What is your price to trade Tribusky? Say Mitch is good with it.....

Mine is a second and fourth rounder. That is enough to make us a player in the 2022 draft.

We could finish this team and get another blue chipper.

I'd love that in a trade.

I don't think they would trade him at all.  Based on what we've seen this preseason there's a substantial drop-off in QBing after Josh/Mitch...  Fromm and Davis are not close in capability at all.  I think the price to trade Trubisky would be quite high.... its not just "what could we get for him".  If Allen has to miss a couple games, they need a QB who can keep winning.  That's what Trubisky showed against the Bears last week.

A rebuilding team is not giving up anything for an aging veteran.
They would be better off signing anyone under 28 and seeing if they can develop them for the future. The only way to move Addison would be a playoff hopeful team in the NFC more than likely that has an injury.
Jets will grab some young guys at cut downs.

They'll wait to see if we cut either Obada or Johnson....  #neither!

also surprised Devey made it passed this wave of cuts he was AWFUL in Chicago

I think it would be just a matter of making sure they can get through the last preseason game.  After Brown and Doyle got hurt last week, they're don't want to play anyone who is going to make the team

  4. I'm sure its nothing, but interesting look on Allen's face as he congratulates Duke on the TD pass.  I don't think I've ever seen him look that way, he's usually pretty "in the moment" when celebrating a TD w/ one of his receivers.  It was a 4th quarter TD pass to take the lead, you would think he would be amped up.  Its peculiar....

  5. Think of the close calls.  I'm still convinced that if Denver hadn't traded up to take Tebow, we would have grabbed him we would have been looking to take him.  He had dinner w/ Jim Kelly during a trip to Buffalo during draft process and had his stamp of approval.  Just imagine if we had drafted Tebow... and then followed that up with Rosen.  Did I just say all that out loud?!?

This so true.  I would ask Joy to actually look at the Bill's offensive roster that year and get back to us.  That they won 6 games and actually moved the ball was a testament to Allen.  That was when I realized that we had someone special at QB.

And given that she is Taylor's, that final game of that rookie year against the Dolphins was particularly an Allen coming-out party. He put on a show of what was to come and won Offensive Player of the Week.... despite "sucking" in his rookie year

That STUPID 10-5 loss to Tampa.........will never forget it.

The Bengals were great that year; even at Rich it would have been tough.

Yeah, and then the 49er in the Super Bowl.  Looking back at the history, that's the game Montana bought them back in the last minute w/ the TD to Taylor.  I think it would have been tough to beat them with the Bills still forming their identity.  I'm just looking back at the roster and they had most of the Super Bowl run core, but still very young team.

  8. I was watching that first video clip yesterday and the tight spots he's dropping dimes into.  Wow!  Now I finally understand why I'm not an NFL QB.  Also, I'm slow.... and below 6'.  Maybe there's more than one reason......

No. Nor was the throw over Warner. Nor was the shoulder shimmy against Pittsburgh. Nor was the falling shovel pass to Diggs where he hurt his shoulder.

It's literally just 90% deep balls (which is why there's so much Herbert and Wilson). That's it. Hail Murray finished #1, which was essentially a blind throw to somewhere in the endzone. It should be almost all credited to Hopkins, not Murray.

Or the 3rd and 23 to Beasley.  Really the Kumerow TD pass that was featured was a laser, but hardly a clutch throw.  The Bills were up big at that point
