  1. So you think this is all about spoiled millionaires disrespecting the military and flag and not about drawing attention to racial injustice? I mean it's not like rich NFL players have their lives threatened by police because they think they might be a crime suspect.

Right, I mean it's not like everyone in this country is taught from the time they are little to stand for the anthem out of respect. To deny one viewpoint to champion another doesn't further the conversation. Especially when it is done in a condescending way. People have to realize that the act of kneeling during the anthem is by definition disrespectful and that will anger some people. I understand the protest, I don't think anyone should have to work about being shot because they were born black or brown (yeah that will anger someone, my apologies) but to try and silence our shout down an opposing view fixes nothing. Facts on both sides need to be aknowledged. The protest is undertaken as is because it brings attention.

What exactly was brave about walking out where everyone could see you and cheer?

Having the courage to stand up for what he thought was right regardless of what those around him were doing? Is common sense really dead today?

ok, so about these ribs. i have them on the skillet. now what?

No you cook them and pm your your address. I'll bring the beer.

  2.

Sorry but home life in an inner city is also a mess. Inner cities in general are a mess because there are no jobs, the people have no education, and crime rates are high.

How did so many minorities wind up living in cities while the rich people live in the suburbs? Luck? LOL

I get what you are saying but it's 2017, lack of education is an inner city culture issue. It has everything to do with what your culture teaches you is appropriate. I was dirt poor but I managed college. Really big student loans which suck but I got an education and got out of the heroin infested dump of a town where I grew up.

  3. The rest that you typed was not worth my time. I'm not getting into arguments that can't be won, but only lost by participating.

that is the problem in this country. Whenever an idea is presented with a conservative viewpoint or data that shows white people may not be all of the problem then it is written off as nonsensical. That is cowardice. Cowards cause wars, they don't solve problems. It is possible to be black or brown and be a raging racist the same as a white racist, but that doesn't fit the agenda. It is easy to blame white people for everything rather than trying to change your situation. Boyst working to build something in his community is a step in the right direction. We as a culture need to take responsibility for ourselves and stop relying on the government or society to determine our values. Love prevails but love isn't picking a side and demonizing the other. Love doesn't lie, it faces an issue directly. The race issue begins to disappear little by little when we build a community and values together.
  4. So you think you saw a terrible loss? Terrible clock management? Terrible quarterback play?

    Fine. Check out now.

If you think the Bills are heading for 1-15 based on what you saw today, there are 31 other teams to choose from. Buh-bye.

The last thing I want anyone to endure is watching inferior football for the next 15 weeks, so just give up now and learn to be a Pats or Packers fan.

I saw a gutsy team come that close to winning a game they were dominated on offense.

I saw a team keep MVP Cam Newton out of the endzone, twice from inside the 10.

I'm going to stick around and see where this team can grow. The rest of you can just check out.

    Feel better?

  5. I didn't get to watch all of the game but I agree with the question regarding what does Marcel provide that Worthy or Washington cannot. It isn't about effort or whatever else people want to argue. This is a salary cap business. Much like MLB's WAR, what does his contract buy above a replacement level player?
