  1. Rapid Reaction - 10 Observations About Today's Game

    10) Well, if no one else will, I'll say it: After nearly 20 years and enduring QBs the likes of Collins, Johnson, Holcolmb, Losman, Edwards and Orton, we have finally found a true Field General with the ability to lead us to meaningful games in January.

Tyrod was a beast today ( 21 of 29 for 277 yds and 3 TDs )and he is proving to be a QB that can beat you with his arm and not just his legs.

    9) It sure is nice having a TE that can change the complexion of a game after so many years of being on the wrong end of other teams using that position against us up and down the field.

Charles Clay wreaked havoc against his old team and it is becoming more and more apparent why the Bills targeted him with that big offer sheet in FA.

    8) Even though he missed on that 54-yd FG try, it was also nice to see Dan Carpenter have a big game against the team that cut him loose.

I don't know if he'll ever get out of Rex's doghouse ( or even if he should. The hate/hate relationship they have is good for scoreboard differential) but I believe when the game is on the line Dan will always be "The Man."

    7) "Downtown" Preston Brown is causing a lot of Bills fans to say, "Kiko who?" these days with his stellar play. His two picks and return for 6 today is going to quickly make his name known outside of the 716.

    6) Somebody please tell Rambo that Darby is on the same team. Twice today Bacarri went all Jayne Mansfield on number 28 and nearly decapitated the stellar rookie.

Maybe Darby needs a red "no hit" jersey when he playes with Rambo. :)

    5) Am I the only one starting to wonder if Sammy Watkins is going to be one of those guys that just can't stay healthy?

I love the kid and when he's healthy he is a true force. I just hope he isn't known by the moniker "Hammy" Watkins when his career is said and done.

    4) This defense is nearly impossible to run on. So long as the other team doesn't have a HOF QB that throws nearly 60 times while getting the ball out in 1.7 seconds, teams are going to have a hard time beating us while being one dimensional.

The Cold Front is just getting warmed up.

    3) Karlos Williams is special. His combination of size, blazing speed and power makes him a beast to bring down. Today he became the first Bills back to rush for over 100 yards in more than a season.

He and Shady make a great 1-2 punch. The only question is who should be 1 and who should be 2?

    2) The O-Line deserves some praise. The Bills have put up over 30 points every week and Tyrod has had ample time to sit in the pocket and pull the trigger on some big pass plays.

Let's hope that Miller and Henderson aren't hurt seriously.

    1) Here are two words that we haven't thrown around after a game for awhile - Total Domination.

The Bills were the better team in all 3 phases today and the Fish weren't so much squished as they were put in a Waring Blender and put through every stage from liquify to puree.

I don"t think Eli Manning is going to get much sleep this week.

Does it have to be rapid?

  2. I felt it was good sign to see him on the sidelines enjoying himself instead of in getting treatment. Not that I know how NFL trainers address a calf strain. Either way, if its dinged up, I hope that he gets it back to where it should be before coming back so that it doesn't linger all season. Obviously I was hoping to see him play this weekend, but rather see him make it down the stretch.

You could still be in pain and laugh you know?

  3. All I can think of is on the road against Oakland... road games, especially 5 out of 6 weeks (or whatever it is) can change things pretty dramatically.

    Oakland????

    Ha ha.

It will be another blow out. I pretty much guarantee it. Despite what they think they are doing over there. This is not the same team from last year. It's way more improved.

  4. Just saying I'm happy we started the first three games out 2-1. Before the season started a lot of people including myself easily could have seen our team fall 0-3 with our an situation looking like a hot mess. But here we are 2-1 headed into week 4 against the Giants at our stadium. Then the week after that we play the Titans. I can easily see us going 4-1. Go bills

Not me. I predicted exactly 2-1.

  5.

Oh god...here we go. Lets see, 2 fumbles were by the same guy Dion, who is NEW to the team. The other was a strip sack that no amount of PSI, glue, tape, etc would help.

So, I am not seeing the connection to PSI in those 3 fumbles. Especially since 2 are by a guy who has 3 fumbles in 73 career carries. Must be the PSI lol.

Why are you using Dion as an excuse AS IF THE FUMBLES DIDNT OCCUR?

    C'mon guys. What the heck?

