Seems a little harsh to put someone in jail for spreading. Perhaps there is more to this story.

The thread subject literally is about taking away Josh's running. It's quite obvious my comment was about Josh and not the entire offense.
I'll leave you to your book since it seems like you may need to read up a little more.
Whether you realize it or not, you have made my point.

Bills offense has not been executing very for the last three games. Perhaps they are not practicing as well as they should.

My statement went over your head. The Ferrari is Josh.
I don't think so. Allow me to suggest you read "Language in Thought and Action" by Hayakawa.

With a lucrative contract on the line, I would think we are seeing the best version of Gabe Davis. That being said if this is Gabe's best, he might be released instead of being offered a lucrative contract.

McDermott has the keys to a Ferrari and drives it like a prius.
I wouldn't call the play of Knox, Davis, and missing 5 starters on defense a Ferrari.

I know the coaches and fans were holding their breaths when an earlier injured Josh Allen went to the defense of Spencer Brown. But you just have to love it.https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/josh-allen-fight-lineman-bills-giants-bobby-okereke-spencer-brown

Gabe Davis's strength is his ability to track and secure the long ball. In the Bills scheme, I don't know if that is or isn't the most important characteristic for their number two receiver. I will say this, I think the Bills miss two elements in their passing game; a Beasley-type slot receiver and a reliable tight end.

I hope Fournette is in shape. Murray, Fournette, and Harris are the right type of backs to have if you want to have a smash-mouth run game.

I'm surprised he didn't use the "F" word at least three times in that remark. Salah and his D-coordinator must hold the record for using the "F" word in the Hard Knocks Show. I was embarrassed for his family.

I was buying the hype that Poona Ford was a steal in Free Agency. Very disappointed that he could not earn a jersey on game day. Hopefully, he can be a lot more than a body on the D-line rotation.

Don't know if it's feasible, but would like to see the Bills trade for a D tackle that would command attention.

Don't think Dabol would coach with McDermott.

I hope Josh Allen is not reading any of this S--t.

Covering two gaps and tackling a player in space is all at the same time is not a "basic football fundamental"
I don't have a replay, but from what I recall Tre had a clean shot but resorted to a poor arm tackle attempt.

White was covering two gaps. As a coach, you want that?

The alignment is the bigger issue.
White, who should have made the tackle, but was also put in a tough spot covering two gaps in that instance.
This is where we disagree. From my perspective, you can have your defense in the ideal alignment, but if you can execute the basics, like tackling, the alignment doesn't matter very much.
55 minutes ago, GunnerBill said:Yea but it wasn't the root cause of the play. That was like your backup generator failing after someone forgot to switch the main generator on.
This is where we differ. From my perspective, if you can't perform the basic football fundamentals, there isn't an alignment that will help you succeed.

Correct but as I said straight away in the GDT thread a running back running off tackle should never have the corner be the only man in contain or the first contact. There was clearly an alignment mistake.
Bernard got better at liming them up as the game went on. It is where no pre-season hurts him.
Alignment mistake or not, what should never happen or not, the play would have been a non-event had White not whiffed on making the tackle. DB's tackle RB's at every level of football, including the NFL.

If you take the time to read the thread instead of making smarmy comments, you might learn more about it.
Had White made the tackle, this thread would not have been written.

Are we talking about the Halls run of 83 yards that would have gained only 2 yards if Tre White didn't whiff on the tackle?

I would agree with Josh that he lost the game for the Bills with his poor decisions. However, that being said, I don't think we will face a better defense than the Jets. You have to give Joe Douglas credit, he's built a defensive roster that might be the best in the league. I'm sure I'll get some arguments from 49ers fans.

I think the Bills found a real Right Guard.
-
Can't evaluate the secondary with Rodgers going down, but the Bills pass rush looked good. Torrence looked solid.
-
Had Rodgers played the whole game, the Bills might have been embarrassed last night.

Maybe Josh will do an Aaron Rogers so we can sign Bosa.
