  1. Whats going on? It's only week 6 and I'm reading about trading TO, Parrish, Denny and Schobel for draft choices. Benching Edwards for Fitzpatrick. I know we stink, but so what. We have had stinky teams for the last 10 years, arn't we use to it by now? Come on Bills fans let's not give up on this stinky team so fast. Anyway odds are it won't get any better next year so get back into this season. Go Bills !!!!!!

  2. If Trent is ever going to be a good NFL QB, he needs to grow out of being a good soldier and take command and ownership of the results of the offense. He's become a Jauron on the field. No outward leadership, No expression of Fire in The Belly. Just a methodical attempt to execute the plays called.

  3. How the Bills perform next Sundays against conference foe Miami will tell me what kind of character this team and coaching staff have. Every member of the Bills Organization should know how important it is to Bills fans to beat the Dolphins. It is obvious we don't have the talent to win our conference or even make the playoffs. But neither does Miami. So with their starting QB hurt, the playing field has become a little more even. Strength of chacter will be the deciding factor in this otherwise meaningless game.

  4. Most NFL teams build their teams to be able to beat their division foes. Excluding our monday night opener against the Pat's, I will be formulating my opinion of Russ Brandon, John Guy, Tom Modrak and Dick Jauron by the teams success against division foes. I can remmember a time when Bills fan felt the team was successful if the Bills were 2 and 14. As long as the two wins were against the Dolphins. If we beat the Dolphins twice and split with the Jets and Pat's then I'll feel we are building a competitive team. If we don't and Ralph Wilson doesn't clean house ( not just firing Jauron ) then I'll resign myself to the fact that the Bills will be nothing more than the AFC East cellar deweller.

  5. How would you like to start the season against the Patriots with an offensive line made up with two rookie guards, a rookie LT, and a center who was a back up last year in Carolina. On top of all that he has a TO who will be following him on the sideline complaining to that he's not getting him the ball. If I was him I'd ask my agent to get me traded ASAP.

  6. There was NO NEED to do so. Our defense is solid, and with TO we have a lot of really good skill players on offense. As long as the oline can block then I think we could have been pretty good. Even if they wanted Bell at LT, we could have had Bell-Wood, Hang-Butler-Walker. Or even BEll-Levitre-Hang-Wood-Butler, but don't release Walker. I don't know what they are doing. In all honesty, why bring TO in at all. If they were gonna make the Oline a mess whats the point. How is Trent gonna get him, or anyone for that matter, the ball? We suck

Do you really believe our defense is solid? We have one of the weakest front sevens in the league. Arn't you tired of watching Schobel make tackes 8 yards downfield. Watching poor Puz trying to cover the middle on pass plays. Giving the QB 15 seconds to find a reciever. I know everybody is focused on the offense. But our defense is the same weak defense that could not stop anybody last year.

  7. I don't know about you but I feel this season is over before it has started. As a long time Bills fan it's very sad. Instead of thinking about a possible playoff spot I'm wondering if Jauron will be fired by game five. I'm wondering who will be the next head coach. I'm wondering what new ploy Russ Brandon will use to keep fannies in the seats. I'm wondering if Ralph Wilson will ever bring in good NFL management that knows how how to build a competitive team.

  8. I finally sat down and watched the Buffalo Pittsburgh game all the way through. The offensive line is not doing the job, and at least at this moment is crippling every other element of the offensive game. Losing Peters, not drafting an offensive lineman as a first choice are the worst decisions the bills have made in years, and that includes a lot of bad decisions.

It is a wonder Edwards LIVED through that game. TO and Evans could have been open downfield, but TE would have been lying on his back long before he got a chance to throw. I was buying the argument of many that it was TE...but it ain't so. I have to LAUGH that we think bringing in another RECEIVER will help. Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and Andre Reed won't help if the quarterback doesn't have time to throw. Jim Kelly would be on his ass with this line. Joe Montana would be on his ass with this line. Unless we see better play from the o-line i'm seeing four wins as a major achievement.

The Bills Front Office hasn't a clue as to "how to build a competitive football team". Their player roster decisions appear to be designed to make a short lived splash rather than building a competitive team. How to you go through the entire off season and not address one of the weakest front sevens in the league. If their was a line on the Bills to be remade it was the "D" line.
