Wishing him nothing but the best. Was sooo close to being a reliable weapon for us. Great team guy. Hope he has a fantastic year next year in Indy.

Would rather use picks to trade up for Bijan than bring in DeHe
Somehow I feel that Motor comes back, we feature Cook and we aim resources at upgrading the OL

Chargers in cap HELL next year, makes sense that Ekeler and others are looking to get away.

KC and Cincy are running the AFC until we prove otherwise.
There is one goal while we have Josh in his prime.

Everyone thought he was nuts for buying that franchise for $100 million.

Breece Hall and a 2nd Rd CB?
OR
Elam/James Cook?
You have the opportunity to take a clearly elite talent with a late 1st in one of the only pure plug-n-play positions in pro football, into an elite offense that needed RB to WIN A SB.
That is when you spend a 1 on the biggest "sure thing" RB since Saquan came up.
We opted for a CB we never played
Doubtful we get a shot at Bijan

Sign Damian Harris for a lot cheaper and have him and Cook split the load.
Like that thought a lot. Harris is 1st down/2nd down between the tackles grinder. Short yardage relief to Josh too. If they do not go for one of the 2 premium RB's in the draft, this is a very viable and budget friendly option.

We ran a dome offense this year. We relied too much off the big play. Where we could not get the ball downfield, we seemed to be making up the other options as we go.
Sunday, the elements worked against the home team because the visibility downfield was very difficult, and we had no short/med pass game or run game to fall back on. Save for the occasional Knox, Beas, Dirty, Shakir catch, we had nothing consistent when Diggs/Gabe weren't having big games downfield.
We need that running game threat to pull a safety in the box and create 1-0n-1 situations. We refused to do it Sunday and Mixon ate our lunch. We would be indefensible with a RB that could run inside/outside and we would save our QB's life. The hits he took Sunday were f'n scary.
Daboll's double/triple option RPO designs were so much a part of things and that element seemed to be missing this year. Josh used to be able to freeze the D and create opportunities. This year, we looked more predictable. To me, a LOT of the problem was in the offensive play design.

Would you rather have Breece Hall and a 2nd Rd. corner
OR
Elam/Cook?
Cook - 1/3rd of snaps in our biggest game of the year
Elam - hardly played but showed promise
Breece Hall, before the injury, was OROY
We have been finessing RB for far too long.

Still love him on breaking down plays as seen through the eyes of a QB.

I would argue to put one more choice in there:
He's missing a sure handed, shifty slot WR to bail us out on 3rd downs.

Goes to show you how many different elements have to work together for someone to get to the top of the QB game
Arm talent and raw athleticism are table stakes.

No cheetahs dare tread
Nor penguins dare waddle here
Stampede of bisons!

Chef's kiss to the coaches for doing so. Don't need him in blowouts only to catch a dirty block to the knees. This is the way we will have him with gas in the tank come playoff run.
Wait until this man comes out of the tunnel to the home crowd next Monday...

PUNT GOD!!!!
We are going to have fun with this player.
Memes galore and jersey sales to outpace that of former Punt God B Moorman.

It's no fun now that the Jets have a front office that makes good picks.
Bring back the days of Jeff Lageman from left field and their fans heads popping off!

Punt God completes this roster of nastiness.
Early, big, leads from Josh and co.
Eat clock, pin em deep
Try and go 90 yards on us passing with Von in the mix.
The Penn State guy would suffice as well.

Elam can't tackle....no way Beane makes him a Bill.

On any other team but the Patriots, YES.

Pat Summerall and John Madden
CBS had them on the NFC East during its golden years in the 80's
Special shout out to Dennis Miller. While not an all-time great, I am one of the few that enjoyed his humor during MNF. That was a unique twist.

We did not draft Russ
We did not draft Gronkowski
Cost us a decade
We drafted J.A.
We now belong with elites
Big Ball Beane we trust

How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
