  1. Mega weak on the lines?? Don't see it. Our D-line is a real strength. Williams conversion to NT was a worry but has been playing like a total animal at NT. Stroud lost weight and has looked grat as a 3-4 end. Edwards has shown me nothing bad. Sorry - worries about our d-line are speculation from the Spring - not reality in September.

The O-line? They looked fine when they were in there - Green at RT is the only one who looks weak. You want to call Wood weak? Levitre? Bell has been very good when he's been in. Hanny's adequate. This is now an average O-line (if they stay healthy). Not mega-weak.

I'll buy that the LB group is weak - probably the big weakness on the team right now.

Special teams coverage needs to improve in a hurry.

As for the tough division - wow - did we suddenly move to a new one?? Seems like they've been an almost .500 team for years now playing in the same exact division - just like Miami and the Jets for that matter. The distinctions from writers between the three teams not called the Patriots are group-think nonsense from lazy writers reading each other's stuff. Bills will finish 2nd this year - it won't even be close, as we are the only team in the division except NE with a decent QB. Sanchez (aka Leinart-east) sucks out loud. Henne is not much better.

as far as the D-Line, lets see how well they stop the run and get QB Pressure. Don't think we'll see much of it this year. But that is to be seen. Brand new defensive scheme, and I'm not sold they got the right players in place for it. You only win games by causing constant pressure and getting in the right lanes to stop big plays. It's suspect right now until proven otherwise. Maybe it will pan out.

The O-Line is a big ? The Center is weak and so are your LT and RT until proven otherwise. If you wanna go to war with this group and expect to to win alot of games, you're joking yourself. ONLY 2 proven players who play well. That is weak to me son. Back ups are weaker then that. Sad group in my opinion, again until proven otherwise...

  2. Yeah. Looks like they are headed in the right direction. Not alot of talent on the team though. We are mega weak still on the lines and LB core. We play in a tough division for sure. I expect us to be anywhere from 3 to 8 for the win column.

  3. The players take enough of a beating in 16 games. But the NFL needs more games for TV. What to do?

    1) Reduce the pre-season to 2 games and maybe a scrimmage.

    2) Add a second bye week.

    3) Add Tuesday and/or Wednesday night games.

    4) Have teams coming off a bye play those games.

    5) Add 1 more playoff team per conference, from 6 to 7.

    6) Add an extra week to the playoffs by having the 6th and 7th seed play a play-in game to the wild card round.

The result: Regular season is 18 weeks, playoffs are 6 weeks, pre-season is two weeks. More games for TV. Two new nights of NFL football. An extra week to the most exciting part of the season: the playoffs. Players actually play fewer games instead of more, but season is longer. Win win win!

    Discuss.

    PTR

    1. - ok, but don't add more regular season games. 16 is good enough

    2. Good idea

    3. Bad Idea, tues? or wed? come on, ughh

    4. ???

    5. Bad Idea, we don't need more garbage teams in the playoffs, if anything, they need to get rid of wildcard

    6. No, never...

  4. The Bills gave up on Todd Collins way too quickly. I'm not saying he would have been a great QB for us, but he wasn't even given a full year as the starter before the plug was pulled. That's nowhere near enough time to develop a QB.

Yeah I agree. I wish we would have Kept him and had Flutie be the starter, instead of going after Johnson. I would have loved to have that pick whoever that would have been I remember we gave up a first and fourth for him, and we all know how good that turned out. If you remember we were pretty stacked in 1998. He would have been a great back up having a full year under his wings. He was always a great guy who could come in and win games for you. I remember the ones when Jim Kelly went down. He did great as the back up then.

  5. That only makes sense when you're in win now mode and you think a rookie can come in and fill a hole. When you're doing a 2-3 year rebuild, picking need over BPA is the definition of reaching, which lands you overpaid mediocrity across the board.

Agreed. Hopefully Buddy will figure that out...

  6. Lucky to win a game? You must be smokin somethin way too strong. We're better than last year and heading in the right direction. Anywhere from 4 to 8 wins is reasonable and your negativeness will never be appreciated on this site.

Get Real man! I love the Bills. I want a super bowl win. I believe we're headed in the right direction. But this season stinks of the 2001 Bills. Remember when Greggo took over? I believe they went 3-13 that season. The reason is we didn't have the players on the team to compete. If the Bills continue to Build through the draft and if there is something such as free agency in the future, we'll be a great team, as long as they draft for need and not BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE! and Get REAL FREE AGENTS, you know impact players?

  7. Ugh, so sick of these polls. All 3 suck. None of them will ever be a franchise QB. None will take us to a Super bowl. Isn't that the ultimate goal? Unless we're playing against 3rd stringers this year, this team will be lucky to win 0-4 games. Mark my word. Until we shore up the offensive line and get a real QB, this team will do nothing. This team will be lucky to win a game this season.

  8. No offense but the MNF guys are spot on. The Bills suck, and have for 10 years! Every AFC East team looks at the Bills and says "two wins there". This is going to be a long year. Franchise QB pick for 11, here we come!

    Yeah I completely Agree

Lets hope we Get Jake Locker and draft for OT

  9. What is your worst nightmare for this team besides team moving ?

Ralph is 10 years out to lunch and the marketers are running the show, which means less wins and almost no chance of success.

Sell the team Ralph, your prime is long since gone.

Heck, If they keep playing like they did Friday. I'll help them pack it up. Sick of this same ol' ****
