally. He was definitely suited up for working out and such, actually had the jersey pants on and was bringing weights back down to the field "track".

  5. So I was at the stadium all weekend doing work in preparation for the movie being shot there this week. First thing I see when I pull in Saturday at 8:30 is Spiller's truck. He was there past 2:00. Same thing Sunday. And this was a holiday weekend that the team has off to boot. This is something of the usual for him this off-season. The guy seems to be putting in some serious training time looking to build on his breakout season last year.

Just thought someone would like to hear this bit of information.
