  1. Well first of all I didn't make the comment and second of all, if you're gonna sharpshoot people that'll be your karma.

Agreed. Most of us here are not perfect (and I am not perfect) - and therefore do not sharpshoot very much. When one like slackware does he/she does leave themself open for return fire. So let me be the first to point out that slackware's mistakes in grammar are numerous.

  2. Actually, it was caused by the sex with a raptor that was Gailey's punishment for Easley's having beaten him in the wing-eating contest.

Confirmed. Also, through the recently developed field of Paleo-genealogy is has been discovered that the raptor in question is in fact related to Marv Albert.

  3. There must be some confusion internally in DTV then, cause I was told by a DTV rep that the PS3 version did not have the same restrictions as the rest of the Sunday Ticket To Go packages.

I think your right as well as "Why So Serious" (You're getting sold, and listening to sales BS.

They have no way, no ability, or no desire to turn down your $350.

Just go to your PS3 and buy it. There is a question that says, "are you able to get DTV?" just answer No and move on.)

It almost seems like they are putting forth the company line but are willing to look the other way to get your money. I'll

give it a try and let you know how it comes out.

  4. To me, the most amazing stat in Bills history and the main reason why they are a losing franchise. Fifty one years without drafting a QB with their first pick in any draft.

The last time the Bills were all-in on a QB prospect was their inaugural draft of 1960 with Richie Lucas from Penn State.

Ralph has apparently never gotten over that disappointment.

I'm going to keep saying it, because it's fact. The NFL draft is a process, not an event. Sometimes you gotta take a chance on a QB. No balls, no babies.

From an individual draft pick standpoint, you gotta' love Dareus. But 5 years from now it won't make a bit of difference if Dareus is great or a bust if the Bills don't have a franchise QB.

Buffalo Bills First Round Draft Picks

2004—J.P. Losman, QB, Tulane 1983—Jim Kelly, QB, Miami (from Cleveland) 1960—Richie Lucas, QB, Penn St

JP was the 2nd selection in round one in 2004 (Lee Evans being the first selection that year) but a first round pick nonetheless.

  5. Now, to me, that means 1 thing. They will take a QB at #3 if neither one is taken in the first 2 picks. There really is no other way to spin that answer.

I think there is. So no qb's are taken - and only two of the following are taken: Fairley, Dareus, or Von Miller - then the one not chosen will be our pick.

That given - only Buddy knows how much he thinks of Newton - I'm not sure it's enough to pass up any of the three I mentioned above - but it could be.

But like most here, I do believe that the #3 pick will be someone that Buddy believes will really help the Bills and contribute right away.

However your take is just as valid as mine - let's just hope the #3 pick will not be a bust - because there are no promises in the draft and anyone can be a bust - anyone. The NFL draft is a crap-shoot and always will be.

  6. Exactly what I am seeing! I mean, 92! I can't imagine anyone at that age making sound decisions. Maybe some can, but no one I've met.

my mother-in-law passed away last year at 104 and she was still giving quilting classes at the local library. she still had a very good mind and well capable of making sound decisions. and there are many more like that - really there are.

  7. Since the Bills changed to Uniforms this team has looked bad, played bad, drafted bad, coached bad, they were just plain bad. I'm here to tel you that is a thing of the past. The real Bills are returning. No more looking bad, playing bad, coaching bad. The Bills are are going to make there fans SHout for Joy again. Can't wait to see what the 2011 Bills look like.

the correct word is their - now that is "grammar" police work

to machinegun12: your post was more of "spelling" police work

but at any rate - i agree with your post bisonbrigade

  8. Story

I am pretty sure it is not true etiquette [/size]to put your hand over your heart for the National Anthem, and only something that has come up since 9/11...along with the little pins on the shirts.

Seriously, this guy was a substance abusing morning zoo keeper and here he is commenting about putting your hand on your heart for the National Anthem. I guess putting your face in a bowl of powder is something much more patriotic. Also, I love how he was giggling about Gay's last name. When will we be done with this guy?

You are pretty wrong about that:

To salute the flag during the national anthem, all persons come to attention. All persons in uniform should give the military salute. Members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may also render the military salute. All other persons should salute by placing their right hand over their hearts. Men wearing a head covering (a hat, cap or other headwear) are to remove it. Women do not have to remove their head covering.

  9. You are by far the most self righteous poster on TBD. Your font is obnoxious and nothing but a sad attempt to get people to read your worthless posts.

Everyone needs a friend to tell them when their being an a**hole. You just haven't found that friend yet.

not self righteous - but i do not compromise my values - and that will not change.

it's a life's truism that people of low moral fiber seem to call people self righteous just because the low moral fiber types have never lived up to standards, or even have any for themselves.

and i have many, many friends, in many different countries - but wait those who are my friends are not people of low moral fiber - funny how that works.

and once again for the mental process challenged - i have a slight visual impairment - the larger font is for me so i can preview my posts before i post to cut down on the numerous typo's.

  10. You reduce yourself to petty name calling, much like a child.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You wouldn't last two minutes in my jungle

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    OK, Chief!

i wasn't calling you a name - just simply identifying you as who and what you are!

btw - you got the chief right - i am a retired chief warrant officer - retired from the central america joint intelligence team/counter-drug joint intelligence center in the pentagon - and you wouldn't last two minutes in my jungle either little girl!

  11. What I have to say is more important than what everyone else has to say. That is why my font is big - you can easily scan past the drivel and get right to the big font gold.

you are such a little girl - grow up

    pot-tender---I'll have whatever he's smoking!

hmmmm - wrong again joe - i am the most anti-drug person you will ever meet. i spent most of my life stopping the flow of narcotics into the us - and frankly you wouldn't last two minutes in my jungle

  12. Oh big of you, are you for real or just joking? Helping out the homeless is the last thing on tailgaters mind most of the cans are crushed and bottles smashed making them nonreturnable. If you want to help out the homeless work in a soup kitchen and if you want to pay Cadillac entitlement to the "underprivileged" well you're living in the right state.

i couldn't help but notice in all of your high-minded social commentary that you could not resist in throwing out a racist comment - very classy - very socially aware.
