I am not sure how to answer that one. It is not that clear cut on the financial incentives. As you all know, you are dealing with an owner that should not be making any decisions relative to an NFL team. It really is as simple as that.

Do you think that Lynch was a financial decision? That kid was a complete disaster. Should have never been drafted in the first place. The fact that he is still alive is a minor miracle.

I have no issues with him. If he said that Overdorf "handled" that trade and that is all. I was wrong. It did get of track regardng the inside info. I am sorry I pointed that out. I should have just left that alone and you guys could just beleive whatever you want.

No he is not. However he is one of the best locker room guys on the team and is well repsected throughout the organization. And no, I do not think he is very good.

Yes Kelly. I would say that. Overdorf has no inout into what the team can or cannot afford. He does what he is told. Now could Ralph or Littman been invloved. Absolutely.

You are right. I could have handled it better and should not have gone down the road. Now that I have, I stand by what I said regarding him having inside info. Do you really think anyone is confiding in any of these guys? The only one that might get anything is Gaughn. You don't have to believe but that is the reality of the situation. I can see why he is upset, but you get seond hand info and specualtiona at best from these guys. That is just the reality of the situation. Not sure why today is the day to weigh in. In retrospect, it sounds like I called out the report for no reason. If he only reprted that overdorf handled the trade, there is no inaccuracy. However he should have clarified that he was not behind it.

agreed. However by the time this team is even close to the playoffs, Evans would have been long gone. Not justfying it trade. Just pointing this out.

By the way, maybe pull up a post where I have defended the organization. Tell you they would draft, who the coach would be, who the GM would be. You could probably find that. However I am not defending the organization. I guess legitimate information is not something you are interested in.

I amn to defending anyhting and never have. All I have ever done hear is post accurate information. I simply tried to clarify a piece of information. I am not hear to rile anyone up. I stand by my record. If John Warrow has a history of posting accurate inside information, I would love to hear about it. Of course someone could have told him that Jim Overdorf was behind that trade. For him to believe and report it shows he knows less about the inner workings of that organization than most of the people on the board. Your relationships there are superficial at best and I am quite confident that no one is feeding you any legitimate inside information. If it was someone outside the team, like Lee's or his agent, you should know better. Amazing that you all of a sudden have a pipeline into the team that would disclose something like that. More importantly it is completely inaccurate. Go ahead and stand by your report if it makes you feel better, but to believe it is hopefully just ignorance and not worse. He comes the journalistic integrity battle cry. Yes I am sure you are completely above reproach. And not revealing my identity does not make me wrong. I think I have been pretty accurate in the past. However if you think you are getting inside info from him or anyone of the other beat writers for this team, you are wrong.
