Watched Meredith a lot in college..he held up against some of the SEC's best DEs, he has great footwork and he is long (I believe the State Paper once said he had almost a 7 ft wing span) but he wasn't very strong (especially in the upper body) and was bull rushed a lot...when the Bills got him I thought it was a steal..if they can just add bulk and strength to his frame..since we fired our sorry*ss strength coach maybe there is a chance of that happening.... also..our OL will be better this year just because we have not one but 2 real strength coaches instead of one Richard Simmons wanna be running our strength program...

First let me say that I think we will be better next year because this draft made our defense a lot better against the run and our offesne can't possibly be as bad as it was last year (I hope) But I have thought since Jauron got here that our offensive coaches and coordinators have been the worst I have ever seen: including: scheme, play calling, game management and player development.(heck it seemed like we changed offensive schemes every year and sometimes every couple weeks we never hung our hat on anything). with that being said what do you think about the possible scenarios: (I know I've been drinking too much Bills Kool-aid) 1st: I am not and Edwards fan, but is it possible that he can be a good QB? He has at times shown to be ok..with some solid offensive coaching can he be successful? Maybe our past O-coaches just were that bad? 2nd: Can the O-line be a lot better because we finally have an offensive scheme that will carry over through the entire season and beyond? In the past it seems like Jauron could never decide if we were gonna be power running, spread team, zone blocking, counter, etc, etc,, Blast away...

I've watched this Spiller kid..he is something special..not a part time..he ran behind a horrific OL at Clemson (so he'll be used to what he'll have at Buffalo)...when he touched the ball (as a fan of one of his rival teams) you had to hold your breath because he could take it to the house on any play... I think this was a solid draft...coupled with last years draft (especially if Maybin pans out at all) we had two really good drafts..when is the last time we could say that????

I agree...hold onto Lynch once a contending team has their starter get hurt in pre-season or early in the season we could steal a 2nd rounder for Lynch..I think it is better to sit an wait..
