  1. and that's why i would rather have fred jackson back returning punts
  2. Thurman Thomas (cont).... "When I say clean house, I mean clean the effing house out!!!!!!"
  3. Thurman just updated his Twitter.. "Nobody is safe at One Bills Drive, they r cleaning house and bringing in a Football guy to run the ship. Jimbo say Ralph wil spend money!!!!"
  4. Yes, because my opinion on one call in Bills game translates to how I live my life. However, judging by your approach I can tell you take some things a little too seriously, and like to judge people based off of one opinion....let me know how that works out for you. Also, if you read my other post you would see that I clearly stated, "The call wasn't black and white, nothing in the world is." You have your opinion and I have mine, enough said. I would love to see how you interact with your co-workers with such close-mindedness. What I didn't do was flip out... like most on this board, over one call by DJ, that historically speaking, doesn't even rate in his top ten questionable calls.
  5. Lets take a look at what the Titans did on their 3rd downs before the kick: 3rd and 14 - Vince Young pass to Chris Johnson for 15 yards. FIRST DOWN!! 3rd and 3 - Penalty on Drayton Florence, 5 yards, automatic...FIRST DOWN!! 3rd and 1 - Chris Johnson 1 yard TD run......TOUCHDOWN!! 3rd and 12 - Vince Young scrambles for 12 yards and another....FIRST DOWN!! 3rd and 2 - Chris Johnson runs for 23 yards and another...FIRST DOWN!! 3rd and 8 - Vince Yound Pass to Bo Scaife for 10 yards and yet another....FIRST DOWN!! 3rd and 16 - Vince Young pass to Chris Johnson for 10 yards....OMG we finally stopped them!! So the Titans were averaging 10 yards a play on the previous 7 first downs, and that average is flawed due to the 1 yard TD run, and you think its a sure thing if the Bills go for it. Yes it's coaching scared, but I really don't blame Jauron anymore, whenever he has taken a chance this team has blown it. Yes, Jauron is a terrible head coach, but so are the players on this team.
  6. I get where your coming from, but the decision wasn't terrible. I realize the Bironas has been a great kicker, and that he has made countless clutch field goals in his career. Why do you have to figure that Bironas makes that kick though?? If its just because Bironas is a good kicker, then the same case can be made for how terrible the Bills were on third downs today. Why can't you assume that Titans would have gained at least 5-10 yards on 3rd down??
  7. The world isn't black and white, you have your opinion, and I have mine. I can see where people are coming from by thinking it was a bad call, and it can really be argued both ways.
  8. I love how everyone on here is flipping out saying that a coach needs to have confidence in his team to stop them on third and long. Jauron is without a doubt a terrible coach, but you coach to the situation, and he made the right move on that call. Think back to Losman against the Jets last year. There is a perfect example of a coach having confidence in his QB to put the game away....and how did that work out?? Ohh yea...everyone was calling for Jauron's head, saying that he was an idiot for not playing it safe. It was a stupid call because he shouldn't have had confidence in JP to make that play. The same situation as today, he had no reason to have confidence in our D on another 3rd and long, and he made the right call.
  9. Have you watched the game at all??? The kick would have been from 6 yards back had they accepted the penalty and that is only if the Titans didn't gain a yard. I may be wrong, but I think Tennesse has converted the last 4 third and long situations.
  10. I think you have to decline it...take your chance with the field goal
  11. What a dumb challenge. Not only was Vince Young clearly down, the Titans have almost nothing to gain from this challenge. Fisher just wasted a timeout in a one score game, and even without the challenge, they would have had a first and goal from the 1.
  12. Words cannot express how much I hate Rich Gannon.
  13. Levitre is looking much better at LT than at G. It makes sense, seeing as it was his position in college, but I think we all know Jauron's stance on playing players at their natural position.
  14. I graduated from high school the same year as Naaman, and I remember him running a 4.86 at the junior scouting combine. Everyone was pretty shocked because he was clearly the fastest player on the field, but his game speed didn't really translate to timed speed. I would say he is probably now running in the high 4.5 - low 4.6 range. Hopefully, with all of the big plays he has had in his career, teams will realize he is much faster on the field, and his 40 time won't hurt him too much.
  15. Same here...I knew you were joking, I just had to let my frustration out regarding our QB situation. I wish we had a QB controversy because then at least one QB would have to be playing relatively good.
  16. and i was replying to your joke...it wasn't a personal attack at you...next time ill just type 'haha'
  17. There was never a QB controversy....both of our QBs suck, and until we get a QB who can actually play the Bills will continue to suck.
  18. At least we dont have it as bad as Cleveland fans....Derek Anderson 3-12 23yds.
  19. WHY DO THAT ON 4th and 1!!! IF YOUR GONNA GO FOR IT JUST GO FOR IT!!
  20. Our D can't keep us in the game forever...the Bills need to commit to the run game on this drive and pound the ball down the field.
  21. I've been saying this every week but this offense is pathetic...
  22. With the way our offense is playing I wouldn't mind seeing back to back runs here to hopefully get into FG range.
  23. Hopefully they try to run it up the middle
