I'd be cheering
I'd cheer if the Bills take any of the top 3 OT's and move Glenn to RT or guard. Or if they take Cordarelle Patterson, or OG Chance Warmack to replace Levitre. Any one of those 3 OT's and Warmack are just about can't miss picks,
A decent QB can be had in the 2nd round, and there are good free agents LBers out there this year.
:worthy: :worthy:The Bills are taking a QB in the first round - No exceptions!!!!!!

Personally I wouldn't mind if Dee Milliner-CB/BAMA fell to us and we took him with the 8th pick! Dude is a lock down corner! It would remind me of theI would pay to see his reaction when they pick the corner from Alabama 8th. I do believe he likes Bama though so it might not be a full out explosion.
Clements/Winfield Days ! Gillmore/Milliner Duo ! Sounds good to me ! Go BILLS !
I AGREE !I agree stashing Sanders looks like a sly move.
I really think that kid has a super High Ceiling can't wait to see. He will likely have every opportunity to compete and win the starting RT spot.

Im rejoicing due to how wrong McShay usually is.
I will say he nailed Jimmy Clausen. A lot of draft experts here loved Clausen.

McShay 3.0 - Buffalo Bills Select - OT Eric Fisher /Central Michigan 6'-7"/306

:lol:LB problem solved!

Yes I think we are in full rebuilding mode. If the writings on the wall are correct, Nix is retiring after the draft and Whaley is taking over. Its very possible that behind the scemes, Whaley is already in charge and Nix is just hanging around for the draft. Im hoping these moves are at his direction and not at Russ Brandons
I think there is a good chance we bottom out this year. I'd love me some Clowney. But Manzeil was a true freshman this year (Im pretty sure) and would have to stay in school for another year, so he isn't elligible for next yrs draft.
-
We can't afford him.
-
Can't believe he's only 28 y/o.
Disappointing. I was hoping we'd bring him back as a rotating DE. Wouldve liked to see what he could do in whatever attacking hybrid Pettine will be running. Liked the intensity he brought to the Defense as a whole.
-
Damn. I would've liked to seen one healthy season out of him.
-
Funny, I had the opposite takeaway. IMO, KC saved the Bills from themselves, just as SD did last year with Robert 'Total Bum' Meachem.
-
especially since There 2 rd pick this year is the 1st pick of rd 2 !For 2 second round picks, I am glad the Bills lost out.
-
We do not have a 7th round pick. And I just don't see Nassib falling to 3rd which would mean past most of the QB needy teams 3x before we can get him.
-
Unfortunately, the club is handcuffed this year by the guaranteed money given to Fitz.
But I agree with you; cut him and move on.
The numbers don't matter. Fitz is a loser. Start fresh with someone (anyone) else.

this team was 2-3 poor fitzpatrick decisions away from 8-8 last year, and sprinkle in 2 key INT drops from Wilson, and they easily finish the season at 9-7. I can't see them absolutely tanking, not with a much better coaching staff in place on defense.

No link, just got the message on my phone.
OMG yes!!! Finally. Been waiting for this since we signed him to an extension and let Greer walk.
-
i wouldn't say freshman year but I could get behind this a little bit. Maybe 6th grade or something like that.
-
:censored:NY Assemblyman Michael Benedetto dropped a bill that would do just that. Likely wouldn't pass, but if it did, it would have a big effect on skills development, IMO, as well as parental rights.
Seriously--is there anyone here who thinks this is sane?

I would love to see this happen !I noticed some college draft guys had Aaron Williams playing safety in the NFL when they were analyzing him for the mock drafts two years ago.
I have always wondered about that myself. The dude is a great hitter, he just struggles in coverage.
Searcy will likely be our starting SS this season now that Wilson is gone, and obviously Byrd will be the free safety if he's retained, but what about putting a few pounds of muscle on Aaron (he's listed at 200lb) and getting him in a position to backup at either FS or SS?
Gilmore, Rogers, Brooks and Mckelvin likely start at corner next year anyway. I'd like to see us utilize Williams better, he was an absolute stud in college. Maybe we just put him in the wrong position from the beginning.

You've got to filter that knowing that a DC was speaking about current players, but...you get a feel.
Good work by Graham in pulling this together (or the intern he assigned this to). It's actually useful.
-
Blasphemy!!! Our team would have been in the playoffs the last two seasons if we had taken Dalton instead of Aaron Williams.

Aaron Maybin 2.0

The game of qb chicken on draft night is going to be fascinating. When does the first one go and when does the run start. Big risk , do you are one at 8. Then if you pass do you wait until the second round. Remember we are behind the jets in round 2, or do they try to trade back into round one costing at least a two and a three. Going to be one wild ride

i agree i posted the same QB suggestion like 2 or 3 weeks ago !Do we really need a new version of this thread every day?
this was already posted ! Research topics before you post !Wilson and Nassib Possibly?
Thanks !
