I'm with you. The Pats are a better team this year and will win by 20. Just playing too well right now. The cheating talk is cute and fun, but the bottom line is: The Patriots are a talented and well coached team.

I think the Pats are playing the best football and will destroy the Seahawks. By 20. I hate both teams and I'm not sure I can even watch it. The Packers should have won by 10 and only won through a series of fluky plays.

It's was a ridiculous clause for management to put in a contract. Flat out bad management.
It would be equally ridiculous for Marrone NOT to take what some would consider winning the lottery for doing absolutely nothing. He could could coach. He could fish. he could golf. No stress $4 million. After thinking about it, I would question his intelligence in not taking it.

just another shining example of mismanagement. Add it to Mike Williams, Bryce Brown, maybe Watkins. And everything else that's gone on in the last miserable 15 years.How about some credit to the mensa that penned the deal to give Marrone his full salary if he quit via the opt out clause?
Bottom line. We'll run franchises don't do this stuff.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Pats will have to win against the Bills to secure home field advantage. I have a high degree of confidence that regardless of the playoff scenario situation for the Bills in week 17, the Pats will utterly annihilate them.
I thought the same thing about Denver and Green Bay.

yep. Keep your good players. Hell, keep your decent players.If he doesn't sign an extension before the UFA period begins, franchise and negotiate is the way to go IMO.

If Whaley lets Hughes walk, he should be fired immediately. I'm sick of watching good players leave then the Bills play whack a mole to fill their holes.

A decent QB makes this whole conversation go away.
Whaley has failed miserably at addressing the most important position on the team. They did an exhaustive, no stone unturned, examination and vowed to get a QB. So he turns a 3rd rounder into a 1st rounder and scrambles to cover for his mistake. This faith in EJ cost him a chance at a decent QB next year.
I dunno. On the plus side, he's completely fixed the defensive front 7. The negatives- No QB, a questionable offensive line, no TE and Questions at RB. Yet, you know they'll take WRs and CBs next year.
I wouldn't be crushed if they brought in a team with a cohesive vision.

You can analyze the minutia to death. Grab meaning out of the shape of chicken nuggets. I saw all I needed to see when he led his team to a national championship in the final minutes of the game against basically an NFL defense.
Is he immature. Of course. Is he an A-hole. Probably. But he sure looks like he "gets it" as a QB on gameday and I wish the Bills had a shot at him.
