  1. I agree with the assessment of the pats and the fins but I believe the main AFC East threat is the Jets who may be explosive this year due to their off-season moves\aquisitions. Much of it (as others have stated) depends on the play of Sanchez (as it does the fins and Henne). Most any team can do a 180 in either direction each season but I doubt this will happen with the Jets. I also agree with statements made about the coaching of Dick Jauron and crew and believe the new coaching staff will bring far more success for the Bills, even for this upcoming season. I watched way too many games be lost by the former staff and their bone-headed game planning and play calling to believe things won't change and get better with the new staff. Also, if the Pats lose Mankins as well, they may well be at the bottom of the division at the end of the season (are their players seeing the hand-writing on the wall). The nay-sayers may end up being right and the Bills may end up having a terrible season, but I wouldn't put any money on it.
  2. Man do I miss Bill Polian!! Please let Buddy be half as competent as he was.
  3. While I freely admit I am nervous about the QB and LT positions at this point, I too think the Bills have the players and coaching staff in place now to shock many of the negative prognosticators out there. Yes the league is geared more towards the passing game now, but a successful running game always opens up the passing game if the right play callers are in place (something we've sorely missed for several years). Every position and every player move is a gamble for every team until players (and coaches) have proven themselves, so all that anyone can do is hope for the best each season. I'm amazed at the negativity of some posts I see on here from so-called fans. If a team ticks you off that much you should change teams or sports. I believe the Bills can and will win with a good running game and defense, plus there is still plenty of time to address the offensive holes\weaknesses before the regular season starts, so keep the faith and go Bills! P.S. How long did they cry and moan in New Orleans or Tampa before they put it all together?
  4. ----Had we drafted Brohm in 2008 and he didn't work out, then we would be calling for his trade OR would be 'hoping' that in another year or two he would pan out, thus hindering the team from making a move on another Big Name franchise QB for yet another year or two Naaahh! We should have sold the farm for a 1st round QB that has the same potential to fail or succeed as Brohm or Brown and taken one of the future hall of fame guys that all of the "experts" wanted us to get like Bradford, Clausen or Mccoy. Why do so many fans refuse to accept that there is a huge amount of luck involved in any sport when it comes to player selection and team success? How many other teams have had a lot longer losing season stretches than then Bills? Give the Bills a chance. It's a new season every year for every team.
