  1. ny33 - Okay, I'm assuming you've watched Russell Wilson only in the Playoffs. Assuming you live in WNY, why would you have studied him the whole season. I live in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver), am an ex-Buffalonian, and a life- long Bills fan. I can assure Russell Wilson IS the real deal. He won the job over two veterans in Preseason and has never looked back. He's super smart, very fast, feels pressure, makes accurate throws, is mentally and physically tough, and hates to lose. Ask opposing players whether his 5'11" stature is a problem? The answer would be, no. (The only problem may be, he's not on 'their' team!) This kid is bigger than Doug Flutie (remember him?) and has intangibles off the chart. Will be a long time starter for the Seahawks and, am betting, will be a long term Playoff performer.
  2. I think it was a fair post and a valid observation. Jones generally plays soft, rarely comes up with the tough catch, and disappears for huge stretches at a time. Sorry, average should no longer be acceptable.
  3. Donald Jones has been in a position to make impact catches in several recent games and has come up short. Fast, yes - but plays soft and short arms balls in traffic. He's a practice squad-er or 4th receiver on a good football team.
  4. While Donald Jones has made some improvement he hasn't made enough of an impact to suggest he's the answer at #2 WR. His drops in the NE and Miami games in the end zone were tough but catchable balls. IMO he's not ready for prime time and a longer term answer needs to be found to playmaker Stevie Johnson.
