Always has been. Very seldom does he hit has back foot on his drops and throw
Josh does not use actual QB footwork.
To Josh, a 3 step, 5 step, and 7 step drop means
A little, medium, and big.

one silver lining
For the rest of the season, i will NEVER act all confident like we have a sure win before any game.

May I have a fresh tomato on it with pepper and salt?
no. Derek Carr only merits a single teaspoon of Strawberry Kwik in your milk.

Derrick Carr is the Ohio of QBs.
if you told me he was exactly #16 out of 32 in every QB stat, every year of his career, i'd say that feels about right.

Rooting for Derek carr is…not easy
its not because we root against him. Its that he doesnt inspire rooting of any sort. Unless you like a mayonnaise sandwich with a half-glass of milk.

Thankfully, Tyrod will NEVER throw the ball in the middle of the field.
use this.

since i hate being even the tinyest bit sleepy during the game, I set my alarm for 4am today. So i can get in a nap, not have to drink coffee during the game, and still be able to sleep tonite at a reasonable hour.

I think that can’t be right on game night but my partner is antsy and asked me to check they’d stay open. So I call…
The kitchen and bar will close at 9. I asked them to check with somebody in charge, they have BoW, Blue Light, and Bills logos all over their social media. They told me that since it’s a nationally televised game they won’t stay open.
How can you expect to draw a crowd if you can’t consistently be counted on to show the game. This has to be the worst Backer Bar in the country, right?
maybe because they cant serve alcohol past 10 (or something similar). Its probably not profitable and they might not be rich enuf to stay open anyway.
and/or, didnt i hear on the radio something about NYS now being able to buy alcohol on sundays. This could also hurt bars too.

so i ax for the third time today:
is Peyton tanking. By refusing to use his best QB-whisper efforts to "fix" Russ?

It’s his team and reputation. He made the call to trade for Russ. He has full control of football operations.
no. Peyton arrived after Russ
Peyton made Russ get rid of his entourage and his private office or whatever

Would the Broncos take Caleb Williams at #1? What do they do with Russ? Gotta be a massive cap hit.
why would Peyton gaf?
he would be happy.

is sean peyton purposely not 'fixing' Russ?
is Peyton tanking for a QB?

I didnt watch the game at Duffy's and order their Gridiron Nachos.
3-0 at Duffys 0-2 not at Duffys this season.
Duffys was not open at 930am because of the London game....so I guess we should blame Duffys
or . . . you didnt HAVE TO watch.
Or, go online and order the gridiron nachos ahead of time. Some restaurants will let you order when they are closed, for pickup when they open, if the "order" is the key. Lets get some data on that.
Or even, order them the day before. Eat during game of course, if its the eating that is key.
I'm not seeing championship effort, here. Maybe run some laps.

decided to not each chicken wings during the game.
Because it was 630 am here (pacific). And i wasnt hungry.
Like "hungry" should have ever mattered. I kept going back and forth, asking myself "so what? You dont need to be "hungry." Dude. Bills + TV = wings"
I know an apology is hollow at this point, but fwiw, i have learned my lesson. Wont happen again.

Jones had a 'neck injury'
Jairus Byrd had a 'foot' injury
If I'm Daniel Jones, or his "camp," the idea of "suffering" a difficult-to-validate injury might just cross my mind.
Finally Tyrod having to actually earn some of that gravy.
(or maybe I'm just mad the Bills lost)

These aren’t office jobs. I don’t understand why they need to adjust to the Time zone at all. Act like It’s a 9 am game. Keep the schedule on you time zone. Add some blackout curtains on the hotel windows cater the food at normal meal times.
I have never been jet lagged. From 12 years old until now, in my 50s. I'm not even sure what it feels like. I planned for it a couple times on business trips, just out of a sense of responsibility. But nope.
Possibly you and I are in the minority. Because unless its mass psycho-somatics or something, it must be real.

some players are just bad
first round picks are sometimes bad
Front offices sometimes make poor picks. Sometimes those are first rounders.
Live moves on. We did not win the "superbowl of the 2022 draft." oh well.

they must have one. They need to keep replacing aging veterans with rookies on cheap cost-controlled deals.

Agree about today. We dont have enough paper towels to clean up all the messes today.
Beyond josh, Dorsey is in over his head and i think if he were honest, he would admit it too. He seems afraid to do what we do best, over and over and over and over until they stop it. And to have a counter (or 3) ready for when they try to adjust. I seldom see a play in the first quarter that seems to be setting up something for later in the game. Each play seems like an island unto itself. So overall, we have no identity.
Also, the team "sleepwalks" (as many here have termed it). No fire. To the point that when we DO play with some fire, it seems so unusual that we rush here to praise it.
