  1. Stevie Johnson made a dumb mistake & was probably warned by Gailey before the game that if he got a penalty for excessive celebration, he would be benched. He isn't mature enough to play in the NFL. If he did a stunt like that playing for the Patriots or any playoff team he would be benched as well. His teamates would probably beat him up. he is paid a professional wage to play the game. He is not a child & his antics are not appreciated. The Bills have enough problems without having to worry about Stevie Johnson making a fool of himself during celebrations. The Bills will not resign him & have the perfect excuse to let him go to another team. His dumb move cost him money for whatever team he plays for next year, because they will argue he has character issues.
  2. It's sad to see the Bills have another disappointing season. Fitz may be hurt but the injuries to the team have taken its toll. The defense has been horrible this season. You can't expect Fitz to keep coming back with 30 point games when he very few offensive weapons. I can't figure out why Spiller wasn't given a chance to run more. The Bills were behind but the game was in reach. A few good runs by Spiller could have helped. Why don't the Bills give Spiller a chance to see if he can be a quality running back. He was drafted 9th overall so he has potential.
  3. It is shocking that the local media didn't have better insight about the team. It's OK not to expect 5-2, but at the beginning of the season, Shopp, Bulldog & Sully were very negative . Shopp seemed to be disgusted at having to talk about the Bills.
  4. Given the Bills strong start this season, the game in Toronto will be a very important game this season. Home field advantage is very important in the NFL. I wonder if any Bills fans from WNY will make the trek north to cheer the Bills on October 30. The fans in Toronto are not as knowlegeble about the NFL as those who go to games in Orchard Park. I am still debating whether to attend the game. I have gone to the games in the past but the atmosphere has been less than exciting.
  5. It was a winnable game today but the defense & referees let us down. It is fun watching the scoreboard to see how other teams games impact the Bills playoff chances. Next week will be a key game.
  6. Shopp & the Bulldog are too negative to be hosting a show. This game was the biggest comeback by the Bills in 13 years. Fitz threw for 4 TD's. He reminds me of Flutie. The Bills will be better off with him next year than a rookie QB. The bills could use the draft pick to find someone who can help them on the defense. quote name='1billsfan' timestamp='1290392336' post='2039317'] Way back before the Baltimore game, I think I was the one who posted the original "Fitzpatrick might be the real deal franchise QB" thread. I mentioned how Drew Brees did not become "Drew Brees" until his 30th NFL start. Well Fitzpatrick started turning his corner around in his 27th career start against New England in 2009. Check it out, the guy has been solid and one of the NFL's best since week 16 of last year. No telling where this team would be if they had started him from the beginning and the defense didn't wait till this week to start getting the turnovers. Wake up, Fitzpatrick is the real deal. He's no fluke. He isn't a Derrick Anderson or John Kitna, he's a Drew Brees or Eli Manning type. You should start thanking you lucky stars he's on our team. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00/gamelog/
