  1. Just as a joke I'd like to see how Many of us could go into an ED and complain of diffuse abdominal pain.... See what you walk out on......Toradol would be one of the first choices.... Its like naproxen... which is over the counter aleve. Only you can inject toradol. If many are serious about the pain, they won't complain about Toradol. If you want a buzz, toradol probably won't work.... But NSAIDS are funny... Pain receptors mollecullarly work differrent. One ANSAID might work for you but might not for me,,,,,

  2. Can only cite what many ED docs told to me personally. They said toradol was a Godsend and they could tell in a second whether a patient was a drug seeker or not. I'm not a genious. And I don't claim to be one. But I know if I go into the ED claiming my gut is on fire and I need relief...If I'm offered Toradol, I'll take it.. If I want a buzz, I 'll say that I've taken toradol and it doesn't work. Regardless, kidney stones is a sure fired way to get a narcotic in an ED before Toradol.

  3. I like your post except I think Spiller as a "luxury post" is out of line. He redefines this offense....Put the ball in his hands from Captain Checkdown from last year we would be better..... Now this year with a committed O coordinator, with some experience, who will commit to the run..... Now, thats a whole different monster...Whoever the QB is, who evr wins the job...It will be better than last year... And truthfully, How could it be worse?...

  4. My panties are officially in a bunch because these guys say anything negative about the Bills. Come on..... They follow the Big Market teams and the Bills are way down on there radar. Once we start winning a few games they'll start crowing about how they thought Chan was a great hire. Please let the season begin

  5. Toradol is considered an ANSAID --in other words another drug that treats inflammation BUT was condsidered revolutionary because in the ED it could be given to suspected drug abusers IV (the first of its kind. ) Ansaids are Aspirin, Ibuprofren, Aleve,.. Obviously non narcotic........Toradol was the first of that kind to be avaliable via IV. Obviously a boon to the ED until the drug seekers said Toradol doesn't work on them.... Drug seekers go into the ED saying they have severe stomach cramps. To an ED doc the first diagnosis is renal cholic or in laymans terms kidney stones.....So what to do..... Before Toradol...Narcotics.....Bingo......Easiest diagnosis and treatment in the world...And then Toradol.....Would treat pain but wouldn't make you higher then aspirin.....ANSAID---Another Non Steroidil Drug Anti Inflammatory Diseases .....Notice the Caps in the last sentence ANSAID. Truthfully Toradol is a great drug for those seeking pain relief but don't want a narcotic. No doc in his right mind would even second guess giving a professional athlete Toradol unless they thought it would mask symptoms. And if you're an athlete, or were an athlete, you'ce taken something...whether an aspirin, or something you thought you needed to help you through...I'm not advocating drugs...far from it... But if you're a professional athlete and need aspirin, or naproxen(aleve) or toradol.... These are legal... and mostly over the counter drugs.....So why should I condemn you

  6. Thanks for the vid......Classic...Byrds run defense might be suspect....And it is....Thats one thing that can be taught and learned. But some folks just have an inate sense for the ball. Whether they're lucky and just always happen to be in the right place at the right time or they work hard and are "just there". I don't know. But he has "it". I used to play soccer and lacrosse with this guy in college. Wasn't the most talented dude. Not high level sports. But this guy smoked way more weed, drank way more beer....but still led both teams in scoring.....He was just always around the ball.

  7. Might sound stupid but I don't care if we make the playoffs this year. I just want to see a competitive team. I don't want to see a team that goes into the fourth quarter with a 13 point lead and you know they're going to lose. I don't want to lose 6-3 with an opposing QB who completes 2 of 17. I want to know that the O is going to score 20...at least!!!Damn....lets be competive for once....and lets make the Ralph hell for the opponents...for a reason..

  8. I think the point is in that Bruces first year he wasn't that good. In fact he was fat and unmotivated. Smerlas was calling him out. He knew how good he could be. DL and WR are two positions that usually take some time to excell at. And one thing Bruce did was excell....But not in year one. Therefore I think the point of this article is to say that although we drafted two Dlineman high in the dreaft, don't expect them to be breasts this year. But they will be the foundation for years to come.....Just my opinion........

  9. I think the learning curve for WR is a little higher. Very few have break out years there rookie year.

I agree. And if you look at Dline. Very few of them make a big difference in their first year. So this is a team in transition.....I can live with that...I truly believe that while we might not see a team with a great record, we'll see a team that gains focus and understands who they are and what it takes to win.....I'll be happy with that.

  10. Its funny. I live in the NE area. And all the talk show radio programs are complaining that they got a special teamer with their round 1 pick. And that this draft is as bad as their 07 draft. Only 1 player left from that draft. They're saying with Pioli gone that Belichek can coach but can't evaluate talent and that he just calls Urban Meyer and asks who he should draft from U of F. I really like our picks so far. Difference maker in the first. Two solid starters or big time contributors in the second and third. A WR in the fourth who worked his way into a scholarship by butting heads on special teams. We're doing ok.

  11. Macungie---You were probably a guy who was excited last year when they brought in an over the hill TO. Thinking he was going to get us over the hump. A year later TO is gone. Spiller has much better upside than TO and you whine. I thought it was a good pick. A good RB can make a weaker line look better. Notice the difference between our two rbs last year. Now we either trade ML for some additional picks or ML is seriously concerned and picks up his game. Either way we're better than we were yesterday. Still a lot of players left to draft.

  12. He was hitting on Larry King's soon to be ex.

I here she is looking for someone a little more mature than Larry (doesn't have to be alive but preferred).

Thats still the funniest reply to this thread...Can't stop laughing...Larry King---the frog who falls asleep during interviews--and Ralph Wilson---asking---Who am I and why am I here?

  13. Actually I think we're better on D than most think we are. We were horrible against the run the last couple of years. But we didn't give up a lot of points. We were putrid on offense. If you gave our D a lead they would have been a lot better. Which is what this D was predicated on. I actually thought when they drafted Maybin last year that the Bills would incorporate some 3-4 into their defense. Because he was never meant to be a defensive end. But they continued on their path......Now they're gone....Rightfully so. And we finally have a FO and a coaching staff and an owner who wants to build a winner...Not just for now, but for a long time. I feel we're at the beginnings of building blocks meant to win...Maybe not next year, but at least you can begin to see the beginnings of things. For me THe FO is not promising anything except build through the draft and get quality FA's. Thats what they've done so far. Lets see how they draft and then utilize what talent they've got and then go from there. Meanwhile,,, I'm very hopefu.

  14. Took the words right out of my mouth. Going to several gator games when he was playing, he used to light people up. He was also a kid at the combine who impressed everyone pretty much...didn't drop a pass on the jugs machine (etc.). Hopefully he can bounce back from these injuries and go back to his former self.

Like Isaid....There's no downside to this signing. At the best he's a third WR. At the best he's a great kick off returner. No matter what..He pushes who we"ve got. And that makes us better.According to most of you we've needed an O-line and a QB,but we need first and foremost is a winning mindset. INstill it by having a dominant Oline, running the ball and winning games....the rest will follow...

  15. Didn't the Bills get beat in a super bowl by a back up QB with a great running game. Isn't Trent Dilfer a winning super bowl QB? And Eli Manning over the "Anoited One", Child, please. Lets build a team.....Lets build to win our division. Stop the run.....Kick the s-t out of the oppossing QB. Now thats easy....Now , lets get the people to do it....
