If you happen to be in the Springs Back East Bar and Grill on Briar Village (they have/had a couple locations) is full of Bills fans.

Olympic Museum is just "okay", and the Air Force Academy is cool to see (not sure of access these days).  Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a pretty cool/unique zoo on the side of a mountain, has great views.  I toured the Olympic Training Center about 15 years ago and that was awesome - not sure of access these days.

Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are definitely the biggest draws in town which you've already got on your list

I did pass the Academy on the way to pikes peak and garden of the gods but didn’t get a chance to stop in. I’m ex Air Force (enlisted) so it was cool to pass at least.

Yes. I remember going to games during the drought at the original gigantic Lodo's on Market and Bills fans were 100+ deep. Great scene with a ton of fans, very few of us are actually from Colorado thus the "Native" bumper sticker that you may encounter. You should have a blast.

Temaki Den is about as good as it gets (Sushi Den is also great, same owners but a little different). That whole RiNo district you'll be in is pretty interesting, has changed a ton over the last decade. You could burn a day around there easy, maybe two if you want to brewery hop (and/or dispensary hop).

There's also a lot going on in the South Broadway neighborhood and Congress Park along Colfax which I guess they call the Blue Bird District now after a historic indie music theater. I'm a dad who hasn't been out much in years and this city changes every month.

Meow Wolf is this crazy new interactive art museum / almost art amusement park / acid trip? It's really hard to describe but it's gigantic, right near Mile High, and everybody loves it. I haven't been to the Denver location but I've gone to the original one in Santa Fe and it's really unlike anything I've ever been to. It was kind of like the game Myst in real life if that makes any sense.

If you have time to travel outside of Denver a bit then yeah Garden of the Gods is great, maybe even mandatory if you've never been near mountains or rock formations. But note it's well south of Denver near the Springs. You can also go the other way toward Boulder which I think is equally if not more interesting if you've never been. Flatirons are great for outdoors, Pearl Street great for people watching, booze, shops. I'd choose Garden of the Gods if it's your absolute first time near Colorado, but both are worth it if you have time. Hope you enjoy!

Meow Wolf was even crazier than I thought it was. Such a bizarre and wonderful spot.

First time at a dispensary. It’s like picking out candy. I actually can’t believe how inexpensive it was.

Garden of the Gods was amazing as expected. And Bills fans were deep at Jackson’s. What a great game to watch, too.

At Temaki Den, I had probably the best Japanese whiskey I’ve ever had in my life. Nikka single malt. Melts in your mouth. The sushi wasn’t bad either.

Garden Of The Gods is cool.  You can also check out Red Rocks and stand on the stage if there is no concert/event scheduled.  Buffalo Rose Saloon, the oldest bar in Colorado, is a short drive away in Golden, home of Coors. The Buckhorn Exchange Steakhouse is a pretty cool place to get dinner.

I wanted to check out red rocks but we never got the time. If we ever go back it’s first on our agenda.

  3. I'll be there! I'll be curious how it compares to Atlanta's and Manhattan's Bills bars.

Look for the couple wearing Bills gear. (joke)

Now taking recommendations for No. 1 thing to see while there. Got Pike's Peak / Garden of the Gods and some sushi place called Temaki Den so far.

He lost his cool over a crazy situation.  So did O.J. I guess.  Gotta admire his passion. 🙄

I can't believe how thick some of you must be.  I don't question FEELING like throwing things around. We often feel like that when things don't go as expected.

Most mature adults in a civil society are able to restrain themselves from acting irrationally when tempers flair.

ITS A GAME!!!  One Game. Not the end  of the world.

Equating McDermott's spontaneous burst of fist-pounding or Belichick throwing a phone to Dorsey's uncontrollable tantrum is comparing apples and oranges.

I don't care that it's a sporting event. There's a certain degree of decorum that goes along with being a professional in any occupation.

Dorsey looked like a mad man.  Who can blame him for FEELING like that?

It's disturbing that so many of you find it perfectly acceptable to act that way.

It’s “disturbing” that so many of us find it acceptable for someone to throw a clipboard down? Disturbing is a strong word man.

Perhaps it’s even more disturbing to compare said person throwing said clipboard down to a man murdering his ex-wife to try to make some logical point when it’s anything but logical?

    Moving on.

I disagree with this "he's going to get hurt" thing from fans.  Why?  He's 6'6 and 240 lbs... and can take linebackers for a ride.

Why aren't you worried about Matt Milano getting hurt with all the running and thumping he does?  Josh is a LOT bigger!

Sure, there's a risk of injury every time Josh runs around, but I don't think it's close to what fans think it is.

I do support him NOT RUNNING at all against bad teams or when the score is run up.

We need all we have against the big boys, though, and Josh running is the most dangerous thing we do.

I've been saying that for 3 years now and it's still true.

If Matt Milano gets hurt for a long stretch, which he has several times, it has a very small impact, as good as he is. If Josh Allen gets hurt for a long stretch, we’re probably not going to the playoffs. Allen is the offense.

I love the runs, personally. It adds an extra dimension to our game. I think we can all agree running him in the fourth quarter when we’re up, even if it was RPO, was reckless and unnecessary.

It sure feels like (even if not true) that crime is rampant right now. It may simply be due to the quick access to news we have now, but scary.

In major American cities, first half of 2022 compared to previous period:

    Residential burglaries (+6%)

    Nonresidential burglaries (+8%)

    Larcenies (+20%)

    Motor vehicle thefts (+15%)

    Aggravated assaults (+4%)

    Robberies (+19%)

Murder (-2%) ... but up 39% overall since the pandemic/2000 summer of social unrest

Everything is a cycle, but those who are mocking people for saying things are out of control, are out of touch.

  7. The problem wasn't finding a way against the Chiefs. It was playing too soft on defense and not tackling in the last 13 seconds. We had a 95% chance of winning that game after Allen found a way.

    Bills: Prevent the prevent
    Cardinals: Should've played baseball
Patriots: Question: What's the same height? Answer: Lil Mac's floor and ceiling
    Dolphins: Something's fishy

    Browns: Hold my beer

I hate when I'm told I have to "discuss" by your post. Why is that necessary? Isn't that inherently the point of these message boards? Or is it you just being lazy and not wanting to "discuss" the topic yourself? You put a post, a name, and "discuss." I'd like to "discuss" you possibly not telling us to "discuss" anymore.

    You need a drink.

Obviously I’m judging him on his full year, including the kc game. His D is soft and always crumbles when we need a stop. Critical penalties on 3rd downs to extend drive. Very boring and vanilla.  Yes. On paper his stats are good but I’m not a fan.

With all due respect, his D isn't soft. Tell that to Poyer, Hyde and everyone else.

We have a D built to beat KC and NE with an O designed to score lots of points. (It obviously didn't work the second time and I'd agree the prevent D was atrocious in that last game.)

We stop the pass and the running QB. His D is the No. 1 secondary in the league. We can't stop everything. The team isn't built to defend the Darrick Henry's of the world. Besides, one RB alone isn't going to outscore Allen and Co. on most Sundays. If that's "soft" then so be it. I'm not saying that shouldn't change but that was the design this season.

I stand by my point - finding a DC if Frazier leaves might cause a long bump performance-wise.

Should be out of a job.

This comment encapsulates the point of the thread.

You want him fired because his playcalling sucked in the second game against KC and because our players weren't fast enough to tackle Hill? What about the rest of the year? We're really going to fire the DC responsible for the No. 1 defense (by a landslide) in the NFL?

Then, we find a DC on a DC tree and everything will be better ... because.
