I’m okay with fans or ex-players reading picks. It’s them getting up and making a damn speech or whatever that’s annoying. Just read the pick. I got stuff to do

The clock starts for the next draft pick once the team picking turns in their card. Whatever is said, speech, no speech, whatever, doesn’t add to or speed up the draft process. You’ll still get your stuff done as you see fit 🤪

While I don’t agree with the last sentence… it’s an all time risky trade.

if worthy pans out that we gave them mahomes and worthy is a blistering narrative - the type of which will be repeated a million times and define this era

if Josh gets hurt playing hero ball it really becomes something. Hopefully we land a couple pieces and feel better fast.

I have to assume they have like 3 guys graded similarly and are all good sliding til 1-2 get picked and I like that philosophy but if we are tied to kc getting a star it becomes not a little flub but something that changes this groups identity and that won’t be worth the picks to try to overcome

This. Having a history of “giving” Mahomes to KC, unable to beat them in the playoffs, makes KC a team you just don’t do business with. Doesn’t matter what draft grades you have, who you think they’ll take, whatever. You just don’t do it. Reid will scheme a Worthy special in the playoffs and we’ll hear it over and over.

I hate this. I don't necessarily hate that Brady got the job. But I hate that the team didn't even attempt to complete a full and exhaustive search. We're just running it back. McDermott loves playing it safe. It's what holds him back as a coach more than anything.

We don’t necessarily know if they did or didn’t. They may have reached out and were declined. We only know who they actually interviewed.

Seeing Brady took over in less than ideal circumstances, he put his offense in position to score big on the AFC Champions, and was consistent that way against many others, I’m excited about Brady getting a full offseason to get the Offense ready for next year.

He'll do well in FA. Much better than he'd do with the Bills offer. He is this year's Edmunds.

Good for him. I hope he goes and gets paid well somewhere else.

    Moving on.

Same here. He gave us some

good moments, also the tough ones. But I hope the best for him.

Like I've said in other threads. These were the last 3 plays once we got it down to the 28 yard line

    1st down - Cook 1 yard run

    *2 minute warning*

2nd down - incomplete to Shakir

3rd down - incomplete to nobody really

Not running the ball with Allen on any of those 3 plays was a mistake. You could have made for a shorter field goal while also taking time off the clock or forcing KC to use timeouts. You could have picked up a first down and drained the clock further. You could have made it a manageable 4th down. Whether it's Brady not calling a designed run or Allen just not taking off, I just don't understand not letting your best player make a play using his legs which the Chiefs hadn't stopped all game.

I agree with you. Bass still sucked this season.

  6. Should’ve been in four down mode, not going for the TD.

That said, Bass has been shaky all year. Zero confidence in him during “gotta have it” kicks. And that was BEFORE the playoffs.

After the playoffs, barring some undisclosed injury that impacted, I don’t see him making the much needed kicks.

Well .. take Brady out if the equation… who isn’t coming with Bill and I will say again … I dont want BB anywhere near Josh Allen

I DO NOT WANT BELICHICK. All I‘m saying is that anyone  pointing out his record without Brady is failing to acknowledge he would have Allen (which is far greater than any other QB he has had, aside from Brady). Belichick had NOT a single quality starter (please don’t say Bledsoe).

If you need to tell yourself that

I mean, it’s reality. Allen is a future Hall of Famer. I don’t need to convince myself or anyone else.

I haven’t mentioned Brady once during t this conversation

You responded to my comment that was about Belichick/Brady etc.

I’ll make it very simple then…

I think it would be a negative for the Bills for him to be the coach

Let me make it simple. I’m not for hiring Belichick. However, the comment of Belichick outside of Brady is dumb, he hasn’t had another worthy QB. If in Buffalo he would have Josh Allen.

Belichick has been terrible last few years … wouldn’t want him anywhere near  this team .. imagine him telling JA to “ do his job “ when he does something off script he doesn’t like?

You don’t  understand what I said.

People actually entertaining this seriously as an “upgrade “..

    WTF?

I’m not, but I don’t like the, “What has Belichick done outside of Brady talk.”

I will only say to that, Belichick would have Josh Allen, not the long the line of poor QBs he coached with.

Allen deserves more. Best QB on the field tonight, again. Team still loses.

It's not Brady. It wouldn't matter

    Yes it would.

Not a huge BB guy at this point but if there's one thing I do know it's this..

They win this game if he was the coach as he would actually have an answer for the chiefs "average" offence that McDermott made look elite again

Even with a LB that was in Charlotte packing his camper for a family vacation like two weeks ago, another LB with a bum shoulder, and another that is still very raw? Or how about Douglas that could barely move tonight? Two aging safeties? Too many injuries. Losing Benard was the final death nail.

na, he's overrated.  He is awful outside of Brady.

Would rather have Harbaugh (sign stealing is legal in the NFL!).

Would also rather have Lions, Ravens, or Houston OC.

He would have Josh Allen. Not the washouts he’s had beside Brady.

I hear ya. I am right there with you. I think the Chiefs are a team who knows success and have tasted victory enough to not have the hunger of the Bills. But with that comes experience, focus, attention.

And I think we’re good there, too. Bills are only showing experience, focus, attention. Dialed in, Go Bills.

They are much better than when we played them a couple years ago

The run game took over, the Texans had their chances, they blew it. For a good portion, Lamar Jackson looked rattled, not comfortable. It can be done.

Tell that to the chiefs. I'm looking at it from their seat. You know, the one at the kiddy table with their dwarf QB Kermit

To the Chiefs? The team that has played in more big games and won multiple Super Bowls, is going to be so incited that it matters? No way, they’ve had six games since then, it’s a blip. Buffalo is going to explode with energy tomorrow, Bills win.

The AFC may not fair well. The AFC is gonna beat the ***** out of each other the next 2 games

KC is a playoff team who will not lay down without fighting. The first game probably still still on their minds and thinking they got robbed and are owed something. They will be out to prove themselves.

Whoever wins this game has to go to Baltimore. The crows in Baltimore are tough. They have an overlooked defense that doesn't break and barely bends. The defense in Baltimore will be at up on the likes of old man Kelce and other chiefs players. By comparison we are a much older team and they won't be kind to the Bills offense.

By the time the AFC gets to the Super bowl they will be playing teams that haven't been tested as much as the AFC and probably be a lot more fresh.

What the Bills have in terms of proving themselves, against the Chiefs, at home, after the last four seasons, AFC Championship Game, 13 Seconds, etc., absolutely dwarfs the Chiefs and Toney being flagged Offside. It’s not even a blip in comparing the two.

Happened to us vs bengals in the playoffs last year too…bengals fans were nervous about the ref assignment and they destroyed us lol

Playoff games are called differently, all of America is watching. Especially this game. The viewership/ratings will be sky high. Allen is gonna go off.

    Shawn Holculi is officiating.

Not to make excuses in advance, but Buffalo now needs to play well enough to beat them by two scores in order to get out with a win.

If the NFL has any integrity, they would pull Hochuli from this game.

Before the Cowboys game many spoke on the record of the Cowboys going into that game with said ref, undefeated. How did that play out?

Also, it’s not the entire Hochuli crew, it’s him and others. Relax.
