But to demonize the NFL over this? Hah! Where do you think Bell would be if it wasn't for the NFL? He'd probably be bagging groceries like someone mentioned and he be arguing over a 75 cent/hr raise at the end of the year.

I don't think anyone is Demonizing the Steelers or the NFL. But you clearly are minimizing the players based on what they do for a living based on their compensation.

Whether he's "Bagging groceries" or shooting for the top RB contract, a person is wise to go for the best monetary situation they can. If they don't, they are doing a disservice to themselves, and  in this case anyone else who may come after them in a similar position.

That being said, this comment is ridiculous. Did you know he has a degree from Michigan State? Did you know he's actually somewhat accomplished in the music industry (even though I'm not a fan of that music lol) How about you?

Says the only one in this conversation who is cursing like an idiot. You act just like the guy you adore. The moron in office. If you had any common sense, this simple conversation wouldn't boggle your mind. You can't be that stupid, can you?

See my previous post - Supporters of the Raging Tangerine in Office aren't typically "Stupid" just willfully ignorant.

Awwwww.....President Trump has hurt your little feelings.

    Too !@#$ing bad.

The Irony in this post is amazing. Considering your buddy has the thinnest skin of any spray-tanned non-billionaire to utter non-syllables. Anyone who cannot objectively look at him and say he's not a disrespectful dredge on not only the office he serves...but also that hes not a pathological liar who will claim credit for things he just heard of, or promise things he forgets 5 mins later....is blinded by either partisanship or just plain foolishness.

I hope I didn't hurt your little feelings

  4. This is depressing. I am depressed. I should go find a table to backflip through... isn't that.....isn't that how bills fans cope? Deadspin told me so.....

On topic WGR has always been a hotbed of finding things to whine about regardless of whether the outcome is positive. Run for 100 yards? Well Tyrod didn't throw for over 200 again.... Tyrod throws 2 TDs and runs in for one more? Well the Defense let too much yardage up.... Bills win 21-12 and stifle the Jets in almost every way? Well we still can't believe they are good and how about that playcalling?

Frankly everything on this team CAN be better, they are right. Tyrod is not the best answer at QB. Dennison has called some piss-poor plays at important times. The Defense has looked like crap the last 3 weeks, and they are right to call it out. But they do it in such a....masochistic way....that it becomes hour long whiner line calls. Jeremy White and Schopp are the biggest offenders here. Schopp with his week long Peterman rants, and Jeremy White with his rainbow colored glasses of what his perfect coach/playcalling/execution/quarterback/wide receivers/draft picks/offensive line/defensive line/tight ends/...*inhale*....hockey players/hockey plays/hockey calls/hockey penalties/goal reviews/team composition (both teams)/defensemen/forwards/goalies/trades/RFA offersheets/powerplay positions should be....and if they aren't/do not align....then he gripes about it.....if it ends up happening and doesn't work, it's never spoken of again.....its all dust in the wind......

    So ya.....tables?

  5. Baldo: Frankly the items you condemned Goodwin for are unfounded and show a bias against the player and his decisions. He focused on football, and participated in the Olympics. One did not prevent the other...injuries did, and most if not all occurred during practice/games.

For someone who claims to have been through loss, whether comparable or otherwise to goodwins; to focus on what he clearly is opinionated negatively on.....and comment in a post that was clearly meant positively towards Goodwin and the emotion he shows....clearly shows not only a lack of empathy....but also a lack of sympathy.

Everything you spouted cannot be proven. They are "facts" in your mind alone, which unfortunately in our day and age isn't unusual. People determine "facts" now but what information benefits them most, and not by what is factually accurate. I hadn't posted in years until today, this actually made me sign on.

I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

  6. This is the best the Pegulas could come up with--reaching all the way over to the Jets to rescue Rex Ryan? And he may bring in fellow dumpster denizen Trestman? Why jump on Rex now--why be the first to hire a HC?

Wow. How long did it take Whaley to come up with this? How does this immediately make us better?

I've been on a small bandwagon for Kubiak. He's now available--and not even an interview?

Uninspired first major move by Kim Pegula.....

You pretty much killed all credibility on an review when you said you've been on the kubiak bandwagon.

This is now downgraded to: "They didn't get the guy I want"

  7.

I think that's a tad bit revisionist history. Or maybe you're too young. Those guys were like Andrew Luck. Even if the colts had gone 4-12 last year, everybody knows Luck has "it."

And the aforementioned 3 had "it."

And you would not take the first overall pick in trade for any of them in the offseason after their bad rookie seasons.

Would you now for EJ? Would ya?

You get my overall point. Sometimes you KNOW, stats notwithstanding. And with EJ you dont KNOW.

Ryan Leaf. That is how I answer this statement.

  8.

My whole point was that Jim Kelly took chances and was that gunslinger, and we haven't had the combination of that and talent (closest was Bledsoe, but he had ZERO pocket presence and was damaged) in years.

After being fooled by numerous Bills QBs, I'm all out of "silver lining"... and don't give me this "real fans" crap because I've been a Pirates fan enduring 21 years of far, far worse. Eventually, the team has to PROVE that it was the will and ability to win. It is a damn shame our defense is being run into the ground because our offense looks like Jacksonville.

Your point about Jacksonville pretty much sums up what I mean....the bills are averaging 22.4 points a game...while Jacksonville is averaging 10.2...there is a gigantic margin of difference.... Not only that but I believe only 6 points in 5 games have been defensive...out of 112

    You need perspective.

  9.

That's not true... gunslinger? No. Inaccurate? Yes.

Put another garbage Bills QB in there... my point is that Kelly does everything Geno Smith does, and unlike Sanchez, he hit those short routes and ran with purpose. This is turning into a nightmare...

Please see my post earlier about the mindset of fans....

Fitzpatrick constantly took shots and made throws that most QBs wouldn't, but most of the time was too inaccurate to complete them...hence his tendency to turn the ball over...

Geno looked good last night, what did you think of his performance against the titans? When the opposing defense wasnt missing say 5-6 starters?

EJs knack for getting injured worries me, otherwise I still like him over Geno

  10.

Apparently it's down to Buffalo or Minnesota. Oak and JAX seem to be out of the running. Minnesota has two healthy QB's that have started in the league. The Bills have a rookie 1st round pick with an open ended knee injury and 5 starts to his name. If say Green Bay or Atlanta had an injury, he's a fill in for a few weeks. Buffalo? He starts right away and maybe for the forseeable future. He would probably have many potential suitors as a free agent next year. If he actually wants to play, Buffalo seems like the choice.

    Where did you see that?

  11. I'm liking this team for 2nd half of season with everyone back. Then we will know what we have. This roster is a triage ward. Are the Bills the most injury prone team in the league? or am I imagining things and in fact every team has 6 or 7 starters out or limited every single week?.

I'm thinking unless a move is made at QB...the rest of the season will be a wash...Tuel has promise. But not in his first year.

  12.

Right...Other teams can't get film of the Bills' games for the purpose of player evaluation.

Can they evaluate him now after not being in any camps, pre-season games or regular season games with a well documented "condition" over 8 months removed from any actual playing time?

  13. Byrd is magically ready for a Primetime game...?

Nope I'd make him sit and earn his reps in practice...he's not in game shape, and he probably was told by Parker to play so he can showcase himself.

Take away his leverage, let him play normal Sunday games when everyone isn't watching.
