  1. and Bishop trial by small fire (patriots( works for me Ingram as well
  2. It was a response to "raw potential " as you know. But I always go back to Coaching regardless. Maybe he had the nerves today ? Has he started before this week ? I read FNL and and laughed for all the wrong reasons WEO FNFL is what i saw somehow
  3. D line so far is the issue. Back seven would look great with a strong four up front I might guarantee. Today was a glimpse of what we want form the D line against a gimped up Jets. Buts that the week to week goal. Back seven+1 shined Well. That does it then. Game over The next question is for you Snappy. please How do we feel about our Dline and LBs Coaching this year ? Players , Coaching , injuries ??? All of the above .
  4. Thank you so much for the highlights ! Love This Team ! Go Bills
  5. Mods My apologies to you for a poor effort with my most feeble attempt lol But thanks to all ya good folks for commenting. I appreciate you. Go ahead and kill it ...
  6. Be interesting to consider who on the Bills etc makes the jump second and or third years. It's a Coaching thing. We have discussed here much about McD brings them along slowly. Whether true or not I think this Bills Team has had some slow learners playing pretty well second and third year. And some 4th year players might be hard to keep This. each bit Next week some more Ingram and less Benford
  7. Have hope Roundy. Gotta get the game exp when playing in this defense it seems. Lotta shifts/ changes occur before the ball is snapped. Handing off coverage was a weaker point today. Miscommunication ? Thats what the youth needs to get under the belt regardless of position generally speaking. its fast and not college speed Oh thank you Aussie ! I was worried you had gone to the dark side lol
  8. My counter to that is Today was the perfect opportunity to get him some tape to work off of. Sure did not expect a bad day so much as a learning day. Thats okay though. He's young and McD runs a complicated defense that needs strong communication pre snap to adjust Only get that from live fire. Today was the day against jests whom defense just obliterated. Next week too
  9. tightly wound ? as in anxious and overthinking ? Good point about a reset with Addae . Under realized shift in the secondary Coaching. Thanks
  10. well not really my intent. He seem heavier and a two tech by description. It has been discussed , even today by Romo during the game , how light the Bills D plays up front. Even LB by my account. Wonder if he is on the radar of Beanes or anyone at this point Bills do like early rounders who have not been their best in their respective situations. Is he a McD type though ? PS for Mathis Jefferson is a prime example as to why to upgrade the rotation ! TY
  11. Commanders are a wip after Snyder. Might be awhile I see no reason to announce this to the feds
  12. Too late. Epic fail. I feel a ban hammer coming I have to log off for a bit. Feel free to post up as many burns as is appropriate. BTW i really would look forward to some honest opinions about this Kid. I dont follow college ball till near Draft. And is Washington going to bring him back , the handshake deal ?
  13. To be sure and agreed in todays NFL and to win the SB even I was not the one to describe our D line as such. But even by eye test They get pushed a bit more often out of the play in the run game than I would prefer. Probably a combination of design players and by now , injuries
  14. Mine Does it fit Bills need though ? he's 313 or so can he just manage that A -B gap. Is D Jones going to ? Where did you have him in the draft sim ?
  15. Dont make me wiki his as for you The Commanders have cut ties to another early-round draft pick from their previous regime. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that they waived defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis on Saturday. Mathis was a second-round pick in 2022 and the Commanders have also parted ways with 2023 first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes and 2022 first-round pick Jahan Dotson in recent months. The move may be a precursor to activating one of the few top picks from the past who remains with the team. Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen was a full participant in practice this week as he works his way back from a pectoral injury. Mathis had 25 tackles, a pass defensed, and a fumble recovery in 23 games for Washington. PFT
  16. Has a back story McD goes for. Commanders released this former 1st rounder today. and the refresh theory applies. New Coaching and environment might turn a 1st rounder into something useful. Which we seem to need ? I think worth a tire check
  17. looked into him a bit. Seems he was released. two gapper Released by Commanders Former early draft pick a few years ago.
  18. Espeneza ? Beane finds money This is a good point if all true Little late to call a mulligan Joe . Just own it. work harder LOLd thank you Love House btw Dont they have a for real RB too ? Glory hole guy in Burrow ?
  19. I wondered about this whole Fast defense concept. If you have lite LBs and a lite heavy nickels ? You sure might do well do have a front that can fill the a-b gaps at least. And push the center for pressures
  20. Good post Coach. Get back to controlling the line of scrimmage between the guards. Whether pushing or penetrating. Let the quick side to side LB make plays off the Tackles. Thats the design with Milano and Bernard. Light and fast angles to the sideline
  21. Thank for the responding note Good post too. Anyone who has hope for Elam is swimming against the tide of looking at him , and fairly so, as the 1st round pick. One of biggest questions about Kair is not about him. Coaching. WTH is going on ? The obvious is why cant they develop him by now. The second one for me is Why have they kept him this long , and mostly off the field. These are both mysteries for me. I have bias in wanting to see him "get it" or The light comes on type of thing. Go Bills
  22. I do apologize to have triggered you ! And I feel ya. Elam need to be better ball aware. He seems to be watching the Rec movements for the trigger to turn back to the ball. But he isn't there. And thats no good at all. Buffalo Coach told Leodis to " Be the receiver and look for the ball like its yours all along " He improved. If you dont have that awareness when running full gallop in trail . You cant play CB. Maybe deep saftey lol
  23. Very Zen perspective 2001. Thinking same. Let er rip Josh. Coop go get ball. Seems it might be about time ? for few show me plays from him. Gimme one solid Allen to Amari post deep completion against the jest. please. At this rate of production it's simple as that. draft his Type though
