  1. Peterson if he is there at #12, too much upside to pass on, but I wouldn't move up to get him. Lynch's stutter scares me, it's great to have occasionally but he does it every single time. That just does not work as well in the NFL. I would go defense, which wasn't a choice, unless Peterson, by some very minor miracle, falls to #12. This forces your hand. As I would love someone to run well behind this offensive line.
  2. well those are two options, but if they felt he belonged on this team, they could also try to reach an agreement with him during the year, before the season ended. It is a new concept in Buffalo, but does work. However this would be difficult after trying to TRADE HIM and showing him he isn't wanted.
  3. When this guy was in rehab, all we ever heard was how hard he worked and how he was ahead of schedule. We all laughed when he was on the phone with Drew and thought it was funny. I'm sorry (and would hate to see it happen), but everyone outside of western NY feels that if the owner can not afford the team there in today's NFL, they should move. Noone want's to hear an NFL billionare cry poor in today's world. I have never heard any player or coach question his heart or say he was a cancer, in fact I am astounded by the new acquzations that come up each and everyday and am wondering where people come up with this crap. Also... where is this he doesn't know the playbook comming from? i have never seen it, or heard it from a reliable source, anyone have a link. This guy was awesome in his 1st year. The last two he was behind a terrible line with a team built to run 1st and throw second, everyone and I mean everyone stacked the box against the Bills and dared them to try to run. He is young and has had a short NFL career. What did OJ Simpson do his 1st 3 years on bad team, nothing! This guy may never be LT, but he will be a very good back and we will regret trading him if we do.
  4. Makes sense to me, Hey Marv, get this guy out of town, we're bored with this topic...
  5. Nah, seen lot better. Some of them were even funny.
  6. Oh and these guys are so much better? Certainly he had a bad, hell terrible year but he has more potential than these guys. Playing hurt this year certainly had allot to do with most of his problems this year...err at least those on the field, which are the only ones I care about. Funny how no one was talking about replacing him two weeks ago and now the team can't go on without doing so. IMO it's just a waste of a draft pick, or another asset in a trade when he is more than capable for next year. Then we can look at replacing him, I just think we have more pressing needs. From the Baltamore Sun...A first-round pick out of the University of Miami in 2003, McGahee is coming off his worst season, rushing for 990 yards and six touchdowns. In his first two seasons, he averaged 91.3 yards in games he started. The Bills are listening to trade offers for McGahee because he is expected to be a holdout in training camp if he doesn't get a contract extension. McGahee also didn't endear himself to Buffalo this offseason with a run of bad publicity. He was hit with his third paternity suit in two years and then suggested in an interview with Penthouse magazine that the Bills should move to Toronto (though he later said his comments were taken out of context).
  7. I am sorry, I just don't get all of the trade Willis talk? So he said the Bills should be in Toronto, outside of Buffalo most of the country would probably agree with him. I would hate to see it, but lets face it no one wants to hear an NFL owner talk about being poor. But all of that is another topic. We have seen Willis excell the way he did in his 1st year back and in small batches since, usually when he has something to prove. He now has a line and the possibility of doing it again and something to prove. trading him, and his below average salary, to pick up someone else's garbage does not make sense. if these guys were good they wouldn't be available, I'm sorry A list running backs are still not mid-level cap casualties in the NFL.
  8. I disagree and think Willis is worth a second round pick or don't make the trade. We own his contract, it is cap friendly. We don't need to give up anything to get him. Sure we can get someone that could have a season similar to what Willis had last year. But could we get someone who has the potential to vastly exceed those numbers like Willis can? Willis could be a cancer and hold out, but Willis should be motivated in the final year to show his true value (his thoughts) and get his huge payday. Sure Willis could simply be average and produce numbers anyone could, but he has the potential to have a huge season, especially with the O-line changes. We won't get that with a 3rd round pick and that's why others are interested in him! Why are we assuming he hasn't looked at the recent roster moves and realized staying just might prove to be quite lucrative for him ala Nate? Maybe just maybe this actually works well for the Bills, or maybe this has indeed been part of a plan? Anyone can run well behind a good line, a small percentage of players have the possibility of doing something special. …then I woke up. ;-)
  9. The New York Post had them picking up Willis for a "second day" pick in an article the other day. LMAO
  10. Can't we just get the guys from Rochester like the hockey team does?
  11. Awesome and how it should be..loved ya while you were here...now break a leg.
  12. What's he supposed to say, my coach is an idot, I should have kicked?
  13. It's obvious...another injured HB! Travis was through, showed it today, Willis must be too.
  14. What's he supposed to say "The coach is an idot, I would have made it"?
  15. I'm sorry, lifelong Bills fan, the kick was a no brainer. Better than a hail mary...you do the math. If it's so windy, why not call a set play for a 1st down? Something where the odds are in your favor? Find me a person watching who was not shocked? Lindel may or may not have made it, but he field goal made more sense. See what response you hear over the next week from any non Bill.
  16. This was the absolute dumbest set of 4 downs that I have ever seen. Even if they kicked the field goal they left way too much time on the clock. 4 pass plays? If you can pass, you can kick. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. If Jauron doesn't call the plays he's an idot for letting that one in, certainly he has a say in that call.
  17. I've been waiting to the last minute to turn my dish on, is Friday's game on Direc TV? Anyone know?
  18. It's not cheap, if it was $29.95, well that's OK, but it's $44.95. That aint cheap! Andif it's just a bunch of rah, rah go team....I'll probably pass.
  19. I've been thinking about signing up for Bills Digest. Seems kind of expensive, anyone getting it, is it worth it?Or is it just the same stories that you find on ESPN, this site, and others, anyway? Is there any type of discount for members of this site? I used to get it, or some other publication like it years ago, but it always came late. I would get it the second Monday or Tuesday after the game. When I complained I was always given the run around. Things like "your postman must be stealing it" or " well... you live in Florida, so it must be Dolphin fans taking it from your mailbox". So I would like to know if people out of state are getting theirs on time. Thanks, I appreciate your time.
