    Honest question:

Why do teams play all #1s and #2s together?

For example, if we think Peterman is the starter, why play Benjamin with him? We know Benjamin will start. Wouldn’t it make more sense to play two of these guys who are vying for the #2 spot to play with the starting QB?

I think as a coach you'd like to get some chemistry going for your starters. Set them up for success & then evaluate what you have down the depth chart

What is interesting about the OLine is they are playing much more consistent. Having a QB who plays the system the way it is supposed to be played helps! Always said it is hard to block when you don't know where your QB is gonna be.

It helps having a QB who gets the ball out on time as well. 1, 2, 3 & boom its out. No more school lot football this year. While it may have been exciting to watch at times, you just can't run a modern day NFL offense with any consistency without sound fundamental football.

is there any way to watch online?  I don't think NFL Network is airing it.  IIRC the Bills game will be replayed 10:00 am tomorrow on NFL Network

  4. yeah teams like the Colts, Browns,  Bucs, Cardinals, Denver, Jets, Miami, Chicago, Washington. These are all teams that I'd say are worse off than our Bills. But since we're the Bills & don't have a clear cut starting QB, the national media puts us near the bottom.

As others have stated, our defense alone will keep us in games. And if our running game is on track & we don't turn the ball over too much, we'll remain competitive just on solid fundamental football. Here's hoping all this last place talk will help to light a fire under our a$$e$ & keep us in contention for a playoff spot.

But the NFL sure didn't do us any favors with how tough our schedule is. 1st half looks rough, 2nd half looks promising

We are at preseason game already?  Wish I could watch but I'd have to find somewhere nearby to watch it.

Had surgery during offseason and cannot even drive yet and it would be hard to convince my wife to drive me very far.

Yep, preseason game #1... the offseason is finally nearing its end! Sorry to hear about your surgery, but I hope you're getting better every day! I'm pretty sure the game will be televised on WKBW Channel 7 tonight. Like 95% sure & if for some reason it's not, theres streams online or bars you can go to. Hope you get back to 100% soon & enjoy the game however you watch it. GO BILLS!

Calculation of probabilities commencing... success rate unknown. Data stream intact. Positive vibes detected, thank you for offering. Equation complete. You are a great Bills fan indeed

    Wonder who Carmen Dickman is

After 5 minutes of google searches Carmen Dickman was on a series called The Chive. Apparently in 2017 they were reported to be dating. Here's a picture of her: Ironically she's been on a podcast for dysfunctional relationships... Go figure lol http://thechive.com/2013/07/25/carmen-is-definitely-the-chivette-of-the-week-28-hq-photos/

  8. Maybe package Coleman to the Raiders along with some draft picks & Washington. The Raiders have historically overvalued fast wide receivers. One angle nobody's considered is that Beane signed Coleman just to trade to Oakland in a package for Mack. I can't imagine why nobody else is considering this lol  ===> sarcasm F5, F5, F5, F5 :)

  9. Yeah I voted under too. With age should come maturity. And after last seasons mediocre performance I expect him to be more than motivated to have a better season. With his performance on the field & with not taking stupid penalties. The additions that McBeane have made will only help free him up to get after the QB too. Perhaps making him less frustrated & less likely to take bad penalties.

The beast in him will come out from time to time, but here's to hoping that he won't be stupid about it lol

  10. All i do is pay $40 per month for internet only & I watch all the NFL games in HD & for free. Not to mention any sporting event or tv series in the world or movie that gets released. But hopefully this year i'll go to a few more home games, because nothing beats the live experience.

That's a lot of speculation that you are implying that just has no evidence. Once again Goodwin was always reported to be a model citizen with the Bills. A lot of his injuries were contact injuries like concussions and violent ligament tears coming off of hits. It's not like Goodwin was getting non-contact injuries that could be attributed to training for a different sport. I think you are pushing a narrative as opposed to reading into the kind of player and worker he was when he was with the team.

I agree with u 99% The only caveat would be that perhaps him doing the track & field stuff, put extra wear & tear on his body & that it prevented his body from fully recovering. Its all speculation on my part obviously but with the ligament injuries it could make sense. It does suck for us that he turned into a star when he left. Such a Bills thing to happen

Is it just me, or is this Warren Sharp dude one of the current top dbags in existence?

No its not just you. Checking his twitter a lot of people think the same thing. Its like he has something personal against the BIlls.. Maybe he's like that with everyone, but he's largely irrelevant to me at this point

I looked it up, broke his hand a few times. The general consensus I keep seeing is he can’t catch.

Given how the Browns havent had a good QB in years, i suppose its possible some of those drops were due to bad ball placement.

Looking at their receiving stats from last year, most of the receivers had a 50% drop/catch rate. So theres that

Christian is the next great American sprinter. Google his 4.12 40, it doesn't look right. He's like a cyborg. His acceleration is the best I've ever seen (I'm a track guy).

Wow yeah i just watched it. The guy is like a machine. His running motion reminds me of one of those advanced robots that DARPA designs. If he was running towards me like that, i'd be terrified lol

John Ross has the fastest NFL time at 4.22, just beat CJ. I think what is relevant here is that speed doesn't mean jack. Other than CJ, none of those guys are really impressive NFL players.

Yep Ross has the combine record. I just posted the Christian Coleman time because that other poster u questioned confused the two. I probably should've quoted both of you. But yeah speed only goes so far. But for our squad its surely needed. 1st Skinner with the Sabres & now this with Coleman... its been a cool August so far lol
