I think the Shady trade is one of the best The Bills have ever made! Kiki (Nate Odomes) Alonso was injury prone and no big loss! The guy got hurt before camp last year and was out for the whole season!!!!! How can you miss a guy who spent the previous season on IR. Did he even play the whole season his rookie year? I'm trying to remember, but didn't he get hurt and was out 2 to 3 games?
I'm impressed he lasted this long for the Eagles!!!!

Taylor played the total opposite from what he did vs. the Colts, but his performance against the Pats doesn't change my mind on wether or not he is good! I think the guy who said he'd look past his 4 touchdowns was right! For God's sakes, Taylor almost brought the team back for the win! With all the mistakes made around the board, it's a wonder the Bills scored any points!!!! Poor discipline killed this team!

Maybe Football is a team sport and a QB can't do it all on his own?
I may be crazy though.
Fitz isn't the total blame for the demise of the offense!!! He has no one to throw to. He also isn't getting the protection he got at the beginning of the season. No one can catch the damn ball,
except for our Tight-End Chandler. Why can't we get him more involved? Our receivers suck! No matter how funny I think Stevie Johnson is, he is mediocre at best.
With that said, Fitz still needs to do more to help. He's always good for a floater or two, but he's been throwing a ton of them. We don 't have anyone who can snatch a ball out of the air, wether
they are in double coverage or not. There's no Larry Fitzgerald on the team. Get Chandler more involved, get Spiller in on more short passes, I don't freaking know! How about if something
isn't working, change things up. I don't think any adjustments have been made during a game!

With this info the contract actually looks good. It gives the Bills the ability to walk away, without the risk of having to pay him more than $60 million had he proved himself. With that said, its time to draft a franchise QB. I like the one from Baylor.
Get OLB/DE in free agency (we have a TON of money to spend as we are 20 below the cap and there are some good ones out there), draft one WR, FA another, draft more D-line and O-line. Sign a cheap veteran backup QB like Burnell, etc.
I agree with every point you made! We can't do worse with a rookie QB!

What the hell do they have instant replay for? It seems that so often the verdict is 'the ruling on the field stands.' Wilson clearly had an INT in my opinion, you
could see his hand under the ball on replay and then it get's overturned? You've got to be kidding me!!!!!
What a bad performance by our Bills. Were no adjustments made? Those slants weren't working, yet we kept throwing them!
Also, was Freddie's fumble caused by a guy leading with his helmet? Isn't that illegal?
Very frustrating! My high point was Rian Lindell stopping a kick return, but I guess he screwed himself up in the process!

If it is worth anything, your brothers to the south will join you in taking up arms against the evil empire that we know as CBS 6 Albany!!! Strategic placement of a few catapults around Niskayuna with pitch fork armed infantry should do the trick.

I've harrassed the program director at CBS 6 in Albany for years now and he hates hearing from me. He has always told me that it's the programming department at CBS in NYC that decides what we get and I say that's a bunch of Crapola!!!!!! Yeah, I too am in a bad mood about the Gish article. I wrote her a nice article (no profanity) telling her what a moron she was and that she was insulting anyone who was a fan of Buffalo (Not just the team). What a stupid comment to suggest Buffalo might as well be in Canada! (Like the Penguin said in Batman Returns..."And your nose could be spewing blood!")
I suggested she find a way to insult the local Patriot fans next week!

Once again us poor Capital District Bills fans will be shut out on the Bills and Pats. CBS is showing
the Jets and Raiders at 4, instead of the local rivaly between Buff and NE. I am in a pitch fork and torch
mood and am gonna march on the Village!

Mainly Jets and Giants. I would say the Bills are the 3rd team, and Pats 4th.
I miss the old days when it was Giants, Bills, Jets and Pats in popularity!
When Bill Parcells took over the Jets, they gained instant number 2 status
which I never could understand!

Of course we were at the mercy of the Giants' AFC games, but other than that, almost all Bills games were

9/11 @Kansas City: Yes! No competition
9/18 Oakland: No, Jets will be televised
9/25 New England: No, Ch 6 has 1 game & they'll take the Jets @4:05
10/2 @ Cincinnati: Yes! No competition
10/9 Philadelphia: No, Giants will be televised
10/16@Giants: Yes!
10/30 Washington (Toronto): Yes! No competition
11/6 Jets: Yes!
11/13 @Dallas: Yes! No competition
11/20 @Miami: Yes! No competition
11/27 @ Jets: Yes!
12/4 Tenessee: No, Jets will be televised
12/11 @ San Diego: Yes! No competition
12/18 @ Miami: Yes! No competition
12/24 Denver: Maybe, only competition is NE/Mia
1/1 @ New England: No, Jets will be televised
It looks like we'll get 10 or 11 games on home TV. Better yet, if you go to the home games like I do, the only sure road game that won't be on home TV is the last game @ NE. Obviously this is subject to change due to any flexing off of night games by the competition

I hate it when they show the Bills in Albany!! It has a negative impact on my NFL Ticket cost per game.
I don't understand, why would it impact your NFL Ticket? Don't they just black out the 'local' games and force you to watch them over your antenna?
I am psyched I'm getting the Bills this week on WRGB!!!!!

I think Fitz looks like a QB that can win in this game!!! Some of his "crunch time" ints have been tipped balls!!! Same thing happened today. I think we draft a young QB and keep Fitz around until the young guy is ready. If we had any bit of a pass rush, an O-Line that provided protection and didn't hold on every positive gain we would be 5 and 3 right now!
Even though this team is 0-8, it is not the worse team in the league!!!!
I think today was another example of how we've got some solid building blocks for the future. Today Fitz showed how he's a solid QB that can carry this franchise into the future with a few additional pieces. I believe he's also to keep getting better with more game experience because of the continuity with Gailey. I would argue that the Bills have a solid complement of skill players, but have neglected the trenches for too long. If I had my druthers, I'd look to the highest rated tackle next year, or D-Lineman with their first round pick. Thoughts?
