  1. Andre Smith, AL. Why? Because it's the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills don't care about bringing in talented AND high character guys. It's one OR the other. You're either talentless, with a high motor and character, or you have talent but you have no character. It's how the Bills operate, and it's worked so well so far. Mike Williams II. The future is bright as usual in Buffalo.

  2. I want to know where the idea of finding a quality LT is sooooo hard came from? All you have to do is draft one early and it seems like 90+% chance you are set. The Broncos got a Pro Bowl caliber LT last year at 12, why cant the Bills get one this year at 11? All of the tackles taken in the first last year, aside from the Lions kid who was injured, started and played well at LT. There are 4 top tackles this year, and a few more that are second half of rd 1 guys, if Peters is traded I am not worried about finding a replacement, hell Id be ok with Chambers.

Great!! What about the other 4 poitions? They are all garbage. The Bills could just bring in some free agents because they have so much sucess with that. Buffalo is a quality free agent desert, and has been for years. Face it...the Bills are not moving in the direction we would like.

  3. T.O. is not "mentoring" anyone, you used that word not me. It was clear from the interview Hardy doesn't need(or want) a mentor, hes needs skilled people around him to show him how to be an NFL receiver. Evans and T.O are two of the best receivers in the league.

If I am a young receiver in the league, I am soaking up everything T.O. says and does that pertains to the football field. Regardless of his off the field antics(which I disapprove of just as much as anyone here), he is an all-time great and has model work ethic and preparation.

That's where you are so off base. His off field antics aren't a problem. It is his on field antics that are the issue. So you want him to learn to complain whenever balls aren't coming his way, you want him to throw his qb under the bus whenever he can, you want him to learn how to divide the locker room against one another. The guy is, and has always been a cancer. You are a fool if you think having TO on the Bills is a good thing. They have nobody on their team to keep him in line. He is going to tear this locker room apart, and you don't even need to be semi-intelligent to see this.

  4. If Peters leaves, I think it's safe to say the Bills have one of the three worst O Lines in the NFL. What a combination...A terrible O line that can't give the QB any time, a criminal RB, a QB that played so well in the cold weather and an aging, skills declining WR that is a cancer in the locker room. What a time to be a Bills fan. I can see it now...Trent drops back to throw, scrambles around for his life because the line can't block anyone, and he throws it away for the 10th time that game. TO comes to the sideline complaining about how open he was, and all of the proven winner leaders on the Bills come over to settle him down. Oh wait, the Bills have no proven winner leaders on the team. That's ok, I'm sure it's all going to work out. Once the Bills are eliminated from playoff contention (which will probably be pretty early), I'm sure TO will continue to show the professionalism he always has.

  5. I know, I know, he's going to be different with the Bills. I can't wait for that 1st (I say 1st because there will be several) 3 game losing streak. I know TO is going respond real well to that. That's ok, because if he acts up the Bills have a locker room full of leaders and proven winners. But at least he's still real explosive. Oh wait, he had less than 40 yds in half the games last year. It's ok though, because the Bills have so much more talent surrounding him than the Cowboys did. Uh oh.

  6. I am listening to the Late Hits replay this morning and they just had a great interview with James Hardy. Obviously they asked him about the jersey topic and he said the front office just asked him to change and that he didn't care at all. He said he picked 81 because it was Randy Moss' number and that hes going to make a name for himself with his play not his number.

They asked him about his "tough" first year and his response was refreshing. He basically explained how none of the routes he ran in Indiana are used in our offense and that is just took him some time to learn dozens of new routes on top of an NFL playbook. He sounded very focused and eager to become an impact player. It was also very clear to me he wasn't "dumb", he sounds like a smart kid and no doubt has the drive to be a very good football player.

Anyways, it definitely quelled some of my fears about Hardy. As bad as it may look for him, with Lee Evans and T.O. next to him every day I can't imagine a more beneficial situation for him at this point. As of now I'm still a James Hardy believer.

Are you friggin kidding with this line..."with Lee Evans and T.O. next to him every day I can't imagine a more beneficial situation for him at this point". Nothing like having a locker room killing, skills declining, loud mouth WR mentoring your young players.
