Close to a deal does nothing for me. We were close to that ball not sailing right. We were close to Brett Hulls foot not being in the crease. We were close to making a tackle on homerun throwback. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and transvestites. I want a deal!

The Whether has been damn near perfect, and when you are recruiting in that moment whether plays a huge factor. They were speaking to sports agents and said how players hate going into cities during FA's when the whether is horrible...its makes them want to pack their bags right after the meeting....

1.Steve wanted to be here(DIDN'T NEED TO CONVINCE HIM)
2.During the season he said he wanted 7 mil per (NEVER ACTED LIKE A DIVA ...see Deshawn jackson and Vince jackson last year.
3.He chose not to explore Free-Agency when many thought he'd be gone (LOYALTY)
4.He earns 8 million over his first 3 years, he gets a good amount per-year up front, and if his production drops off over time he becauses easier to move.(Didnt wait to see what other WR's got)

Even if you don't land Mario Williams it makes a statement that we want to win and we are willing to pay the cost...that's makes an impact to every other free agent we are going to purpose

Overrated would have been a waste of 4-5 mil..... meachem(although not my first pick) will get 7 mil... and give us room to still operate

If we are able to sign Williams and Meachem then I think we go LT at #10. If Bell were somehow to come back, then that would change everything again. Left tackle with our first pick.
If we sign those players...(although I'm not big on Meachem) ..... you have to either go OL or corner or Kuechly(has a lot of Ray Lewis in him)

Without the beard he looks like someone that wears sneakers,dress socks, and checker shorts in public!
How long does he keep the beard?
He keeps it during the season with an option to opt out?
He gets rid of it before the season starts...?
Personally I hope it keeps it...
