What an awful, awful pick.
-
We're tied at 10. I chose Hillary but I feel dead inside.
-
I would have been happier with Robinson, Spence or Ragland at end of 1st and have an extra 2nd
Another option would have been to roll dice on Jack at end of 1st, high risk/high reward with an eye on longer term if he needs micro-fracture
That would have been a very nice plan.
Good job.

Then I guess you didn't watch Lawson play from a standing position a lot of the time at Clemson.
There are plenty of people that have serious concerns about his coverage skills.
-
He's going to play OLB.
That has me worried.
-
So why didn't he go Top 15? He's a "hair on fire" player with limited athleticism who made plays on a stacked defense. His passrush moves are non-existent - lean and push. IMO he's just a role player not an elite talent. But I guess Rex needs someone who will set the edge without complaint and won't divide the locker room.
Ryans defenses also calls for DE's dropping into coverage as well. Would rather see a DE with more of a Chandler Jones skill set. Not sure about how good of a fit he is. LB's and secondary are the key to his scheme not lineman. Would rather have them go LB in the 1st.
However, Bills have done far worse in the 1st round.
-
Can he drop into coverage?

Whaley says Lawson is the "day-one starter opposite" Jerry Hughes.
I would hope so.
-
I'm neutral on this pick. Not terrible, not great either.
-
Jerry Jones just went full derp.
-
I stopped reading after All Hail Doug Whaley.
I am on board with most of this.....but also agree with the others who say SHOW ME THE BABY
The Bills are fully pregnant.

If Trump wins Indiana it's over.
CBS, Fox News polls et al. have Trump leading at a minimum of 5 points. The momentum will help him even more in the coming weeks.
I think Indiana will be a closer race than California but I think he will take both.
-
Trump needs 46% of the delegates in what is a 3 man race now to be guaranteed the nomination. The research polls have him leading in Indiana and California going forward.
Things are looking up in Trump land. Should be easy for him to get the nomination now.

Holy crap that is such an awesome hook. This band/song is so awesome.
I gotta check out this album now.
-
I just heard a song on SiriusXm (metal channel) called Blue by Toothgrinder.
Very good song.

Forgive me for not reading through this entire thread, but I'm curious: am I the only one who doesn't get why pretty much everyone is making a big deal out of Prince's death?
You are not the only one.

It is easy, however, I don't like having my whole apartment smell like deep fryer for weeks.
That's what a garage is for.
Edit:
Errrr...do you have a balcony?
It's also, however, the absolute easiest thing to make at home. You essentially need six ingredients: wings, oil, butter, Franks, vinegar, and a little pickle juice.
Pickle juice in wing sauce is the equivalent of Donald Trump ordering a steak well done.

This of course reflects on Ralph Wilson; whose obsession with grinding out a yearly profit trumped paying for an expensive coaching or scouting structure. Because you see the billion dollars he made in franchise appreciation just wasn't enough. So he fires Polian, chases Butler out the door by paying him a miserly salary of $250,000; for an NFL GM!! So he turns to the likes of Marv Levy and Dick Jauron, both of whom came very cheap, and the results are the dysfunctional organization the Bills were for the vast majority of the time he owned the team. And the consequences of his cheapness and incompetence - a billion dollar payday and the most unearned entry of all time into the Hall of Fame.
Ralph Wilson was such a terrible owner.

The animosity between Fring and Tio stems from Tio killing Frings cook execution style right in front of him in Mexico.
That would have happened by now I would imagine.

Anybody ever have Blanton's Bourbon? I've read the reviews but I'm looking for a "boots on the ground" review.
I have not had it but from some quick research that it is made by Buffalo Trace/Sazerac and the mash bill is like 80% corn, 15% rye and 5% barley it is going to be a very nice high quality bourbon it seems.
IMO I don't think you will get a disappointing bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery.

Is it your feeling that having 100% participation is why they win?
I guess you didn't catch the sarcasm with the rolling eyes icon.
-
Good...maybe that'll help them win a road playoff game just once.
Good participation isn't why they win--they win because they have Brady.
Doesn't mean I wouldn't rather have everyone there; I would.
To think that it'll be the difference between having a successful season and missing the playoffs, well, I don't believe that.
It seems the Patriots are "all in".
-
But...what about the children?
Jerry Rice...
Rice is another one.
