  1. 1 - Todd Haley. Can work with out offense as is without skipping much of a beat. Doesn't matter to me who he bring in as defensive coordinator. A simpler defense would make this team better, IMO.

2 - Tyrod Taylor. I think he's cheap enough and better than other options. It's the head coach's call though. I don't personally see a good QB to draft and Romo is too brittle. I think TT is our best option, doesn't mean I'm sold on him.

3 - Alshon Jeffrey. I resperve the right to change my mind, but I don't want to wait for a rookie WR to develope and we need someone opposite Sammy and a backup for his foot.

None of this matters without addressing the GM position FIRST!

  2.

Where have you been interviewing where there is no internet and you've been required to surrender your phone?

At the Democratic election watch party in NY waiting for Hillary's coronation speech!! Where else?

    Zing!

There isn't a single person on this forum that gets it more wrong than our good ol' friend GreggyT/DerangedRhino.

  3. Which just further proves you don't know your ass from your elbow when it comes to American politics or American football. I'd call it a casual understanding at best.

Give up the message boards greggy! You are embarrassing yourself again with your casual understanding of politics and football. :)

  4. As I'm reading that Pegulas pushed this change based on specific stats ( third down conversion efficiency) and a distaste for the offenses lack of expensive player utilization, I get the uneasy feeling of Dan Snyder/Jerry Jones type meddling.

From my understanding, they played a part in bringing Ryan in, which IMO was a terrible football decision to start. Coupled with the fact that they caused a winning coach to quit ( Marrone) . One could argue that Marrone with a competent OC would be better than Ryan with anyone. For the record, I was happy to see Marrone go.

My question is, How hands on are they in coaching and player personnel decisions and is it a good thing if they are?

Some others have opined that they need to get a strong football guy to run the whole show and stay out of it. I would favor this approach.

From a business stand point, with season ticket sales over the last two seasons, Ryan was a good move. Where do their interested lie? Business or Winning?

I am getting the the uneasy feeling of Ralph Wilson type meddling which is even worse.

  5. Can't control their misuse on game day. This roster has plenty of talent, that isn't the issue.

Really? My proprietary analytical projections that I do every year for fun has them around a 5-11 team and after the draft boosted their win record to 5.5 wins.

Doug Whaley is a complete failure as a GM. Ruined the roster and ruined the salary cap at the same time.

  6.

there has to be a QB worth tanking for? Not sure there is, but we have to draft one in every draft until we find one. Hit the other positions at later rounds. Also, stockpile picks. See if someone wants McCoy, Watkins, Gilmore for a decent return.

There wouldn't be one team interested in McCoy. McCoy is an overpaid, declining player that plays an expendable position. You will never get a return enough to get rid of Watkins being that the team used two 1sts and a 4th to acquire him and Gilmore will net you nothing on the final year of his contract.
