  1. It wouldn’t still be an issue if there was an actual explanation given and responsibility taken at the time.

Agonizing over it isn’t productive or healing. We have a different roster and staff. Time to move forward. Besides there’s some terrible new way to find out how to lose.  I thought 13 seconds was bad until Cincinnatti, then Denver, then Philly.

In retrospect, 13 seconds was the one loss that was terrible to us, but everyone else still gave us our flowers for. So much so that they favored us the next season. We all knew the playoffs were a given and the only question was how deep of a run would it be.

It’s lying season in the NFL.

It should be more obvious to fans in general. More than a few hot takes on this board recently make me wonder at what point does the average fan learn this?

Or I suppose the better question is: do you really want your GM out in the media doing anything but smoke screens and misdirection?

I want Beane taking up first round grades on punters, I want him making up stories about doing ayahuasca with Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers, I want him on TMZ with a random owner every other day until the draft just flooding inboxes with smoke.

I also think people are totally sleeping on Damar Hamlin.

We would all love to eat crow on this one. But even before his injury he wasn't the heir apparent to any starter. Even now with both starting safeties gone, he's backup at best. Last season really popped the balloon of expectations. He was a liability in special teams. I hope that he can move past the "I'm so grateful get to play football phase" and regain the I want to win football desire.

  4. If you’re upset with Poyer, just focus on when fans gave him grief for his health opinions, then criticized his wife for her politics, then crapped on him for his charity event. To which he responded by playing through  injuries including a collapsed lung and having the best years of his career. But yeah what a jerk, huh?

  5. Maybe now we can finally find out the real timeline of events. The initial news didn’t make sense, they back tracked it to kind of fit an odd narrative. First NyNy was hit by someone, then he was moving but not fast, then he was idle sitting still gassing up. I forgot what the official redacted story was because it didn’t make sense anyway. Especially the part where he was hit directly in the ACL which is odd to say the least.

  6. The sudden thirst for truth about DC is odd considering we swam in a sea of ambiguity for a few seasons now. When you juxtapose that with non-answers for 13 seconds, the Cincinnati acute emotional exhaustion, Frazier's coaching status, and the Dorsey getting fired for the special teams letdowns, it just proves that we not only don't need definitive answers, we don't even want them.

  7. Araiza ostensibly chose to be cut when he chose his legal counsel. His lawyer was not going to be low key or civil. The collective amnesia is strong on this board forgetting the public airing of laundry between the two sides early on was classless and embarrassing. Buffalo had no choice from a PR perspective.
