  1. I predict the Bills will end up getting Andrew Luck 5th overall. How is this possible?? Well, I think Luck's stock will drop when all is said and done (The Combine won't help him). AND, I think the Bills will lose every remaining game to sneak up to the 5th pick.

WRONG.. What about the combine won't help the guy??? If there was two of this guy he could completely skip the combine and be picked #1 and #2 in the draft. NFL teams are drooling over this guy. He's been analyzed by every single expert over the course of his college career and I all that's come out of that is the same opinion.. that the guy is the best qb to come out in years.

  2. I'll start this off by saying i'm a huge fitz fan. I couldn't wait for the bills to give him a contract, thinking we finally had some stability at qb. That being said, he's been horrible the past 3 weeks. Not 100% his fault, but he can take a lot of the blame. Based on the last 3 games, would there ever be a situation where Thigpen is thrown into the game after a few more horrific performances by fitz? I don't mean as a permanent starter, but the same way a starting goalie would be pulled after giving up 5 goals in the first period to pump some life into the team. Or do we stick with fitz no matter what and let him break out of this slump on his own?

  3. I hope the best for jp. i don't think any qb could have suceeded with the coaching staff the bills had when he was on the team. I would of liked to see what someone like chan could have done with him as a young qb. I loved the guys deep ball, usually not accurate, but the only excitement bills fans got in those years was his 1 or 2 sky-high deep balls. That and a moorman coffin corner punt.

  4. I was at the game also, but didn't have any problems. It was my first time being away from the Ralph for a regular season game and expected some ragging from giants fans, but didn't really receive any. I was very surprised at the difference in atmosphere compared to The Ralph. When the Giants were on defense and the bills were on offense, the stadium was very quiet unless it came down to 3rd or 4th down. Giants fans also seemed to stay seated during those situations instead of standing.

It was a good experience and a great place to watch a game, but in the end I was very surprised by the lack of fan enthusiasm in the stadium.

As far as security bothering the guy who wrote the post, my guess is he's not telling the whole story. There was probably one to many beers involved, giving him and his buddies some extra courage to be loud and obnoxious. I'm sure there was some requests from the fans behind them to sit down so that their 8 year old kid could see the game, which was ignored. And at least 1 or 2 of those $10 beers that they bought were spilled onto the people in the row in front of them. Basically the same kind of things that happen from the 1 or 2% that ruin the game experiences for regular diehard bills fans at The Ralph.

  5. There is a huge difference between outsourcing manufacturing and buying an illegally produced, cheap knock-off.

So answer me this - if you needed a prescription drug to maintian your health or save your life, like a blood pressure drug, would you purchase the version that has been tested and approved by the FDA or the cheap knockoff from India or China because it is much cheaper. (it could contain rat poison or any other number of chemicals).

Granted, buying a jersey is not life or death but the concept is the same.

So let's say that you, and American, owned the factory in China that produced the jersey's for the NFL. You agree to a contract with Reebok, assure them that you provide a safe working environment, prevailing wages, and the products that you are selling meets all of Reeboks quality standards. There is significant cost to do this, and you are forced to charge a higher price.

The same guy next door is making jerseys that look similar but he uses tainted materials, not paying his workers or any royalties or taxes.

If YOU are the factory owner, how do you feel?

No but I would be the smart shopper and buy generics. The NFL is a completely different subject, they are a monopoly and there is no other competition for the fan to choose from, giving them the freedom to drive up prices without having to worry about the fans going elsewhere. I'll stick with the slightly defected counterfeits, i don't see the unfair patent of NFL jerseys ending anytime soon. Freedom to choose is what this country is all about. I choose to take my business else where when it comes to buying my jerseys and stick it to the greedy NFL.

  6. Congrats on supporting the import of counterfeit goods into the U.S. everyone. Keep up the good work, you should be very proud of yourselves.

Man you are a sucker... The NFL outsources a lot of their jersey manufacturing to Korea, china, vietnam... whereever reebok can get the cheapest labor. Why shouldn't the fan search for the best price while the NFL makes extra change from chumps like you?

  7. I'm a Bills/O's fan too. 162 games of Bills football would test my fandom. 4-12 = 54-108........... what a long boring season. I used to be able to name every single stat associated with the O's, now I can barely name their starting lineup. With football you can be 4-8 and technically still be in the playoff hunt, and once you are officially eliminated you look at what you will be able to build on next year.

I was watching baseball tonight before the 2010 MLB season they were previewing the O's. Someone, I belive Karl Ravech, said "The Baltimore Ories are the Buffalo Bills of baseball"

  8. can someone tell me if CJ is changing #s this year DH gate has a Spiller 21&28 jersey on the site

    He switched numbers with mckelvin.

Leave it to this group to not be able to answer a simple question. Instead I learned a lot about child labor and nfl economics....... alright i'm off to buy another away jersey on dhgate. :wallbash:

  9. Don't forget - the more Chinese knock off crap that you buy is less revenue that the Bills earn, so just buy it from the Bills store okay.

No thanks. I've watched a crappy product for too long and have spent too much money on a team while the threat of relocation still hangs over our heads. Maybe I'll use the savings from buying a bootleg jersey to see another game and Ralph can make his money back then.

  10. I've noticed people who have the bills home jerseys (solid blue with white numbers/lettering) from dhgate or some other chinese whole seller, end up with a jersey that looks obviously fake because the numbering and lettering is a greyish-reflecting material instead of just solid white. Because of this I've always bought white away jerseys in the past because the numbers and letters look fairly normal and the overall jersey looks more legit. I'm not sure why the home jersey's always seem to end up this way (maybe solid white is forbidden in china), but has anyone had any luck recently when ordering a new bills solid blue jersey?

  11. Wow, really searching for something to post and wine about eh? Is this Jeremy from wgr? I knew it, you sly dog you. If you wanted something to really complain about why not post about wgr's winer line? the worse idea anybody's every come up with.

PS....The best writer of this modern era, Scott Potoniak, came from the D&C.

  12. I don't think this year is a year to get rid of him, with all the uncertanty at wr. We have a lot of young wr, but who knows if any of them will be able to produce. Roscoe's a unique weapon that has been underused the past few years. I think last year everyone wrote him off after that PR fumble during that lame 6-3 loss against the browns, and was used as a scapegoat by jauron after that, but before that he was considered one of the top returners in the league. Hopefully if he's given the chance to produce at the wr position, which he hasn't had the chance to the past few years, he'll be able to make some big plays.