Maybe a little early to tell. But so far the stat line, NOT THE freaking PLAYER. The overall stat line is not helping the pats*

  6. I liked the game.

I enjoyed Kirk getting a taste of reality.

I wish I could have found a redeeming quality such as that in the game. I've already watched Kirk get a taste of reality in plenty of games. Don't know what anyone sees in the guy. He was terrible against the Giants last year throwing 4 picks, and was eventually benched in favor of Colt McCoy. Jay Gruden is a perfect example of why nepotism can be bad.

I have not seen him get beat up too many times.

So that's why I enjoyed it.

Plus I wanted to see how the Giants looked since we play them in 2 weeks.

Also lets get it straight. I didnt love it. I just enjoyed it a little.

  7. right but in the post i was commenting on (which is the comment he replied to) you said "if they fumble two more times theyve matched last years total" which is not true, and makes it sound MUCH more skewed.

If they lose 2 more times early in the season, their LOST category will look bad. (Same as last year bla bla bla) I'll be the family guy evil monkey pointing at the pats.

They are on pace for that in just 2 games. So we will see.

  8. and the problem is he keeps saying FUMBLES but quoting the stats for FUMBLES LOST to make it sound even worse.

    What's wrong with you dude?

    I argued both categories.

They are fumbling more AND losing more.

You need to re-read my posts. That's not what Im doing. I cant be doing that. Since they are looking bad in both categories.

    They have fumbled 3 times. 3 x 8 = 24

They are losing more too. Lost 2. 2*8 =16

So AT THIS POINT they are on pace to fumble 24 times. They fumbled 13 times last year. So YES on pace to fumble 11 more times than last year. That's worse.

And they are on pace to LOSE 16 fumbles. They lost 2 so far. That's horrible. In 2 games they have already lost half of all lost fumbles from an entire season. That too is worse.

    When you're wrong, just shhh.

My disclaimer for the 100th time. The only problem with this thread is that it MAY be too early. So there.

  9. Not sure why it has to be Shady or Taylor.

I would much rather have a Watkins, Woods, or Gilmore jersey.

    Good point.

Taylor for the glorified qb position reasons. It is what it is..

Shady because he's a top 5 rb. Rb champ just a few years ago. This guy is special. Special in Philly and will be here too.

You're right about Watkins too. That could have been an option too. I love Woods. But he's pretty much going to be a #2 his entire career.

There is a site called Aliexpress.com. It's basically a website that all of the asian jersey replicators use to sell their products through. It's kind of like amazon where the website is the store, but the product comes from a series of buyers. The best part is that you can pay with a normal Visa or Mastercard, none of that Western Union crap. They also work off of feedback, so returns are possible. But, for $20-25 a piece, who really cares.

The person that I buy from on the site is called Aimee's Store. The link is http://www.aliexpres...m/store/1679256. Search through her store. If you don't see someone you want, you have the option to contact the seller directly. I've had her make me boys, girls, and men's jerseys. They are quick to respond.

If you have any issues, just let me know.

If nfl.com buys from Aimees store I'll be really upset.

  10. I don't get player jerseys for fans. You are a fan of the team? Or just that player?

Especially in the current NFL. Shell out cash for overpriced jersey with name and number that will most likely not apply in a few years. Many thought they were safe with 22 Jackson. Well if you are keeping the jersey for snapshot in time, fine.

    But these players don't stick.

I go custom, put my own name on with 00. I'll never get traded or cut

    Yes for snapshot in time.

  11. someone on the wall of fame.

they won't leave in a year or two.

True. Made that mistake with my T.O. jersey...

    For real though:

    Nice!!!!!

Since Nike took over making the uniforms, I haven't like the quality of them except for the $300 ones and I'm not paying that. I've been buying them online from one of those Asian sites and have loved them.

The iron on numbers that Nike tries to sell as fan jerseys are just terrible

    Go with the flow dude.

  12. I'm gonna say Taylor. I just have a feeling that Shady's injuries are going to keep flaring up and Karlos is gonna be good enough to move on from him sooner than later.

Now, if you are a yearly jersey purchaser, I'd go with Shady

I do buy one a year. Pretty much I would be good with either. I'm letting game 3 decide my jersey fate.
