  1. Nope. The mcbean dumb dumb team has proven themselves to be moronic hacks, cutting good young players to keep old has beens. It's one thing to revamp / rebuild, but burning down everything the last regime did without pause is dumb. It's over. They are not only tanking this season, they will be tanking forever with these losers at the helm.

  2. This may be one of my favorite things to laugh at. When fans of good teams have an obvious need their management failed to fill and they start playing the super favorable what if game. Because they are spoiled by success they talk themselves into thinking things will work out. "Oh we will likely fall short because we again failed to get a star RB to balance the offense? Oh I'm sure we'll get one of the best in the league for almost nothing. Cause our team is brilliant and team x is stupid."

Sorry Packers fans, your grossly unbalanced offense will once again mean you'll be at home in February watching the SB, just like the lowly Bills. Well, that and your awful D.

  3. This may be the worst move I've ever seen the Bills make...and that's saying something. I don't know how to read this except that the Bills have decided to give up already and begin a complete rebuild. It's hard to imagine them not getting far more for Sammy had they simply traded him earlier in the offseason when rosters weren't yet final, or getting there. This is just a new low from a team that I didn't think could sink any lower. Nice they also did this after most people made their call on season tickets. If that doesn't tell you where the organizations priories are I do t know what will.

  4. Only three NFL teams didn't make the list of most valuable sports franchises.

    Bengals,

    Lions,

Bills. Bills have the WORST value of an NFL team. Far below Cleveland Browns.

Pegulas paid $1.4bn for Bills. The last valuation was $1.5bn. This is their WORST investment thus far I'd have to think.

Though it should be noted that part of the discrepancy here can be explained by the stadium. Add a new tax payer purchased stadium to the mix and I wouldn't be surprised in Buffalo didn't shoot past Cleveland net worth wise.

  5. From the outside as a fan I'd have said if Alexander is with $4M plus per year than why big pay Brown $6M per. But the fact that the Bills only have to commit to 2 years with Alexander while Brown wants 4-5 could be an issue. Also there could always be a chance McDermmot just doesn't think Briwn is worth it / a scheme fit.

  6. My opinion:

All restructuring Taylor's deal did was to get some season ticket sales in.

They brought in a coach who was not on anyone's radar. Brought back a QB who has proven that he's in the bottom 3rd of the league. Let Bob Woods, Goodwin and Gilmore go.

This is a tank season. It's clear.

I'm not upset by it, although I'm not happy with it.

Averaging 7 wins/season over the last 17 years hasn't worked. They can't do any better with this roster.

So why the hell not tank? It makes perfect sense.

This year, I'll be rooting for the Bills as spoilers beginning week 1. And I'm perfectly fine with that.

-Tyrod is a serviceable QB. Not great, not awful. About average in the NFL. And the front office is paying him slightly below average.

-Gilmore is a decent CB who cant play on an island / cant cover on his own for more than 15 yards....the Bills would be stupid to give him the money he wants.

-Woods is a decent WR who will be forgot in an instant if the Bills grab Williams at 10.

-Goodwin is a one trick pony....who is usually hurt. Listenbee or insert random WR name here from the later rounds of this year's draft can more than fill his shoes.

So what about all of this is tanking? Seems like they are making sensible moves...but we'll see what happens this season. To me if you have a top 10 scoring offense and a total garbage D, I'd be more concerned about fixing the garbage D, which may only need a scheme fix, and a lot less concerned about a front office that is keeping the core of the offense together and letting replaceable players go.
