    So what if Carls wealth was accumulated by land deals with the state or from rent from the state. Somebody had to make that money. Can't blame him for that. He is a developer after all. Somebody has been watching TV ads obviously.

     

    I think it's been said that if politicians were so smart then private enterprise would snatch them up in a heartbeat. Being a politician should not be a career and I think our Founding Fathers would agree that that is not what they had in mind.

     

    NYS is so screwed up that they can't even pass a budget. That is absolutely unacceptable. What a bunch of morons. I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore. This state/country is in sad shape and more of what got us here isn't going to solve anything. Carl may not be the right answer but he is the right message.

    Cuomo? Yea we need another career politician running this state. I say screw every politician that never had a real job. We need people that have made their own way in life that have something to give back. Not more of the same Democrat/Republican BS. Carl has my vote just for that reason.

    I was trying to determine how I felt after the game and all last night. I finally think it's embarrassment. I'm in Charlotte, NC and I've got Steeler fans to my left, Alabama fans to my right, Seahawks fans and Cowboys fans in the culdesac. Spent all of Saturday night cleaning the house to have people over for the game. Bought jerseys for myself and two sons. Built a bonus room out of the garage and got it decked out in Bills and Sabres. Went to the early service at church, started helping the wife make finger foods, dip, etc. People start piling in and got up to about 10 or 12. Had the shout song cued up on the computer. Adults and kids having fun dancing to the song, trying to get our kids to feel the way we did when we were young.

     

    And then we started playing. I felt like crawling into a hole. I didn't want to go outside and face the neighbors. I was completely embarrassed. I felt like a fool for believing that we would look different. I started to consider all the time I've spent reading every Bills article that was written in the off season, how I've watched film on our draft picks, how I've spent time learning the 3-4 defense, etc. Only to find myself with egg on my face.

     

    In a word, Humiliating.

    I was embarrassed years ago. Now I am appathetic. They are who we thought they were. The Bills have proven that if you sucked last year because you lack talent in key areas and if you don't do anything to improve that in the off season, you will suck again the following year.

    Not the flashiest by any means, but I have always loved the 1992 AFC Championship Game in Miami. They were talking so much trash before the game, and the Bills just laid the smack down on their candy asses. The AP pic of Loser Dan after the game was priceless.

     

    Was that the game when the said the Bills were "like a bad restaurant closing early"?

    Well I tell you what then, some of you folks must have great eye sight, more camera angles then I do,

    or are just plain full of it.

     

    So are you trying to tell me you don't think the Bengals starters are looking to pick off the football just because its preseason?

     

    Yes, I do have great eyesight and I have been told that I am full of it more than once. I am just saying every play that I was paying attention too he was locked on his reciever. Just sharing my observations
