  1. Everytime i try to wrap my head around the fact that Owens is a Bill, i still can't.

I am not sure i will really believe it till i see him on the field opening night in Foxboro.

I got caught up like evryone else in the draft over the last few weeks, and did not think as much about Owens. But now that things have died down, i am still in disbelief. Any you guys feel that way too?

I am really looking forward t the Bills 1-0 and then..... Torching the Bucs at the home opener!!

  2. I live in SW Fla now, originally from Buffalo, so my hatred for the Dolphins still runs deep, even thought the rivalry isnt what it used to be. I love going to Miami every year for the game and there is usually just as many Buffalo fans there. And yes Miami fans still have no class in winning, or in losing. Must be the redneck mentality that most of their fans have. ( Florida Crackers as they refer to themselves )...so yeah team i still hate most...Miami, but the Cheatriots are a close second.

Coach:......Bill Belicheat.....NO CLASS at all as evident in the famous SuperBowl defeat walk off...i want to take off his damn hoody and choke him with it, smug a$$ s.o.b.

Player:......Louis Oliver.......Hell of a player who seemed to play his best games against Buffalo, I was torn, i wanted to put Tom Brady, but thats just too obvious, until we beat him, I cant say much.

    Patriots!! F'em

    Bryan Cox

    Bellicheat

  3. Buffalo is preparing this team to compete realistically with all the other teams in the AFC east. They got killed by the 3-4 noseguards in the division hence getting rid off all three interior offensive linemen. Yeah Butler did suck also and his days as a guard are just about over in Buffalo. The additions of TO and Rhodes was all about the points. Proven Pros. This is a very good mix of young hardworking talent and exp pros. If Edwards gets it right this year this team will compete with anybody. There is a new attitude in Buffalo, soft players (Dockery) and malcontents (Peters) will not be tolerated. They will not go winless in the division this year. People are going to talk about this draft and the players that they brought in for 2009 as the turning point, the start of a new dynasty. I will go out on a limb now and say Russ Brandon is the executive of the year for the way he is turning around this team. Mental toughness and desire to play football are the kind of players that he is going out and aquiring. The mentaly soft Bills who fold like a lawn chair are not going to be on the field this year. I cannot wait till the season opener. Whipping Billy boy and uncle Tom on national TV is going to be a great feeling.

I agree.. However Butler has talent...

DL - Schobel, Stroud, Williams, Kelsay Depth - Maybin, Johnson, Denney

LB - Ellison/Maybin?, Poz, Mitch Depth- DiGi, Bowen?

CB - Mcgee, McKelvin, Corner, Youb, Florence, Byrd?

S - Whitner, Scott, Depth - Byrd? Wilson, Simpson

    HC - Jauron

Are we a Playoff team on paper??

I think we may do all right. Probably nt the division, but wildcard is a possibility..

  5. McNally Left Tackle Consultant. No relocation required. That would be his sole job work with whoever we pick and already have at LT. McNally would start tomorrow because I would want his input into who we picked and where.

    Justification

    He developed Munoz

He developed Peters from an UDFA to the pro bowl. When McNally left Peters turned into the worst pass blocking LT in the League. That's a fact jack.

I would love to see him work with Bell. He has amazing athletic talent, he just needs to time to learn and develop. Hope Trent can take hits better than the AZ game.

  6. Just received a Yahoo IM from a source deeeeeeep within stating that Peters is to be dealt for similar to what the Broncos got for Cutler. This is from so deep that Dick himself is going to release a statement by weeks end prior to the deal explaining the terms

Well Maybe Dick will have a smile on his face if he is going deeeeeeeeep..... :(

  7. I'm still annoyed by the fact that both Crowell and June could've been had for one year deals at only $2M. We should've signed one of them.

Crowell was a mistake. They should have gotten a deal done. There still must have been bad blood from last year.....

  8. Maybe he's not selling enough jerseys for Brandon to want to resign him. I'd rather the Bills sign him to a solid contract than bring in some over the hill 3rd running back like Fred Taylor.

YES! They have a solid back. Why even entertain Taylor.. It was stupid Lock him up with a 1 to 1.2 million He is worth as he will probably start 2 or 3 games.

  9. Thank you for your very good insight. This is the kind of discussion I wanted.

I agree with you that he has made a lot of bad decisions, but it could be worse. We could have Al Davis or Mike Brown (Bengals) as owners.

I don't feel we had a great GM since Wilson alienated Bill Polian. Butler did okay job with drafting, and Donohoe did a terrible job with drafting. Our current front office seems to be doing pretty well so far. Better than their 2 predecessors.

I feel Wilson is meddling and impetuous owner, but isn't that the characteristics of many CEOs?

What I don't agree with is when people blame the Bills problems on Wilson being cheap or that he over-paid players. How can he be cheap and over-spend at the same time. He just makes some bad football decisions.

I look forward to your response.

True! You can not say he is cheep. He pays players that show up and work. Kelsey is not an allstar but he is a Bill in Ralfs eyes, therfore he got paid. Jason would do him self a great benifit to his pocket book if he showed up and showed he wants to be part of this organization.

  10. Hopefully, we won't have to stick him as FS, SS, and CB next year.

I spoke with Whitner after the Pats game in the hurricane, and he said pressure the QB and the seconday will be fine... Keeping him in one spot is also the right thing to do..

  11. Wait a minute. What team is going to trade for Peters and give up a 1st round pick and then give Peters top LT NFL money? People here are assuming the Eagles will do the deal. I say the Eagles have no interest in Jason Peters and would rather use their draft picks and get their LT through the draft.

Some here think Peters is worth a 1st and a 3rd?

    Put the crack pipe away!

Exactly... Some people on this board need to come up for air...

  12. So it looks like Peters wants out of Buffalo, and there must be enough interest because Tim now says we can get first and third picks. He also mentions TE is a priority for the Bills.

Guess its not if, but when Peters will be traded.

W-S, NC: Tim, if the Bills should trade Peters, which team do you think would be most interested and what's fair compensation?

SportsNation Tim Graham: (3:37 PM ET ) Philly is mentioned most often because of their need and the fact they have the picks. A first-rounder and a third-rounder could get it done.

John(Buffalo): So basically you see the Buffalo Bills trading LT Jason Peters? Will we get a 1st rd pick for him atleast?

SportsNation Tim Graham: (3:40 PM ET ) I do see Peters bringing back a first-rounder. I wasn't convinced a few weeks ago, but the more people I speak with about it, the more that seems probable.

Robert (Latrobe, PA): So who will be stepping in for Peters after his probable trade?

SportsNation Tim Graham: (3:44 PM ET ) Excellent question. We're still trying to find out who'll be replacing Derrick Dockery. But this situation is evolving into a situation where the Bills have no choice. This isn't a decision that hinges on who the replacement will be.

char (NJ): if chad johnson was forced to stay in cincy...can't the bills use that as an example and force peters to stay?

SportsNation Tim Graham: (4:05 PM ET ) I have the strong impression Peters doesn't care about other examples. He's doing his thing.
