I did listen.  For those, like me, who think Dunne is a hack, this interview is a case in point.  He provides no factual information, just “I talked to some folks and this what I think”.  Just his opinions and agenda.  He quotes no one, goes on the record with no one, yet presents himself as some sort of insider expert.  If others want to take him seriously, have at it.  I take everything he says or writes with a grain of salt.

Nothing he’s said or written is wrong. Former Bills have gone on record and while not directly saying Dunne is correct, they said things similar to what he reported. Current and former players and coaches I know have also said similar things or outright confirmed what Dunne has said.

You do understand how sources work, right?

I don’t think many people here understand. You attach a name to something now that source is punished and you don’t get anymore info.

    Thanks for posting this.

He's clearly a better speaker than either McDermott or Brady.

Related to that, I think the "right?" count was 6 in 25 minutes which isn't bad. 😁

He was much better with “right” this time around

Josh sucks throwing the deep ball which is surprising given his arm strength. Josh under threw that deep ball to Cooks vs. Denver. A better ball, Cooks catches it in stride and we’re playing for chance to get to the Super Bowl.

Deep balls(there’s different kinds of deep balls, I’m talking about 9s) aren’t really about arm strength. QBs with weak arms still throw deep balls. If anything I think Allen’s arm strength is why he’s not good at them. He throws them too hard and low and they’re very difficult to adjust to even if they’re accurate if they’re not they sail over the receivers head.

The way he throws them are good for posts or routes where the receiver has a shoulder pointed at the LOS. Deep balls should be a rainbow that the receiver can easily track and run under.

I think there are certain deep passes he throws far better than others. A deep post or corner he throws effectively. The deep vertical routes he has struggled with consistency.

    This is accurate

Said “right” no less then 21 times.

Of all the things to hang on to from McD - that is one thing that has to freaking stop.

    Right?

Leonhard does it too. If it was a drinking game you’d be dead by the end of the presser.

I'm one of those very much looking forward to seeing what Walker can be. Being able to contribute right away as a rookie (started 16 games) and did not look to be the weak link on that D-line is very encouraging.

I found it interesting when asked the question of what position he's going to be in Jim Leanhard's defense, and he said something like "everywhere, 4i or 3, and if need to be, 0." Does not seem to be enthused about playing NT though. Eric did talk to him about his length and Walker is fully aware of the challenge.

I think that’s just his personality. He never seems enthused about anything. Hairston is always trying to get him hype and Walker just looks at him stone faced like I’m not doing that.

The presumption of innocence, a foundational principle of Western legal practice. Except for an old orange dude who has been elected POTUS twice, then it's guilt by reliable media accusation always and forever.

He was convicted by a jury on multiple felonies. He’s named many times in Epstein files and emails. You had less evidence on Biden being a pedo(he is too) and lost your minds about it but now because it’s a guy you support it’s ok. That’s idiotic but that’s to be expected from complete idiots.

Good for him, he’s going to earn that money with about a thousand carries though as he’ll be Miami’s entire offence

McDaniels use of him was criminal. Achane would be running wild and all the sudden he doesn’t get the ball for 2 quarters. Love him as a player. Hate that he’s on a rival. But they absolutely should make him the offense.

The Broncos are expected to host the Bills on Christmas at either 4:30 p.m. ET or 8:15 p.m. ET CBS SPORTS WEBSITE

May be a duplicate post but god I hope not. I’m already getting lectures about missing thanksgiving. Gonna be a huge fight if I miss Christmas too. Already have tickets to Denver game and it’s a blackout date for my points so full price ticket instead of free.

Sucks for players as well not being home for two major holidays

We seriously ate a ton of money to get out of this guy’s contract, while he was still performing at a high level. I’m not sure what the organization knows about Diggs that we don’t, but there has to be something there. I’m good without him moving forward. He can be someone else’s headache. Next time something like this happens, his attorneys may not be able to save him

A random bum on the street could have defended him in this case and won easily

First off I am absolutely thrilled he is our OC.  He was the offensive coordinator during the team's prime Drew Brees era. During that time he helped lead the Saints to a top-10 offense for 11 straight seasons (2009–2019) and won Super Bowl XLIV.  We all know Brees was great, HOF Great, but he never had the pure talent Allen does which is why I am really excited.

What changes I predict coming?  Historically his offenses look to the #1 WR (Moore in our case) then it gets interesting.  RB and TE are normally the #'s 2 & 3 in receptions.  If you look at his time from 2009 - 2023 as OC it breaks down like this... (and to all my Stat geeks out there, You're welcome 🙂  )

    Total Receptions by Position (2009–2023)

    Position

    Wide Receiver

    Total Receptions  3,230

    Key Contributors

Michael Thomas, Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks, Chris Olave

    Running Back

    1,868

Alvin Kamara, Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush

    Tight End

    1,145

Jimmy Graham, Benjamin Watson, Jared Cook, Taysom Hill

So... It can be logically deduced Moore, Kincaid and Cook will get the lions share of the Catches this year.  Which isn't a bad thing!  I believe Carmichael compared Cook to Kamara skill set wise in his presser.

The Trends show: (and yes I used AI research for this LOL)

#1 Wide receiver consistently led the way, highlighted by Michael Thomas’s NFL-record 149 receptions in 2019.

RB Heavy Usage: The Saints frequently utilized "scatbacks." Between 2017 and 2020, running backs often accounted for nearly 30% of the team's total catches, primarily through Alvin Kamara.

Tight end production peaked between 2011 and 2014, when Jimmy Graham averaged over 88 catches per season, making the TE position a primary focal point of the passing game. I can see this with Kincaid.

One of the things that I am excited about  is he had Brees and the other QB's he worked with emphasize staying in scheme.  I see his completion % going up and less hits taken. I feel We will see the best version of Allen under Carmichael.  Carmichael knows what it takes to consistently have a top offense and get to/ Win a Superbowl.

I think under Carmichael we see Allen develop into his final form and stay that way for a few years.

I hope he can get Josh to consistently play within the scheme but I’m not holding my breath.
