  1. recidivist drunk operating cab illegally

and the recidivist drunk cabbie with a history of trouble is the liar.

Noon new reports suggest that his should all be over and done with by tonite, and recidivist drunk cabbie's attorney emphatically stated that no felony charges will result.

Nothing new there, Lori - just the sworn affidavit of the recidivist drunk cabbie, with no supporting depositions.

Who had the other half? Why wouldn't the recidivist drunk cabbie give the young men their change?

That is the recidivist drunk cabbie's sworn affidavit - nothing more - with no supporting depositions. By tonite, he will have recanted the entire tall tale.

My point, apparently more obtuse than I thought, is that no one knows if the guy even was beaten - freakin guy's a recidivist drunk and a liar, and may well have bruised his face falling in the gutter.

Because the cabbie is a recidivist drunk, endangering the Kanes by operating a cab illegally, w/out a valid drivers license, then by locking them in against their will.

My understanding is that, after illegally locking the Kanes in the back of his cab against their will, that the recidivist drunk hack then refused to provide the $1.20 in change he owed them. I believe they were arrested at the scene.

OK, we get it. Recidivist Drunk Cabbie. Recidivist Drunk Cabbie. Recidivist Drunk Cabbie. Recidivist Drunk Cabbie. Have you trademarked that phrase and are hoping to popularize it to the point that it enters the American lexicon so you can cash in all the "recidivist drunk cabbie" merchandise you've stored in your garage or something?

  2. Yes I am pessimistic about the drafting abilities of the Bills. This pick did not help if the guy was healthy. Then to find out that he had a sports hernia that the FO either knew about or should have known about.... wow it is stunning and despicable the way they slap us fans around.

bI feel we will get a much bigger contribution this year from Nic Harris and Shawn Nelson than from Maybin and Byrd who we drafted in the first couple of rounds. Especially Harris. And Lankster may well even be a better overall db than Byrd; he is faster we know that about him, and he came to us undamaged.

Wood is the blue chipper of this draft though!! Looks to be the real deal.

Sounds like you're actually optimistic about the drafting abilities of the Bills.

  3. Those charming Teabaggers!

WASHINGTON (Aug. 11) -- A swastika was found Tuesday painted on a sign outside Rep. David Scott's district office, an act the Georgia Democrat said reflects an increasingly hateful and racist debate over health care and should serve as a reminder for people to tone down their rhetoric.

Scott's staff arrived at his Smyrna, Ga., office Tuesday morning to find the Nazi graffiti emblazoned on a sign bearing the lawmaker's name. The vandalism occurred roughly a week after Scott was involved in a contentious argument over health care at a community meeting.

Scott, who is black, said he also has received mail in recent days that used N-word references to him, and that characterized President Barack Obama as a Marxist.

  4. let's see - everyone keeps talking about Patrick being a world class athlete - yet with the help of a 21 year old cousin only managed to break a guy's glasses. Really? Doesn't anyone here think that a professional hockey player might do a bit more damage than that if he repeatedly punched him in the face?

I saw Kane at a local gym a few weeks ago-I'm surprised he even managed to break the guys glasses.

  5. There are a great deal of things you lack the ability to comprehend, however there are only so many electrons on the internet. I didn't say I couldn't reason with you, I said I wouldn't reason with you. The above quote is prima facie as to the futility of reasoning with you. It is not worth the ergs expended to fire a single synapse on an attempt to gracefully lead you from your benighted state.

The powers-that-be have decided that the civil discourse is no longer the soul of the body politic. Fine. Take their part if you wish; your legacy will be as an apologist for authoritarians.

    Bye now.

    <spit>

I hate to break it to you but you lack the literary chops to pull off this pseudo-Hitchens act. Stick to the cheesily veiled threats of violence and uprising, those you're actually good at.

  6. I was actually thinking about posting something similar about Ellis. I thought he looked good at camp, but he got owned all night by backups. Very dissapointing for a third rounder.

I didn't watch the second half but according to the box score Ellis had a decent game (4 tackles, 2 assists).
