  1. I'm not sure we'll win all the ones I have listed. For example, I think we'll be favored at home against the giants, but if our secondary struggles that day it could definitely be a loss.

As far as finding a couple more, I'm counting on a week 1 win against the Colts and a week 3 win against the Dolphins, but don't think we'll go into those games as favorites.

I'll be surprised if somehow we win any of the first 3 games. That's a daunting task for any good team.

  2. I actually thought (and still think) that Marrone is a pretty good football coach (but bad person). He was organized and his team hit. They were prepared.

I think that his power hungry mentality will ultimately undermine Bradley. DM is there to try to take his job. He isn't a team player. He is a taskmaster whose act will get tired pretty quickly.

I agree with your assessment. You totally hit the nail on the head with DM.

  3. Dear Lord..... I seen the same post last year about Jeff Tuel.... Just say'en... The guy played 1qtr! Lets all relax, breath, and let it all play out, not one single QB on our roster is going to be the next Manning, Wilson, Vick, Brady , Rodgers, or anything close to those.. Hopefully 1 of them can just manage the game and make some plays here and there.. Everyone thought Tuel was the next franchise QB last year after 1qtr of preseason games..

Agreed. This is what I thought about all the Tuel hype.

  4. I'm confident that he will prove the naysayers wrong!! I don't think Whaley and Co. are that dumb to just release him at this point. They have to see from tape that he is gradually improving. He will be on team in 2016 and starting.

I'm confident it would be pure luck for him to be on the 2015 roster. He hasn't taken advantage of his opportunities as of yet. Time is running out fast on EJ!!

  5. Yeah I have noticed it but I chalk it up to the Bills not having been a competative team in the past 15 years.

I expect to see a big change this year

    CBF

I agree with you about the losing to a point.

I'm actually worried things could get worse since the expectations of this season are high. If the team starts out bad or it goes bad later in the season, I hope fans don't over endulge and cause altercations with opposing fans of the other teams or each other for that matter.

People need to hold themselves accountable. That is something that has gone by the way side. It's nice to go to a game and have some beers and all, but think. Think about the people around you and how you're going to get home...

  6. The author's predictions just don't make sense. We'll beat the Colts and Pats** but lose at home to the Giants? He also calls KC's offense "high powered."

Nice effort but nothing more than another fan's opinion.

With all do respect, we did beat Green Bay and lose to Oakland last season. So...

I'm gonna predict 6-10, just to be safe.

It all depends on the QB play. We know already know having a great D makes little difference in the win/loss record.

I'm perfectly comfortable throwing out the prediction that if the Bills can get their QB(s) to play with a rating of 80 or better, this team finishes at least 12-4.

(Trent Dilfer posted a rating of 76.6 in 2000)

The 2000 NFL was a different era. In 2015, Dilfer wouldn't cut it!

  7. This thread reeks of an EJ hater's last desperation of relevancy. Doesn't seem like there are lot of fans yukking it up with him.

BTW, Andy Dalton sucks. I'd rather have the unknown upside of a QB like EJ Manuel than the guy who consistently pees his pants when it's playoff time.

Your opinion is nice and all, but let's get to the playoffs for once in the modern era. Dalton > 2000-2015 Bills QBs

  8.

It's not about pride (at least not for me), it's about being asked to completely forget or ignore the good I saw on the field during 2013 and early last year. If EJ doesn't show anything in preseason I'll give up the ghost.

With all do respect, I've never seen pre-season as a determining factor for keeping or cutting a players. Usually it's always what they show in training camp. Either they can play or can't. That's the NFL we live in today. Maybe 10-20 years ago that wasn't the case, but that's just the way I see it.

Bottom line: If EJ's doing the same crap, I don't expect him to be here when the real bullets start to fly.

  9. thorough article with some insightful, statistical breakdowns, thanks yolo.

i still believe in ej - and i think if there's anyone who can get it out of him, its roman.

really hoping ej follows through on his post-benching promise to "let it rip."

I believe I'm getting a headache from this. Enough already!!! Prove it in practice,Prove it in the weight room, prove it in the film room, prove in the huddle and Prove it on the field already!!!
