Pick up Nate Washington. Start sproles over henderson IMO. Chandler over Fred Davis (I have both of them too!)
Washington was claimed by someone 1 waiver order ahead of me, I grabbed torrey afterwards >.<
I'm a little wary of henderson after lance moore came back...I have Marques Colston so it becomes a non-issue once collarbone is healed.

Ok soooo, I recently managed to pull off a nice trade getting myself Larry Fitzgerald and Steven Jackson...
As is my lineup is:
Phil Rivers (bastard blew on Sunday)
Andre Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
Freddie J
Steven Jackson
Scott Chandler (Had A. Hernandez)
and Darren Sproles as meh Flex....
Here's the twenty million dollar question... should I make any changes?
BN has:
Devery Henderson
Torrey Smith
Malcolm Floyd
Fred Davis...
With Steven Jackson supposedly a full go I will probably go with the roster above....I've been debating things with my brother and want some outside opinions...
Please and thank ya

Number 1 back currently. With between 5-7 less carries the the backs immediately below him...
Pay the man, for the love of gawd.

I'm liking the existence of a pass rush

Dunno specifics yet

How funny would it be if they run the Wildcat and Smith throws the long ball to Fitz for a TD...
I might die laughing.
Pure BS as it won't happen but still.

Moats looked like he's starting to feel a bit more comfortable with the ILB position. I saw him in on a few run plays.
Batten looked even better. I want to temper my enthusiasm but he's regaining that 2010 training camp form he had before the injury.
I just heard Paul Hamilton on the radio and he reminded me of something regarding Jasper. During the drills where you run around the dummies and finish off tackling the last one, Jasper would do the drill and just KILL the last one by landing on it with full force or just smash it as hard as he could. This often caused some laughter and "Oooohs" from the crowd. Not sure if this was for show or Jasper going all out on drills.
And thanks again for the comments, I'll be attending a bunch more so I'll post more reports whenever I go.
It's incredibly hard not to root for this guy. Unlike years past this guy has drive, has a decent head on his shoulders, and is trying not to squander an oppurtunity.
Man-crush indeed.

Never heard a more counterproductive interview...
When asked about Poz: It wasn't the money.
When asked about perception about Buffalo: Ignored the question about others, laughed, said he wouldn't consider that personally.
When asked about adding through FA: He feels people internally can step up to replace Poz.
I actually stopped listening cause the guy just sounded like he didn't care, and while I wouldn't expect him to go into his "plans" going forward...The interview itself was kind of infuriating.
It's on Wgr550.com if you wanna listen.

Gotta love the guys honesty....even if it's gonna get him in trouble.
That’s blown way out of proportion,” Johnson said of the controversy surrounding Bush, per NFL.com. “There is not one NFL player who hasn’t enjoyed [time off during] the lockout. I’m just being straight up honest.”

Stupidly excited, Stupid Excited, Excited and stupid...I really don't care.
This team has given me a reason to look forward to Sundays again. It's like watching an "underdog" football movie every sunday...cept...Shane "footsteps" Fitzfalco didn't throw a game winning touchdown.

If a guy like Warner can admit questioning God, maybe some of the holier than thou people can as well.
+1 to Mr. Kurt Warner

I'm fairly certain that this entire thread is about more self-gratification then anything else.
Look, receivers have bad days. QBs have bad days. Defenses have bad days. Things happen, the guy was unfocussed for one reason or another and it cost the game, ok I understand the gripe on that.
What I can't condone is to crucify a guy who after his FIRST year really starting, is dominating the rest of the team on numbers. The guy has played 10 damn near drop-less games. He has 9 TDs. He had 3 TDs last week alone.
He dropped a number today...It never ever surprises me how quickly people will turn on someone. Last week, the guy did his "Why so serious" stunt, caught 3 TD passes and people are singing his praises. The week before he had another 100+ yard game with at least a TD. These numbers are pretty consistant for the last 5 games. Today he drops a few passes, yes yes game-losing blah blah, and the guy is the anti-christ.
I can understand peoples feelings on losing a game. I can understand their feelings towards a person for costing them one. But the level of condemnation these boards has shown towards this kid, ESPECIALLY with the level of remorse he obviously has, just goes to show how judgementally brutal people are.
Stevie - shake it off, catch a TD or two next week, and the masses will be singing your praises once more.

I have major respect for a guy who can come out, take the blame for a loss, and actually *show* that it's not just another drop for him.
Watching his conference I actually felt for the guy.
As for his twitter, every religious person knows that there are times when you just lose it and ask "Why?" It is unfortunate that he felt he had to tweet these feelings rather then keep them private however.
