    This is really a poor reflection on us as fans, not Wilson's generosity. This is now our biggest division rival and we didn't sell out. I don't get it. (I guess it is the holidays and people are out of town...and maybe family should take priority at this time, so I do get it, but c'mon man!)

     

    The game sold out in time because of the generosity of a local fan. Good for him and I hope his restaurant gets a ton of business.

    RIP to a great artist and musician. Someone posted about Lou Reed the other day and it got me to thinking about musicians that I used to listen to and haven't heard from in a long time. Captain Beefheart was the first one that popped into my head. I went onto youtube and have been watching some of the videos there the last couple of days. Now to find out he passed away. Sad.

    I was in high school. Doing the usual stuff you did back then...or should I say using the usual stuff. A friend of mine said listen to this....We were driving around and I was amazed. Lou's not my favorite but I always like it when his music comes on. Oh and thanks for that link to youtube.

    I was at the game. I will go to the next one and I will renew my seasons next year. If you don't want to go thats your choice. But don't tell me that because I choose to buy seasons that I'm the reason that there is no winning football in WNY. Keep not buying tickets, please... Because the more of you who don't, means I have a better chance of moving to better seating. I go because I have a great experience at the game whether the Bills win or lose. I always want them to win. But I put things into perspective and say...Hey, lets tailgate, have fun being together..and if the Bills win....Bonus.....The games are fun..the fans are usually obnoxious,and to me, part of the fun. But you do what you want...And I'll do what I want...But don't accuse me of fostering a losing atmosphere....

    Wins are wins and losses are losses. But which way is the team heading? After 3 consecutive 7-9 seasons all I could think was that this team was getting worse. They sure weren't getting better. Now they're 0-8. But they're playing with more passion and desire than any of the previous 7-9 teams. The last 3 years if they were down by 3 going into the 4th quarter I knew the game was over. Now I have hope. It hasn't materialized yet, but it will. And I never heard Jauron say that a loss was like a kick in the gut....only that it was tough to win in the NFL. Even though the Bills aren't winning, I feel better than I have in a long time.....

    Things suck. We're 0-8. No playoffs in a decade. But instead of thinking of songs like this. I'm thinking things are getting better. Maybe I have rose colored glasses on. Perhaps so. But I like this team more than any in a while. A couple of years ago we were 5-1 and it didn't feel right. We were beating inferior opponents except for San Diego and while I wanted to think they were good. I just couldn't believe it. And I was right. This year I wrote off before it began. I thought, "Just let them be competitive and show some heart." I think they're showing that. And next year will be better. With better players, a better coach and a better front office. IMO things are "Looking up".
