The Bills may get both Hyde and Hamlin back next year. Poyer may be back because of the unknowns for the other two. They really need to get two new interior linemen, at least. Morse is really good, but his injury history is worrisome for both the team and him. Plus, the guards are meh. I’d be okay with DB and WR free agents and draft two interior linemen in the first three rounds. Add a wideout or TE in there, too.

Admittedly, I was not happy with the way Beasley handled the vaccine issues. That said, I understand why Josh wants to have him back. I just worry that Beasley has aged out. That would mean another guy that is ineffective out running routes, a failed experiment that will take time and balls away from Knox and Davis during a playoff run.

I went to the Jets game this past weekend. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency - $170+. Had wings at Gabriel’s Gate after the game. It’s a twenty minute walk from the hotel. They don’t take reservations, so expect a wait. There are a lot of options for food. There is a bus that runs to/from the stadium for $5 each way. The pickup is at the bus station, a ten minute walk from the hotel. Go Bills!

Dophins this week and next. Tickets against the Phins are starting at $195, and maybe then the price would drop
Kind of miss being irrelevant in late December, and $30 tickets. Well, not too much...
I’m going to the game next week. We bought club seats in late summer for $225. They are $600+ now.

Win the Super Bowl.

I’m in the camp that thinks Tre has done enough for our team to get the benefit of the doubt here. It has been a year; the expectation is that he is ready based on other similar injury and recovery times. Ford field can be tricky. Let’s see if he is ready for games after this one.

Not including lyrics ranks right up there with a fumble in your own end zone.

Buffalo Chophouse is my go to when I come back for a game
Russell's Steaks is number 2
The Chophouse has been closed on Sundays. We stay at the Hyatt and used to walk to the Chophouse, There were almost always Bills players there after games.

We go to 1 or 2 games a year. I’m getting older (65), and I’ve sat all over the stadium. About 10 - 15 years ago, we started buying club seats off the secondary market. We’re much happier there now. I wouldn’t be able to stand a whole game, nor would I want to. Big plays, big third downs, of course we stand and cheer. I’m lucky to be in a financial situation that allows it.

I’m not with the talk that missing Davis won’t be a big deal. That undervalues Davis. The Bills can definitely overcome it, but he will be missed.

I took "biggest season" as most impactful to the team, so I voted for Cook. I think he'll be our rookie MVP as he puts immense pressure on the D and brings the offense to another level (which is an unreal thing to imagine).
Obviously, I agree. He will take little swing passes for ten or fifteen yards whenever Josh needs him.

Always respected him. I hope this time is peaceful for him and his family. I was a fan of his, and I liked Hank and the whole team really. The 60’s were odd (for a number of reasons). I was young and a fan of Cleveland, Buffalo, Dallas and Kansas City at different times.

Yes, odd is the right word if you are letting this affect your everyday life. If that isn’t happening to you then you are in the same boat as the person you are criticizing.
Let me clarify this because it obviously struck a nerve. We are called the Bills Mafia, not my chosen term but so be it. When I see a guy with a Bills hat on, I say something like, "Go Bills". When I drive by a house with a Bills flag, I feel a connection. I don't know the guy, but I know we share a love for the Bills. We are like a big family, which, I think, is meaning of the term Bills Mafia. I include the Bills fans, players, coaches, staff and owners in this "family". I particularly like the current owners. I live in Fairport, so I feel a connection to Kim, although I don't know her personally. Maybe I'm a sensitive guy, but when my friends are "hurting" by extension I'm hurting. I don't mean to say she is literally like family to me; I simply feel for her and her family and you, our Bills Mafia. I'm not crying in my soup. I'm just trying to understand how we can claim to be a part of this Bills Mafia but not be hurting for each other when something serious could be happening here. That's it.

I am not hurting, but I have prayed several times for her to get better. I find the odd demigod status that some on here have for the ownership team to be... well, odd.
You pray for her, but you are not hurting? So you don’t feel sad the Pegula family is worried about her, and by extension, the whole Bills family is worried? That is what family does: worries about each other. Odd is the right word alright.

One of the many pleasures of being a Bills fan is being a part of what has come to be called the Bills Mafia. One of our leaders is hurt, and as this thread shows, when one of us is hurting, we all are hurting. Get Well Soon, Kim.

I think I'd rather listen to ESPN than Dead and Company.
Maybe I'm getting old, but I don't understand the reference. I really like the Grateful Dead (went to about 40 shows from '73 - '90, several in Buffalo at the stadium like the one with 10,000 Maniacs and the one with Dylan, and at the Aud and a great one at Shea). I haven't seen Dead and Co., but the music is good, although I think we all miss Jerry. Is this something about John Mayer? Honestly, I'm confused. Okay - I am getting old. I re-read the title 🤪

The Bills traded a ton for Sammy. What did that get us? I’d love to have a great #2 corner, too, but sticking near the allotted picks each year seems more prudent than trying to catch lightning in a bottle.
How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?

Tim Graham just picked the Bengals for the win. He must enjoy being the contrarian.
