  1. Sorry GBID what she does for a living is much more important than wouldya? Poor taste.

    & get off my lawn!

Are you putting him on report? BTW, I filed a formal complaint to you about two other members. I expect firm and immediate action from you as a moderator.

    And yes I would.

  2.

Oh, you did it. Beerball doesn't mess around with these things. His research is painstaking and infallible. My only question is why did you pick such a cheesy alias for your golf crimes? "Richard Ponds?" That's pretty ridiculous. Shame on you.

I'm filing a complaint about this harassment. Beerball, please put him on report... :D

    Right on Richard...

    And this chucklehead as well!

  3. I'm in agreement with everyone else that's responded. I think this is going to be very lopsided results. The lack of awareness and abundance of self-centeredness sadly doesn't shock me anymore. Inside Edition really amped up the drama in their narrative though! "a heartbreaking drama..." "... leaving their three children on board."

  4. yes and no, look at how those guys reacted and you realize it's not all doom, the world is still good, the bad is the exception, not the rule. But yeah, the bad is really, really bad

I came away with the same feeling. If anything the uncomfortable feelings the guys had, put some faith back in my fellow men. I like to think I would have reaction they did reading those tweets.

Mead, CornerBlitz, TakeYoutoTasker said it best right up there ^^^^^^^. That really was uncomfortable to watch.

Still vividly remember the one time she had a minor mishap. She used to put the snails in a large pot filled 1/2 with water and let them cleanse overnight. This one time she forgot to put the lid on the pot. I remember walking into her kitchen the next day and snails were everywhere, on the floor, on the walls, on the ceiling...

    Edited for accuracy and truthery:

"This one time, because I was an ornery little $#%* I took the lid off the pot after she went to bed."

If it wasn't for the dumbest teenagers in the galaxy however, things would go a lot smoother.

Exactly!!! I think Andrea or Lori led the league in bad decisions on the old show, but these kids are on a Barry Bonds like pace to shatter that record. Stay on the boat, leaves the boat, stay in sight of each other, roams around willy-nilly like the kids from Family Circus.

  7.

The new "stay in the house Carl" meme is going to be "get off the radio Alicia"

Guess I was wrong about that one too. It's more like "stay on the boat children."

When Strand cut the line that was tied to the raft, I looked at my wife and said ala' Rick James, "Cooooooold Blooded!" That's probably not the last we see of the girl in the raft.

I don't think Strand's lying about the house per se, but I think the role everyone else is intended to play at this "safe house" may be misrepresented intentionally. The show is stringing me along... barely. I'll continue to follow, but as stated above as long as it continues to develop and doesn't give us a run of shows like they did with Herschel's farm. I can't suffer through another one of those runs.

I must have my wings crispy, and the only way I enjoy them any more is with the hot sauce on the side.

Came here for this and was not disappointed.

If offered, I pay the extra $1-2 to get all flats.

    This....

And as stated before so many places outside of WNY get it so horribly wrong with rubbery soggy-assed wings or they sauce 'em and then flash fry 'em again leaving the wing dry and salty tasting. Rubbish.

  9. Roy Rogers never met a man he didn't like. He also never met Just Jack or DC Tom. Coincidence?

I can't say as I've ever eaten at a Roy Rogers or his cousin Kenny's either. But, one thing I can promise you, if they put one up in Denver or Colorado Springs, people will line up like they're giving away free government cheese! I've seen it repeatedly here for Taco Bueno, Jack in the Box, when Sonic started franchising out here... it's a phenomenon I can't understand.

Also not sure if there is a more imasculated male character on TV then ol' Cliffy.

Sorry it wasn't Cliff, I meant Travis. That dude needs to sack up soon. I thought last night's episode gave me hope that this series will grow some legs and start to take off. I'm thinking Strand is some kind of "double agent" type guy. I feel like he might be a recruiter or head-hunter for some bigger entity or group (ala' Woodburians, Termites, Negans hoard) and he's bringing the main characters to some other group to serve as underlings of some sort.

Side note: I read a recent interview with Marcia Clark (who I have always liked), and she said something pretty interesting about Robert Kardashian. She said that she could tell, early on the trial, that he had real doubts about OJ, and she had total empathy for him. She also said, she ran in to him about 3 times, after the trial, and before his death, and each time, he was incredibly cordial toward her...almost like he wanted to say "I am so sorry", without saying it.

I read that somewhere too Buftex and I walked away feeling the same way. Schwimmer I thought did a good job as well and he actually channeled that "I'm sorry" sentiment in his portrayal in the last couple episodes. That said, Schwimmer seems to be typecast as the sympathetic victim of circumstance guy quite a bit.

I wish they just got on my lawn. I'm not sure how I'd react if I got stuck behind this crap. I'm a very impatient person to begin with when I drive and I have less patience for dumbassery. Good thing I don't have concealed carry otherwise someone's getting in big trouble.

I'm very much the same sometimes to my own detriment. There's many times throughout the year that I point out my boss's dumbassery to her and express my lack of tolerance for it.

As far as driving patience goes, just this morning, I took a route to work that was obviously longer and took me way out of the way, but at least I was still in motion, versus sitting through six or seven light cycles at the upcoming intersection.

(I better watch out, this could turn into a pet peeves thread).
