This team is still on course to make the playoffs!
Double our record and you've got 10 and 6. Win our remaining home games and win one on the road.
They can do it, the wheels haven't come off the wagon. I'm sure The Jets were pumped after everyone in the media saying the Bills would be 6 and 2! The Bills sure mailed it in like they believed the hype!

Wow,this isn't in order, but the game was lost due to the Bills playing the opposite of how they've been playing.

I finally cut the DirecTV off! Bunch of crooks! I called them before football season and told them to cancel the NFL Package, what did they do? Gave me the Max Package for free, but still charged me for Sunday ticket. I called them back and they said it was too late to cancel the season.
No, I cancelled them (2 year contract up) and they called me everyday with offers of a better deal! I told them they are crooks and to hit the road! As soon as my AT&T contract is up they can take a flying leap too!

I just don't get why us fans have to ask about picking up former Bills' when they're cut by another team? Steve was quite the character, but that was a lifetime ago!

You don't develop an 8th year QB. His development was done before he got to Buffalo.
That's something I didn't consider! I don't even have a clue on how he played in pre-season games in Baltimore!

Ok, I made a hypothesis on Taylor playing better this year, but was wrong. Also, I can't argue that he hasn't become clutch in late-game Situations. He did a pretty good job of looking clutch at the end of the Dolphins game, but he had Carpenter and our Defense playing against him.
I said his contract needs to be renegotiated, but if the Bills just kick him to the curb who the heck will be our QB in 2017? Do you think we're gonna draft a guy who can play right out of camp? Are they keeping EJ around to be the worst back-up in history? Is it going to be Jones and if so, who will be #2 and #3?
We can say Taylor is not going to be The Bills QB, but who the hell else is gonna step in?

Tyrod Taylor and his errant throws and indecision kills me, but I don't think he's terrible. I understand The Bills wanting to take it slow and not blow 27 Million on an injury, but Tyrod should remain with this team. Restructure his contract and keep him on the team!!!! The only place we're going to find another QB is through the draft. Everyone thinks the next Zak Penobscot is waiting and we can draft him. Even if he is waiting, the Bills and Whaley aren't smart enough to draft him!
I think TT improved 10-fold between this and last season. His biggest problem was a banged up O-Line and a depleted receiver Corps!!!
Unless there is a free agent out there and I don't know who it is, Taylor is the best option. If Jones shows some promise have him fight it out in Camp...

People are missing the fact that Dan Carpenter actually accomplished something on Saturday! He knocked someone out of bounds!!!!!! If he can't be a kicker, maybe he can tackle someone on Special Teams!!!!!

I don't think the Bills will see it this way. Ravens game was a product of Greg Romans curious play calling. He was dismissed after game 2, and the offense came alive. They will look at the offense in the last Miami game and see what is possible with Watkins, Clay, Woods ( or comparable WR) and McCoy on the field. Short of acquiring a proven QB a la Tony Romo, they will stick with the plan rather than go backwards. They probably feel they can quickly turn around the defense to 2014 level. That's easier and faster than finding an elite NFL QB. Can the Bills do better than Taylor at QB with someone actually available to them? There are one or two options, anyone else is an unknown. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't . I believe more and more that Tyrods option will be picked up.
Yes, exactly! The Offense isn't as broken as the Defense!
Reggie Bush being here was a bad move. TT has also had a lot of sacks due to line play. He doesn't make game changing plays with interceptions. He had poor receivers. I like the guy and he should stay. Going into his third year as a starter will be good for him and the team.

He could have done more in 15 games this season, that wasn't my point. I also don't think he won any games for us, McCoy, Gilleslee and Felton did that. Did he LOSE games for us?

I think after his performance Saturday Tyrod Taylor gets another year with the Bills. I know we are going to owe him some money, but if the Pagulas don't have a problem axing Rex with 3 years worth of contract to go, why not give Taylor some more money?
I started going over the losses this season and cannot find anything that stands out to say Tyrod single-handed loss the game for us! Our Defense is guilty for 90 percent of the losses, not Taylor! If the blame is on Taylor, then it's the poor plays being sent in! (Example: Reggie Bush Reverse)
Maybe if Clay is more part or the game-plan, some new receivers show up and Watkins stays off of IR, then the Offense can be a little more consistent. Hell, we've got the Number 1 Rushing Attack!!!!!
I know TT makes some horrible throws, but at least they sail over the receiver's hands and not into the hands of defenders. He needs to improve a lot, no argument there!

My Magic 8-Ball predicted correctly yesterday that a coach would be fired, I guessed it would be Rex. How the heck hasn't there been a defensive coach fired after the continued break down in the Bills Defense??? Greg Roman got the boot after 2 horrible offensive performances and this year is THE year that the Bills Defense has given up serious yards to competitors. What gives????
On another note, how did Jeff Fisher keep a head coaching job for as long as he did???

That is true. But, I can see Rex working his way into an extra year if the team performs well these final 3 weeks--which it should.
If Rex is gone during the season, who is OC if Lynn is promoted. And does Thurman stay around to run the D?
If the team performs well? They may not be giving up 230 yards to RG3 this week, but how do you not see that happening with Jay Ajai before Black Christmas?

I listened to the 8 o'clock hour and the discussion seemed to be if the Bills somehow make it to the playoffs, does this mean they are a good team? Howard replied that he really wants to see the playoff drought end, but they probably aren't a good team.
I don't think the Bills making the playoffs will decide if this team does anything in the off-season to improve, but the goal of the season is always to make the playoffs. It will be a moral victory if this team does indeed go to the playoffs. They need to go there. Plain and simple AND they need to draft a QB that can help this team in the future. This is a re-building year, so lets re-build, but lets make the playoffs. Let's move on from The Chargers game and continue with Tyrod. Heck, we still would have lost with Tyrod going 4 quarters last week. Who cares about the Peterman switch!
