  1. Why, Oh why, do we NYer's continue to elect our current state legislators?

Our state has the dubious honor of having the most dysfunctional government in the US. The 2009 - 2010 State Budget was developed in secret by three men, and many New Yorkers are outraged...but not enough to determine which legislators are incumbents prior to the next election, then vote for their challengers.

One mo' time: If you always do what you always did; you'll always get what you always got.

Is this a football board? <_<

  2. So T.O. signs and mentions that he is now playing for "North America's Team" at the presser.

Then he gives his first radio interview to Fan 590. Last weekend he's court-side at a Raptor's game in an official team jersey.

Finally, he gives his first television interview since his signing to TSN.

I've got a pretty thick skin, but maybe he should talk to a Buffalo TV station and consider turning up for a Sabres' game.

Did the team put him in charge of selling the proposed 2nd game to Toronto? Is Roger's Communication sliding him some cash under the table? Is he in love with poutine?

    Conspiracy theorists discuss.

PR PR PR.... He is a PR plan to sell Suites and Jerseys.... And oh yeah catch the football

  3. At least the problem with Mike Williams was scouting rather than grossly misunderstanding the needs of the team. It would have been a great pick had he been a star tackle, and a solid pick even if he were just reliable.

It's our current administrations' repeated decisions to ignore our needs that gets to me.

    Quality Post

  4. If we cut some players, I think we would be able to trade for Tom Brady. Cut Peters, Schoebel & Kelsay to clear up wasteful cap for space. Then trade our 1st, 2nd, 3rd round picks to the Pats. Then it would make us instant Super Bowl contenders. Go Bills!

    What do you guys think?

    :D

    Dumbask

  5. Hey we might not have any options left to keep the bills here except own a little bit of the team ourselves.. My question is what are the rules of public trading? can people from other states contribute? if we were to publicly trade would you throw down money? lets disscuss

There was a great article on ESPN about this a few months ago. I will try to find it and post

  6. If this guy is a really good guard then I think it's time the Bills get creative...

    Waters for Whitner

    Waters for Hardy

Waters for Parrish and a third

If they did trade Whitner, they could let Scott and Bowen (he's too small to be a LB) battle for the SS spot.

    Funny...... Stupid but Funny

  7. Interestingly, I read on ESPN's UniWatch blog a while back that in college games in the upcoming season, both teams will be allowed to wear their dark uniforms if there is reasonable difference in colors (e.g. Notre Dame in navy blue vs. USC in crimson).

Don't know when/if the NFL would consider it.

Wasn't UCLA fined for this against USC or was it the other way around???

  8. Yes, the press buzz is true.

Dick Jauron is apparently a no-show for these "voluntary" off-season workouts.

I know they are allegedly "voluntary". I know that there are those who would make a claim that he is just a coach and working out is not a necessity. However, like a player who has a solid rep for always being in good physical condition even without a voluntary workout, a good teamer would set the tone by being here for a workout. Jauron needs to set a tone that these workouts are important because if he is not there then clearly these workouts must be truly voluntary.

I think the Bills should definitely get their panties all up in a wad over this no show. Sure, he has a good excuse as he is at the pre-planned NFL meetings, but would we accept a recently acquired player also missing this voluntary workout merely because he had already committed to be elsewhere when he was not even on the team?

I definitely think we should freak out mindlessly about a no-show at the voluntary workouts

Chill out!!! Ralph is in MI... And his "inner circle" went to CA for the owners meeting.... And TO is in better shape than anyone in Western NY!! Worry about a fat fanning LT named Peters
