  1. I read cbs sportsline and espn mostly. I don't miss a Bill Simmons article or podcast (except some of the hoops stuff). Not to kiss up to Timmy, but I really liked the blogs on ESPN last football season, and I enjoy alot of the ESPN chats. I agree on the videos, I don't need them, and Insider is BS. CBS sportline is where I play fantasy so I am on there and usually check out some of the articles. The writers are average at best though.

  2. I know Mike, he is still a nice guy. He has an on air persona that I think is pretty funny most of the time. He gets people talking about him and the station for better or worse. I guess he is not a huge football fan per se, but he still roots for the Bills. To suggest he is not a hockey or Sabres fan is crazy, he is a huge fan of both. God forbid somebody wants to talk about tennis, baseball or golf in Buffalo. Anyway, just adding a different point of view.

  3. I keep reading that people think Roscoe Parrish could be like Wes Welker in the right system, but isn't Josh Reed really that guy. With Owens and Evans on the outside could we see Reed catch 80+ balls for 850 yards and 7-10 TD's. He really played well at times last year as the de facto # 2 receiver. He could eliminate the need to spend a high pick on a TE and give Fine a year to show what he can do. Sorry if I'm hitting a topic that has been done alot, but I'm newish to TSW.

  4. Here's a question: have any of you seen Scheffler play??

I live in Denver, watched him play quite a few times. He has good hands, and good speed. He can get good separation. He is certainly better right now that anyone on the Bills roster. I think Pettigrew has a much higher ceiling and is a way better blocker. The Denver rollout play works well with a Scheffler type and the Bills would want to incorporate that type play to get him involved.

  5. Union was dead on with his comments. A pick of OT at 11 makes no sense. I don't like it at 28 either, then you just look cheap and not concerned with winning because you've traded an established semi-star in Peters for an inferior unknown who is cheaper and a 4th and 6th. If Beatty or Britton are still there with our 2nd rd pick, go for it. Fix the D in the first round: DE and LB.

  6. Why is it that so many assume that there is no way Mack falls to 42 (I admittedly don't know much about him) when a guy with an informed opinion like McShay thinks he will? Just wondering. If he is gone, it seems Unger would be a good choice as well. If we take an OT with # 11 I am gonna be so bummed.

  7. Totally agree with Mauluga @ 28 if he's there. I don't think Britton is much of an upgrade, especially this year. LB's can come right in and help, so Rey or Lauranitis would be a good choice there for me. I agree with the majority that a TE in the third would be the way to go. I could still see them trading the 28 and a fourth to move up to 21-23 and grab Pettigrew, which I would love.

  8. Long time reader, first time poster. I know this topic has been hit on alot, but I do love the idea. If the NFL wants to keep teams in the smaller markets, why not try the Green Bay thing. They could raise plenty of money and it is totally a Buffalo fit. Blue collar town owning the team. BTW I own a sweet pair of original Zubaz, never miss a Duff's # 2 with loganberry when I am back in Buffalo, and dring Labatt all the time.

    GO BILLS!
